Hi Marina! I went to an audition for my job, so keep a look out at disneyauditions.com! They're also always updating their job site so you can check at disneycareers.com for other jobs too! ☺️
i just got hired as a food prep at disneys california for partime what u think im get in hours and days?
I'm not sure. Every department is so different so it will depend on your availability and the shifts they offer!
I don’t have a car either and it’s been a pain in the butt to try and find a job. Yes I save a lot of money but when it comes to not having a ton of job opportunities it’s so much harder to find a job. 😕
Hiiiii would you gave any idea how school and working part time at Disneyland would go?? Are hours pretty flexible??
I was still in school when I first started at Disney and they were pretty flexible with working with my schedule! You just let them know you're a student!
@@brittfuentes do you think the schedule is flexible if you have to ride the bus? I have a zoom interview and the earliest I could get to Disneyland is around 4:30am and latest I can leave Disneyland is probably 9pm. 😞
@@annmarie6870 yes! there are a lot of cast members who rely on public transportation and are able to make it work!
@@brittfuentes my recruiter was awesome. I didn’t get the job I wanted but she got me a job that worked out with the bus schedule…
@@brittfuentes yes I see a lot of them on the bus. It’s funny because my neighbor who lives right next door to me works there. Lol!
May I ask are you full time or part time? And how is the scheduling. I just got hired and super nervous! :)

I'm full time so I usually go in 5 days a week! It was a little crazy a few months ago and I was working 6 days, but it seems like it's calmed down a bit now! Congrats on the new job!

Hi there! I'd like to ask as to whether Cast Members work several different departments during their period of employment or do they tend to stick to one particular area?
It can depend on your department, but you might work a few different places within your department. (If you’re in attractions, you might work at a few different attractions for example). I’ve worked in a few different locations in my time there!
@@brittfuentes Many Thanks! That gives some clarity! I used to think there was a lot of rotation between departments. Honestly if I was ever working there I'd be keen to work the trains if it was possible (have a bit of rail experience and would get a kick outta it!)
Yeah, you’ll rotate within the department that you’re in. That’s awesome! I love the trains!
@@brittfuentes That's understandable! Yeah I can certainly see why Walt loved 'em! I've experienced driving steam engines before but not quite like the Disneyland trains - those are classic!

I have an interview coming up and I really have no clue how to answer the question “why do you want to work for Disney?” Anyone have a good response to this? I suppose I like the code words they use between co workers but not sure what else to say. I feel like a goof. Lol

I recommend talking about your personal connection to Disney. Like why does disney mean so much to you? Basically just make that your reason. Hope this helps :)
