I've built a few motorcycles using the Motogadget M-unit and I kept asking myself if something like that existed for cars..... and here you are! I just started a '77 Datsun 620 truck project and I plan to go with a fully built KA24DE-T motor. Since I'm building every aspect of the truck from scratch, I wanted to completely eliminate relays and fuses and go as clean and streamlined as possible. I can't wait to get my hands on this and blow up your techs with endless questions!
Any chance you guys can do a quick video on hooking this (PMU-16 (DL)) up to an EMU Black, Keypad and an ADU via Can Bus and a quick software startup guide to communicate with them all? Thanks!
That's all covered in the product manuals and isn't something we can cover in a quick video. If you aren't clear on anything in the product manuals, don't hesitate to reach out via email to support@ecumasterusa.com or post in our facebook group.
I just installed this pdm in my sc400. I'm running 8 audi R8 ignition coils, will one output be able to handle all of them or should i pair another output to the circuit?
Hey Guys from ECU Master. I have a few questions about your products. To make changes to CAN operated devices from ECU Master like the PMU, do I need the USBtoCAN module or is the access possible through the USB from EMU Black or ADU? Second question, the Datalogger DL1 is wired to outputs at the EMU Black. Does it log CAN things like data from the PMU and for example the GPStoCAN as well? Or does the EMU provide only engine data to the DL1? Thanks
A fusebox can't retry a circuit or instantly turn on a backup circuit, give diagnostics (via the status LEDs or a CAN message), soft start or PWM a channel, or implement any kind of advanced controls. Not to mention the inertia switch function that will disable all circuits in the event of a collision. By the time you purchase several switches, relays, a fan controller, and all the materials required to install them, the cost ends up being very similar and you have a fraction of the functionality of a PMU16.

This company is awesome! I worked with Zack back in 2016 when I had a 7MGTE engine; years later it’s now controlling a 2JZGTE engine in my Mk3 Supra.
Well I finally purchased one for my car, can't wait to install it!
Awesome! You will never go back after you have proper power management!

We do not offer a plug and play or interconnect for your car. Check with your local distributor/retailer for options.
Not much off the shelf for French cars. There's a clio specialist in the UK will rewire your car to utilise the pdu.
I am doing the samw with my 405
It’s a nice product but its too expensive for the relay and fuse control
I think they arw aiming to rich people or 100k cars
