I did the same kind of work when I was much younger, the only difference was the grid wasn’t fusible you had to dab washable glue or pin so you could flip and sew. This way looks so very very much easier!😊

Very cute pincushion. My daughter is allergic to nuts. The shells can still have the oils in them. Best to not use those if anyone has allergies.

Love this technique for sewing smaller squares of fabric. Great tip for sewing multiple pin cushions at once.

Such a cute, quick way to get some small gifts done in a hurry. I agree with you about using steam; however, I have that mini Oliso iron, but the steam function does not work. 😢 So I just keep my misting water bottle handy. Now I need to order that fusible grid product!
