As ministers of God we are instructed to "be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth" (2 Timothy 2:15). How do we study, interpret and communicate Scripture so that we are "rightly dividing the word of truth"? What is the difference between allegory, illustration and type? Is it right to allegorize Scripture texts introducing meaning not intended by the Holy Spirit? How do we respond to apparent discrepancies in historical information or Gospel accounts in Scripture? How do we interpret prophetic texts? We will also address several common questions: Are the gifts of the Spirit still for the Church today? Can women teach God's Word and operate in five-fold ministry gifts? Should New Testament believers tithe? and so much more.
