Oradea, also known as Grosswardein, Varadinum or Nagyvarad, is one of the most beautiful cities in Transylvania, Romania.
This video starts with a panoramic view of the entire city, as seen from the City Hall Tower, followed by a walk through the city center to observe the spectacular Art Nouveau heritage architecture and this years' Christmas Market.
The architectural highlights that can be observed include: The Black Eagle Palace (Palatul Vulturul Negru) with its' passageway and Black Eagle stained glass decoration built in 1909, the City Hall, State Theater, Moon Church, plus a lot of palaces (like Apollo, Stern) and other heritage houses.
