Lama kyenno!!!! I have so much respect for Rinpoche. I'm an American and found the holy Buddha's Dharma through him and Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche. I don't practice Dorje Shugden yet, but not because I fear the prohibition of HH or the Tibetan government, but because I primarily propitiate Devi Sarasvati and her wrathful emanation Palden Lhamo, and haven't received Dorje Shugden from a lama yet. I hope to make a pilgrimage to KFR one day! I rejoice in Rinpoche's infinite compassion and enlightened activity and pray and cry regularly that he return swiftly so I can finally meet him.
Very logical presentation of facts. Thank you Tsem Rinpoche. Thank you for speaking up against this injustice when so many people are afraid to take a stand against the Dalai Lama and his government. Most people do not know that simply having an opinion which is different to the Dalai Lama makes one an enemy, especially if your are someone who is in Tibetan Buddhism. I have seen how you have been abused over the years for speaking up and yet you continue to do so. Please keep going stronG Rinpoche.
I thank Rinpoche for his supreme logic, for one is if one has broken one's refuge views by relying on a spirit then that person would have never come back in a perfect human form. Yet all the high Lamas of the Gelug tradition and known Dorje Shugden practitioners returned again and again.Not only that, the fact that the CTA, tried to recognize other persons as Domo Geshe shows you that the CTA themselves do not believe practicing Dorje Shugden leads one to the lower realms.
Thank you Rinpoche for sharing very important facts to denounce the myth that by praying to Dorje Shugden (DS) one will fall into the 3 lower realms. In addition to the many names of high lamas who have relied upon DS and have returned back to continue teaching and spreading the dharma (as a high lama), the fact about His Holiness Kyabje Trijang Dorjechang, the Junior Tutor of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama practiced Dorje Shugden, again till the end of his life. According to the Tibetan leadership, this means that the Dalai Lama’s own tutor died a spirit worshipper and therefore, according their basis for banning the practice, Trijang Rinpoche should have taken rebirth in the three lower realms. So why then is the Dalai Lama himself recognizing the reincarnation of his teacher, Trijang Chocktrul Rinpoche? Thus it appears the Tibetan’s Exile Government attempt to brainwash and frighten its own people into avoiding DS and demonising DS is done on a basis which is unfounded and illogical. It is also interesting that Rinpoche had mentioned that His Holiness Kyabje Trijang Dorjechang had predicted that the Dalai Lama and Dorje Shugden are in conflict with each other to the ordinary eye, through the conventional sense and through conventional observation. But ultimately, it is about the expansion of the Buddhadharma. Though one who takes refuge in DS may be in conflict with the Dalai Lama and Central Tibetan Administration decision on DS, one must still maintain high respect and gratitude to HH the Dalai Lama and to request with folded hands to HH, : as our mere mortal minds cannot see nor understand exactly why such conflict exist between HH and DS, we can still respectfully request HH to lift the ban and negative perception on DS because many have been suffering due to the segregation and prejudice (and sometimes even violence ) held against all who take refuge in DS. Thus with folded hands we bow to HH and request in your great compassion please lift the ban and negative perception on DS so that harmony may reign, fellowship restored and peace of mind for the masses who have been living in fear all these years, just because they chose to follow the Guru who blessed them with Dorje Shugden and were exercising their fundamental right to freedom of religion.

CTA is bz playing politics and dont even have time for their tibetan people in china's concentration camp.neither do they have reasonable level of education to be a competent govt.thats why the people have been refugees ever since.meanwhile viet refugees have gotten back and building a country for posterity.
This is a wonderfully direct and logical discourse on the failings of the ban. This is precisely what we need right now to lift the ban because people need logical conclusions especially for the masses out there. Most people are just ordinary people who are on the periphery of Tibetan Buddhism looking in and trying their best to make sense of this whole Shugden ban and deciding why the Buddha’s teachings on wisdom and compassion has degenerated into a ban on a religious practice. Even the very basis of the ban does not hold water and while logical conclusion about the enlightened nature of the ban is very concrete and actually replete with proof that Dorje Shugden is indeed enlightened. I love how rinpoche actually dissected the explanations of a spirit and of how great lamas of the past and present who relied on Dorje Shugden are not wrong and not only that, they have successfully taken rebirth. Furthermore, the hypocrisy of the Tibetan government for enshrining the Shugden ban within the Tibetan charter specifically mentioned the ban on Dorje Shugden. The Tibeta government identifies itself as a democratic state but where does the Shugden ban fit into the scheme of things? it does not. There is no basis and in fact, it gives us logical basis to conclude not in favor of the removal of the ban.
Here are a few points that should be painfully obvious to all: 1) the number of Dorje Shugden practitioners listed above. The lamas listed above are just a handful of practitioners to rely on Dorje Shugden. There is them, and there are the countless other practitioners over the last 400 years since Dorje Shugden arose as a Dharma Protector. There are thousands upon thousands of undocumented, non-ranking, ordinary practitioners who relied on Dorje Shugden too. who were not listed in Rinpoche’s poster above. According to the CTA, all of these lamas went to the lower realms. 400 years’ worth of practitioners ended up in the lower realms. What I would like to ask is this - how come all of the previous Dalai Lama’s never did anything to stop it over the last 400 years and instead allowed so many people to end up in the three lower realms? How come the 5th Dalai Lama created a chapel to him, thereby encouraging people to worship him? How come the 11th Dalai Lama enthroned him as a protector? How come the 13th Dalai Lama relied on him for advice and how come the 14th Dalai Lama composed a praise to him? If what the CTA says is true, and Dorje Shugden people end up in the three lower realms, how come all of the previous Dalai Lama’s not only failed to stop the practice, but in some cases encouraged and promoted it? So the CTA recognizing Dorje Shugden lama reincarnations isn’t the only hypocritical thing; the fact is that is Dorje Shugden practice is really so bad, the previous Dalai Lama’s would not have let it get this far.The fact Dorje Shugden practice got this far can only mean one of three things: (a) there’s actually nothing wrong with Dorje Shugden and he’s an enlightened being and that’s why they encouraged the practice - OR - (b) the previous Dalai Lama’s had no compassion and that’s why they allowed Dorje Shugden practice to become so prevalent - OR - (c) the previous Dalai Lama’s and all the other high lamas in Tibet had and have no power to stop a so-called spirit.Which one is it?2) the calibre of the Dorje Shugden practitioners listed above. These were not ordinary householders or normal beings who relied on Dorje Shugden as a protector. These were learned, studied monks who could choose from a pantheon of protectors, and yet they chose Dorje Shugden and spread it to their students. Is the Tibetan leadership saying they singularly know more about religion and Dorje Shugden practice, than all of these lamas put together? The fact is that the CTA cannot stop this wave of truths going out into the world. I really am thankful that Rinpoche has started doing these live stream videos because I know they will go a long way to clearing up the misconceptions people have about Dorje Shugden practice. Thank you Rinpoche for this profound teaching. Rinpoche had gave a very clear explanation, logical, facts and examples that Dorje Shugden people do not go the three lower realms. Rinpoche has given a very clear explanation on the Refuge Vows and it is very important to holding our refuge vow very well because it is the basis of gaining attainments from our meditational practice on tantra. Without holding the refuge vow correctly, it like a house without the foundation and everything will be collapse or everything is gone. The rules of thumbs of refuge vow is guru, we take refuge to the guru, without the guru, there is no Dharma and guru is on top of everything. Guru is the only person gave us teaching, guidance and practice based on Buddha’s teaching. So Rinpoche has shown to all of us what is spiritual integrity. A promise is a promise and we should never gave up. Rinpoche has share with us that there are so many lamas practicing Dorje Shugden so it’s not like CTA claimed that it is just a minor practice. Regardless how many people are practicing the Dorje Shugden, CTA has no right to ban people practicing it. If CTA claims they are democratic, they should give the Tibetan people the freedom to believe, religion, practice, speech and choice of living. By openly degrade and discourages the practices of Dorje Shugden in the website like Tibet.net and DalaiLama.com, it is discriminate and create more harms to the their own Tibetan people. This is not democratic. There is so many lamas who practiced Dorje Shugden do not go to the three lower realms, they are even reincarnated back as high lamas. It is clearly and obviously show to everyone that the Dorje Shugden people do not go to the three lower realms. Furthermore, the Tibetan Government did recognizing the reincarnation of those lamas who engaged in the practice. The very good example is Trijang Rinpoche. Tibetan government is contradict themselves. With folded hands, I appeal to His Holiness Dalai Lama to lift the Dorje Shugden ban immediately. Let’s all the Tibetan people are united to be peace and harmony.
This powerful teaching clearly explains the causes for being a spirit. This is clearly not the case for Dorje Shugden who is practiced by many high lamas who surely would not be cheated by a spirit. So many high lamas have practiced Dorje Shugden and have reincarnated and are recognised also by the Dalai Lama such as cited by H.E. Tsem Rinpoche. So it makes no sense to say they go to the three lower realms and it contradictes itself. So many high lamas have been reincarnated and recognised and some have been cited here in the teaching. I really rejoice for H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche’s clear explanations on the illogical ban so that everyone understands what is going on. I hope that these teachings get seen by many people so that everyone understands what is happening to the Dorje Shugden practitioners and lamas worldwide. I hope that all Tibetans unite very soon and that HH the Dalai Lama ends this painful conflict very soon. We should all live with the freedom to practice any religion we want. Thank you Rinpoche for giving such a very logical explanation and example of Dorje Shugden practitioners do not go to the three lower realms. Over past 400 years many erudite masters practices Dorje Shugden practice had proven their attainment and if this protector practice is harmful I don’t think it will take such a long time for HH Dalai Lama now to encountered and to stop this practice. I strongly believe the great master during those days would have the attainment to see and definitely stop this practice from harming anyone instead of passing it down up today. Dorje Shugden never been an issue until the Tibetan leadership use it as a scapegoat for causing His Holiness short life and affect Tibetan cause. This baseless claimed causes so much suffering to many people in many level. No government would interfere anyone spiritual practice and in order to bring peace and harmony the leader would respect and allow freedom for unity. Tibetan leadership using spiritual to control their people is really a bad strategy and it should not exist at this time anymore.
Dorje Shugden practitioners do not enter into lower realms just because we practice Dorje Shugden. There are tons of Highly attained masters who are the best of the best such as Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche and Kyabje Zong Rinpoche has reincarnated back into human form and also back into the monastery. This already debunked what CTA said about DS practictioners will enter into the lower realms. This shows how immature CTA is in their logic thinking and how they think they can manipulate the people with statements that has no basis. What Tsem Rinpoche had explained in this video is very direct and easy to understand.
This is a very powerful teaching. This video will definitely shake the world and open up many people’s mind. I humbly thank my guru H.E. the 25th Tsem Tulku Rinpoche for clearing the doubt to those who had blindly believed on what was told by HHDL and CTA. It’s 21 century now. We do not just believe without questioning. All the sufferings can be avoid if everyone take a step forward and think deeper. Why is CTA using religion to confused Tibetan? People are sufferings due to the ban. Families were split and being forced to give up their practice by CTA. All Buddhists in the world are confused because they were being told cannot associate with Dorje Shugden people. Millions of Dorje Shugden practitioners all over the world, were not allowed to enter many dharma centres and temples who do not practice Dorje Shugden. Hence, is that means, Dorje Shugden practitioners not allowed to have Dharma? Then why in our everyday prayer we dedicate to all sentient beings? After all, Lord Buddha taught us to practice compassion and wisdom not discrimination. No religion should practice discrimination.
Rinpoche’s talk is very clear and concise in highlighting how CTA contradict themselves and how the allegations of Dorje Shugden do not make sense. 1) CTA supports the allegation by HH the Dalai Lama that Dorje Shugden practitioners take rebirth in the 3 lower realms. However, they recognize lamas who practiced Dorje Shugden in their previous life. They contradict themselves openly. 2) Many reincarnate lamas used to practice Dorje Shugden in their previous lives. They continue to reincarnate till this day. Many of them are elite Buddhist masters. They didn’t reincarnate into the 3 lower realms. Conclusion is that people who practice Dorje Shugden do not automatically go to the 3 lower realms. The allegations are proven WRONG. It is with great compassion that Tsem Rinpoche publically requested HH the Dalai Lama to announce the lifting of the ban on Dorje Shugden for the sake of thousands of people who are suffering tremendously as a result of this illegal ban. It would be interesting to see how much longer HH the Dalai Lama remains quiet because HH travels the world every year promoting peace, compassion, and religious harmony. IF HH can’t even create peace and religious harmony amongst his own people, then his world tours promoting peace and religious harmony in other countries would inspire no one.

It is important for people to know that the basis of the ban against Dorje Shugden practice - the accusations and the claims that Dorje Shugden is a spirit practice is false. Rinpoche has mentioned one very important point that if Dorje Shugden is indeed a spirit like what the Tibetan leadership in exile are claiming, then, why all the high lamas who practiced Dorje Shugden in the previous lives came back in perfect human forms and being recognized by the Tibetan leadership, the very party who said that practicing Dorje Shugden will bring the practitioners to the lower realm. Many of us and out there need to watch and learn more about this. Tsem Rinpoche is gave so logical explanation on this live stream. Many great masters of the past and present have practiced and are still practicing Dorje Shugden. Dorje Shugden practice since Sakya time, how can CTA talk illogical to public and want them to believe? This is impossible! Over 100 High lamas practicing Dorje Shugden and still reincarnated to benefit others. CTA stop criticism, discrimination and segregate Dorje Shugden practitioners.
Rinpoche has presented very clearly and precise that by practising Dorje Shugden, sentient beings does not goes to lower realm, as Dorje Shugden has been practice by great lamas, and great lamas have reincarnated and return to samsara, again and again, to help all sentient beings, and that will shows that this lamas have great attainment by practicing Dorje Shugden. Dorje Shugden's has also be pass down, and Gurus have given specific instruction on the practice of Dorje Shugden's practice to their disciples, and i also known that Dorje Shugden's practice has also been pass down from generation to generation of Tibetan's family. Why is a practice that is so sacred has been twisted and changed into such situation?
Just as Trijang Rinpoche said before, “In order for someone to become convinced that Dorje Shugden was a worldly spirit “A mountain of absurd consequences, previously non-existent distorted ideas, would have to be accepted.” Here Tsem Rinpoche presented hundreds and names of high lamas who practice Dorje Shugden, some have been practicing since their previous lifetimes, and still reincarnate and continue the practice. What better evidence do we need to be convinced that practicing Dorje Shugden is not harmful, let alone resulting in the three lower realms? “mountain of absurd consequences” indeed.
Very interesting, logical facts. What Rinpoche presented shows that, first, Dorje Shugden practice is not a minor practice. How can it be a minor practice when some of the highest, most eminent lamas across different schools practiced it? How was the lineage holders, whom many of us have received teachings, instructions and practices from, not been able to see who Dorje Shugden is? If Dorje Shugden is spirt worshipping, then these lamas would all have broken their vows, collected heavy negative karma, and even more so by having their students/disciples practice Dorje Shugden. Nobody since 400 years ago, would have shown attainments, but yet, over the past 400 years, we have learn, seen, read about the many miracles performed by lamas/monks/disciples; whom also practiced Dorje Shugden. The Central Tibetan Administration is a political, governmental body, and should not interfere with religious affairs. Why would they not focus on doing their works for the betterment of lives, which the Tibetan populace greatly needs? For the amount of resources they had spent in demonising Dorje Shugden, Ds lamas and practitioners, they could have instead used it for purposes of education, health, growth, umaylam, etc - these are the very reasons why the kind donors gave them money to do so, not to use the donations to split their people and create disharmony. What Rinpoche presented here makes sSO MUCH SENSE!. How come all the high lamas who practiced Dorje Shugden have incarnated back? AND MOST IRONIC, how come, HHDL and the Tibetan Administration, recognises these lamas when they (according to them) should have gone to the 3 lower realms for spirit worship? They should actually be praying for, showing compassion to these lamas, and not recognising them, if we think about the logic and arguments they used to validate the Dorje Shugden ban. It makes their views, opinions, and what the reasons they use against DS very illogical, and contradictory. There has been so much evidence produced in this blog to show that Dorje Shugden is not a spirit worship, nor a minor one, nor does his practice harm the Tibetan cause. HHDL, please lift the ban on Dorje Shugden, because there should be no reason to ban this.
u cant say logical and reincarnated in the same story. its about titles there is no such thing being born with same qualities its about study the identity you are trying to portray after years of practicing and being a hero of the idea like a superhero being replaced and not being noticed. its like different types of people u are trying to absorb as it comes to knowledge and being the best you. dorje shugden is more of a theatrics and back to its old ways. i hope the next generation of dorje shugden comes with one that speaks english too instead of just tibetan. dorje shugden is a title. hope this guy can keep it up. dont talk about making sense if u dont know the entire history of tibetan empire. look up elliot spearling and matteo pistono.
There are so many great masters relied on Dorje Shugden, and now they have reincarnated in perfect human body form and continue their previous life's dharma works for the benefit of others.Even some of the senior monks are practicing Dorje Shugden for over 70 years and they have no intention to give up the practice as to hold guru devotion strongly and believe in Dorje Shugden. Very insightful and powerful video by His Eminence. The Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) over the decades have made quite a huge number of untruthful statements in regards to Dorje Shugden, misleading people to believe that he is a spirit, he is the reason why Tibet loss their country and it is absolutely not the CTA’s fault why they loss their own country. The Dorje Shugden practice on its own was never an issue until the Tibetan leadership decided to make it into an issue. In Tibet itself, there are quite a few religions/ practices that co-exist within the society. For example, Buddhism, Muslim, Christian, Hindu, Bon and etc. All the respective followers of each sect/ religion/ practice have the freedom to whichever religion they believe in, there’s no problem at all. The only ‘problem’ now is that Dorje Shugden is being used as a scapegoat for the CTA’s failure, so they can justify the fact why after six decades, they still cannot get their country back. They like to blame China for taking over Tibet but if you really think about it, it’s illogical. How can you blame someone for being more capable and powerful than you are? They are powerful because they work for it. Instead of blaming China for the past six decades, the Tibetan leadership should instead initiate something, expand, contribute and prove themselves fit to run Tibet. But unfortunately, that has not been realised. One of the things that the CTA like to do is blame their failure on something else so they do not have to hold any responsibility, this is a common trend within the Tibetan society. Remember, Dorje Shugden practice was never an issue until the CTA made it into one. The CTA lie to the public and they have been telling people that Dorje Shugden followers/ worshippers will go to the three lower realms for worshipping a demon. That is absolutely a nonsensical lie! What about H.H Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche? H.H.Kyabje Pabongka Rinpoche, H.H.Kyabje Zong Rinpoche, Lama Yeshe, Kyabje Denma Gonsa Rinpoche and many others high lamas? They all practised Dorje Shugden in their previous lives, and all of their undisputed incarnations have been found and confirmed by His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama together with the Dorje Shugden oracle. So why didn’t they go to the three lower realms? Don’t you think that the CTA are lying? Who actually knows how much more they are lying and hiding away from the people?

The most incredible evidence of their return is that they were recognised by Dalai Lama and the Tibetan Leadership!The 10th Panchen Lama, a great Shugden practitioner 's reincarnation came back. Thank you Rinpoche for this very powerful, straight to the point and logical explanation of why the DS practitioners will not take rebirth in the three lower realm. What strikes me are: 1. If DS is a spirit, those lamas who practise DS will never be able to come back in human form. Buddha said before if Buddhists take refuge in spirits, they will take rebirth in the three lower realms. 2. If DS is truly a spirit like what Dalai Lama and CTA are claiming, then why do they still recognise the reincarnation of DS Lamas? For example, Zong Rinpoche, Trijang Rinpoche, Lama Yeshe, Domo Geshe Rinpoche. So is CTA lying when they say DS is a spirit? Why does CTA do that? 3. Are the Tulkus who in their previous lives practised DS recognised by Dalai Lama real? If they are real then the claim they made about DS being a spirit will not stand anymore. 4. By saying DS is a spirit it will makes the teachings of the lamas invalid. So many Gelug great masters are or were strong DS practitioners so their teachings are wrong? All the points raised by Rinpoche are absolutely logical, it is hard to refute.
Tibetan Leadership (CTA) is accountable for the misconceptions and wrong views about how spirits arose. Those opponents who had listened to CTA and defamed Buddha Dorje Shugden as a spirit will end up with heavy negative karma! CTA had tarnished and caused a disrepute of Tibetan Buddhism. Why do Tibetans still rely on CTA who is an irresponsible and ignorant leadership?
I learnt that it’s karma which determines where or which realm we are going after death. For example, spirits are basically people who has very strong attachment, hatred or desire. Usually these type of people will go to 3 lower realm, of course there are many other causes for us to be reborn in 3 lower realms, such as killing. Speaking of practising Dorje Shugden and it causes us to be reborn in 3 lower realm never made sense to me. On the basis of Dorje Shugden himself is an enlightened being, by reciting his mantra and doing his pujas, which suppose to heal and protect people, it was twisted to something opposite is purely a joke. As mentioned, there are hundreds of High Lamas or respected teachers who relied on Dorje Shugden have taken rebirth as human to continue to benefit people. For instance, the 11th Panchen Lama who just had a Kalachakra initiation in Shigatze, over 100,000 attended included over 5000 monks and nuns and 100 incarnated lamas and teachers. If Dorje Shugden practitioners like 11th Panchen Lama is wrong, then all these 100,000 people are wrong too? I personally do not think China will allow a “fake” Lama to hold such a grand religious event, as we know China is very strict in religious affair and has implemented rules and regulations to recognise real tulkus, the government does not allow anyone to spread impure teachings. Unless one is a Dorje Shugden practitioner or read up well, it is easy to just assume what Tibetan leadership declared that Dorje Shugden is spirit worship to be true. There is a lot of prior knowledge required and even the Tibetans on the street wouldn't be able to discern the misinformation and justifications given. No matter how it is not right to denigrate and discriminate other faith no matter how small the number of believers. It is just plain wrong. It is not compassion. Superiority in numbers or powers doesn't automatically allows one's act to become 'compassionate'. The information presented here is so much logical and clears many inconsistencies and confusions created by Tibetan leadership to discriminate one's belief. Hopefully with deeper thinking the misunderstanding will be clear. 🙏
When the religion is institutionalized like the CTA it is difficult for DS practitioners to uphold what CTA has outlawed. Is there not avenue for DS practitioners to appeal or request for a healthy debate with CTA . Sounds like politics is an issue here.

Just to name a few gelupa masters Kyabje Pabongka Dorje Chang Dangpo, Trijang Choktrul Rinpoche, Kyabje Zong Dorje Chang as well as the Sakya masters 35th Sakya Throne Holder Tashi Rinchen, 33rd Sakya Throne Holder Pema Dudul Wangchuk, 31st Sakya Throne Holder Kunga Lodro, 30th Sakya Throne Holder Sonam Rinchen, they all practice Dorje Shugden. What even surprising to me is that though CTA is claiming that Dorje Shugden practice will send you to the lower three realms but yet they are continuing recognizing the reincarnations of lamas who engaged in the practice? One such great lama is the 11th Panchen lama, the reincarnation of the H.H. the 10th Panchen lama who is proven to have been a Dorje Shugden practitioner. Based on the above, I find the CTA is both illogical & contradicting in claiming that Dorje Shugden practice will bring harm & result in taking rebirth in the lower realms. However, what is real & truth is that their selfish & undemocratic regime towards the thousands of practitioners have caused nothing virtuous but tremendous suffering to the practitioners since the ban started in 1996. Hence, I am appealing to CTA to please lift the ban & end all the unnecessary suffering immediately, not to save the enlightened deity from harm but to help thousands of people from becoming outcasts.
It’s incredible how many great masters of the past and present have practiced and are still practicing Dorje Shugden. But what’s even more incredible is how many of these lamas have reincarnated once again in human form to benefit sentient beings, many of whom are recognized, acknowledged and enthroned by those who claim that Dorje Shugden is a spirit. Doesn’t the Tibetan leadership have sufficient grounding in Buddhist principles to know that, if they claim that Dorje Shugden is an evil spirit, and that those who engage in his practice go to the three lower realms, then they should not shoot themselves in the foot by recognizing the reincarnations of Dorje Shugden lamas? Don’t they see that by recognizing such big names as H.H. Trijang Chocktrul Rinpoche, H.H. Panchen Lama, H.E. Domo Geshe Rinpoche and many others, all they are doing is proving that their claims are false, and that Dorje Shugden is most definitely an enlightened being that we can take refuge in? The Tibetan leadership must think that the rest of the world are either blind enough to follow their advice mindlessly, or that we are stupid enough not to see through the holes in their logic. Either way, it is clear to me that Dorje Shugden must be enlightened, and therefore it follows that the CTA must be lying about the nature of his practice for some shady ulterior motive. Why else would a “democratic” government put their reputation at risk and put up discriminative propaganda against a group of religious followers? Shame on them.
Budhism is of three branches : 1. Theravadhan as seen in Sri lanka, Myanmar, Thailand etc 2. Mahayana of China, Japan, Korea etc. 3. Vajrayana or Tibetan buddhism. Theravadhan and Mahayana predates the Tibetan Buddhism. Theravadhan and Mahayana nevere even heard of Dorje Shugden or Dolgyal. Vajrayana or Tibetan Buddhism have 5 sects: Kagyu, Nyingma, Sakya, Jornang and gelug. Of these five sect Only some section of gelug follow DS (Dolgyal spirit). So you see Historically Dorje shugden followers were minority of minority since the ancient times.

Same here. I just found his channel just earlier this month and learned of his passing 3 years ago...it is amazing! I am just not understanding that why he would turn ill and gained so much weight? I watched a video when he was 40, he was very thin with a lot of energy. Nonetheless, his enthusiasm, efforts, genuine spirit, sincerity and clarity have been the same since way back when! I guess for more than 20 years, he had been an advocate for the practice of Dorje Shugden and to protect his Guru and Lineage. The whole issue about Dorje Shugden practitioners going or not going to the Three Lower Realms is indiciative of what Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche said about His Holiness aparantly having conflict with Dorje Shugden. This is an example of this conflict. Obviously, from the evidence that Tsem Rinpoche has provided us in the wonderful teaching, it is clear that practicing Dorje Shugden does not lead you to the Three Lower Realms. So many high lamas have reincarnated back, and are even recognised by the very same Tibetan leadership that damned their previous lives to hell for the worship of Dorje Shugden. As Rinpoche said, it doesn’t make sense. Viewed form a higher level, it is clear that His Holiness has a plan in all of his actions to ensure that the Dharma is preserved and spread. So aparantly espousing something that is contradictory must be a part of this plan. His Holiness is Avalotieshvara after all. We might not be at the level to see it yet, but even Dorje Shugden has said that he is the really and unmistaken Incarnation of the Dalai Lama. In previous lives, such as his 5th incarnation, he performed actions that may have seemed odd or contradictory at the time, such as the unification of Tibet. But in the end it made sense. Perhaps this is the same case with the practice of Dorje Shugden. Once Dorje Shugden’s name is cleared using logic, perhaps everything will be revealed to make sense.

If we study the history of Tibetan Buddhism in the last few hundred years, we can find that Dorje Shugden is being practiced by many high lamas. If Dorje Shugden practitioners are indeed like what Tibetan leadership said, then there will not be much reincarnated lamas these days because a big population of them would have gone to three lower realms. This is yet another case of Tibetan leadership shooting themselves in the foot again.They have made up stories and claims for their own benefits, but they are not very smart in making claims, and their claims can be easily debunked with simple logic debate. The only way for their strategy to work, is to make sure their people to be as naive as possible, but unfortunately for them, people are getting smarter and getting many information from internet instead of just information from Tibetan leadership itself. I thank Tsem Rinpoche for such simple yet very logic reasoning to refute the false claims by Tibetan leadership. I look forward to more logic (and interesting) videos from Tsem Rinpoche!

Comment from Chuah Su Ming: When I first came across the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) website, I was so turn off by the section where they actually said that if you practice Dorje Shugden, you are not allowed to go of H.H. The Dalai Lama’s teachings. Seriously? I thought H H The Dalai Lama is like the most compassionate man on this earth? I do not deserve H H The Dalai Lama’s blessings? Many questions came to my mind. I thought H.H. The Dalai Lama advocate religious differences and tolerance to achieve world peace. Recently, H.H. spoke about the injustice towards the Rohinya people in Myanmar. Why doesn’t HH and CTA look at their own discrimination at their own backyard?? Tsem Rinpoche’s video was very good. It shows so many level of logical answers to why people who practice Dorje Shugden does not all go to the 3 lower realms. In fact as I am a practioner of Dorje Shugden, I am taught that I am also subjected to the law of Karma… with every action , there are consequences. I have seen and been with many Dorje Shugden Lama who has tirelessly work for others and one of them is my Guru Tsem Rinpoche…. I don’t think my Guru is going to the 3 lower realms because his action of saving / benefitting others 24/7 everyday is against the law of karma. So u save and benefit others all the time = you be reborn as a spirit / animal ? Doesn’t make sense. I do hope many will read and watch this… in today’s world, logic explanation is important cause we deserve the truth.
I think the points that Rinpoche brought and asked is very logical and if we truly honestly ask ourselves, we would easily come to the conclusion and the answer, that practising Dorje Shugden certainly DOES NOT bring you to the three lower realms! If seeing all the attained master incarnate back and some are even being recognised by His Holiness the Dalai Lama still does not clear one’s doubts and mind, then it is just plainly obvious that it is all just a political propaganda to persecute Shugden practitioners for whatever reasons, it definitely NOT acceptable. Definitely not acceptable if CTA claims to be a democratic administration. Definitely not acceptable. To have pages dedicated toward discriminating another person’s religion, faith and practice is just downright not wrong if you call yourself democratic. That in itself is a breach of human rights which allows people to have freedom of religion without any discrimination. And just so the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) or those who support it does not know what is religious freedom, please read the below: “Human rights are rights inherent to all human beings, regardless of race, sex, nationality, ethnicity, language, religion, or any other status. Human rights include the right to life and liberty, freedom from slavery and torture, freedom of opinion and expression, the right to work and education, and many more.” So my question is has the CTA been doing this to Shugden practitioners? Has the CTA been allowing Shugden practitioners to love freely without any obstacles, hindrances and without any discriminatory issues? If the answer is YES then it would obviously be a BIG lie because then why all those anti-Shugden pages on the CTA’s official website and on His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s website? Does not make any sense. And since the CTA themselves does not respect human rights, then what they always complain about China not giving Tibetans human rights becomes invalid because they are doing the SAME to their own people and that’s just isn’t right. Second issue and totally nonsensical is why is His Holiness recognising previous practised Shugden Lamas? Whether or not they are practising it this life does not matter, they should be in the three lower realms. How can they return and on top of that be recognised by the very person who said they will go to the lower realms? Again invalid, illogical and clearly is false. So CTA better think of better excuses to persecute your own people, because so far, they all do not make any sense. What you are doing to your people is so wrong. Tibetan should be united and be in harmony just life before, otherwise, no point asking for any autonomy from China.
The Tibetan leadership CTA has been saying that "Dorje Shugden is spirit worship". If anyone worship spirit, he/she would have broken his/her refuge vows and will go to the three lower realms. However, we have so many facts to show that many high lamas who practiced Dorje Shugden strongly such as HH Trijang Rinpoche (Tutor of HH Dalai Lama), Lama Yeshe, Domo Geshe Rinpoche, H.E. Kyabje Lati Rinpoche, etc etc, are reincarnated back and CTA has also recognised their current incarnation, CTA is just contradicting what they are saying that Dorje Shugden practice is a spirits and will go to the three lower realms. Thank you Rinpoche for such a logical and easy to understand explanation to make us understand Dorje Shugden is not a spirit but an enlightened beings.
Thank you, Rinpoche, for this logical sharing. It clearly explains the ludicrous reason used by CTA to demonize Dorje Shugden. If Dorje Shugden practitioners go to the three lower realms as claimed by CTA, that means all the high lamas who practiced, prayed to and promoted to DS would not have reincarnated back in perfect human form to continue their work. And on one hand, CTA claims that DS practitioners will go to the three lower realms yet, on the other hand, they fight to recognize high lama’s incarnation as in the case of Domo Geshe Rinpoche. CTA is contradicting themselves. Coupled with the evidence shown in Tsem Rinpoche’s earlier video on why can’t high lamas bind Dorje Shugden if he is an evil spirit, it is clear that the CTA does not know what they are talking about. If the CTA is unsure and unclear about what they are talking about, they should not issue official statements to confuse people. They should lift the ban on Dorje Shugden based on the falseful logic immediately as it is divisive and causing disunity among the Tibetans.

The Tibetan Leadership made statement that practice Dorje Shugden is to break your refuge vows. You will be sent the Three Lower Realms. According to the Buddha’s teachings, the refuge vows are the root vows. If you break your refuge vows it means you also break all vows including novice and full-ordination vows, Bodhisattva vows and Tantric vows. Under such circumstances, you cannot achieve attainments. This is one part that caught my attention. The root guru of the Dalai Lama was Trijang Rinpoche who previous life was a Dorje Shugden practitioner. Is that means Trijang Rinpoche broke his Refuge vows, Bodhisattava vows and Tantra vows? If that’s so, there will be no incarnation for this life. The fact is Dalai Lama himself recognized and approved Trijang Rinpoche incarnation. Secondly, whatever Trijang Rinpoche gave to the Dalai Lama is also broken, not relevant, not powerful, has no blessings and impure? Does that means the Dalai Lama has been spreading teachings from a spirit worshipper? All this doesn’t make sense at all. The statement made by Tibetan Leadership that Dorje Shugden is a spirit, and will sent you to the Three Lower Realm is clearly BASELESS and RIDICULOUS. Out of compassion Tsem Rinpoche gives teachings, knowledge and information about Dorje Shugden because no one should suffer from religious practice and all these sufferings have to come to an end. There are solid proofs from countless great lamas who holding strong on their Dorje Shugden practice, they have been incarnate life after life and Dalai Lama recognized and approved them.

Nechung has been proven over the past sixty years that his predictions through the oracle has been wrong. Nechung gave wrong advice to HH the Dalai Lama to remain in Tibet while Dorje Shugden told HH the Dalai Lama to flee Tibet. Dorje Shugden’s advice was accurate and saved HH the Dalai Lama’s life since then. The thing the puzzles me is HH the Dalai Lama has kept Nechung as the State Oracle of the CTA and invoked in all state affairs yet neither of his predictions came through. While this was going on, Dorje Shugden, for the last 400 years has continued to assist and help those who are destitute yet he was banned by the CTA. It is time for all Tibetans to wake up, listen to the illogical reasons behind the ban on Dorje Shugden. Even more so now when an elective Tibetan MP Tenpa Yarphel spoke up against Nechung recorded live in the Parliment.
Thank You, Rinpoche for making this powerful explanation with logic touching on the topic of Dorje Shugden and the 3 Realms and why would one will not go to the 3 Realms by practising Dorje Shugden. They are many ways to be reborn into 3 lower realms but I believed by practising Dorje Shugden is certainly not a way to achieve that, especially after the course of 400 years and yet Dorje Shugden is still one of important Dharma Protector practice especially in Gelug tradition. With so many High Erudite Masters who practice Dorje Shugden then and now being reincarnated over again and again, what other proofs do we need in order to say that you will not go to 3 Lower Realm by practising Dorje Shugden simple because Dorje Shugden is not a spirit nor evil. Some of the High Reincarnate Master even recognised by the Dalai Lama himself. Why would a High Master such as the previous Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche which is also the teacher of the current H.H Dalai Lama be encouraging the practice of Dorje Shugden if this practice is "Evil" as proclaimed by a certain group? Just doesn't make any sense to me.
The CTA's claim of Dorje Shugden practitioners going to the lower reams was a distortion of logic and Buddhist doctrine. It was a dangerous proposition and one that wrongly lulls people into thinking that Buddhahood can be reversed because Dorje Shugden has been recognised by Sakya and Gelug master for the last few centuries, to be a Buddha. In any case, for the Dalai Lama and CTA to play politics is wrong to begin with and it is not the Tibetan leadership's right to comment which religion is right and which is wrong. Especially seeing that they are accusing China of religious oppression.
Among many others there are 6 very High Lamas who practiced Dorje Shugden in their past life have now taken a perfect human rebirth in this life to continue their works on earth to turn the wheel of Dharma - they are H.E Tsem Tulku Rinpoche, H.E Kyabje Pabongka Rinpoche, H.E Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche, H.E Kyabje Zong Rinpoche, H.E Denma Gonsar Rinpoche and H.E the 14th Dalai Lama. This alone clearly proves that practitioners of Dorje Shugden do not take rebirth in the 3 lower realms.
The CTA’s recognition of various Dorje Shugden practitioners is directly contradicting their ‘advice’ to abandon Dorje Shugden practice and practitioners. This contradiction is so obvious yet it is still alive where many continue to believe because the CTA has been successfully camouflage it with various tricks such as the poor refugee status, suppression, HHDL’s long life threat etc. The CTA is obnoxious for being contradictory, corrupted and backward. Although Lobsang Sangay has a PhD from Harvard, he is against religious freedom, human rights and democracy. He governs the Tibetans with dictatorship and controls Tibetans instead of educating them and provides opportunities for them to grow. The hypocrisy and forever distracting the public from the real issues cannot be tolerated. The fact that they recognize the reincarnations of various Dorje Shugden people is an obvious truth that the practise do not bring you to lower realms. The CTA has to stop making this an issue and address the real and much bigger problem which is their failure in managing the small population of Tibetans in exile and loosing their country that are fundamentally caused by greed, selfishness and laziness.

As a Dharma practitioner what do we learn from the holy teaching is kindness and compassion so all these high lama who convey any teaching or empowerment it must be genuine because is their responsible that make sure all their teaching is correct otherwise whoever who practice this teaching will not bring any benefits to them so how could possible that by practicing Dorje Shugden one will go to lower three realm that is impossible and illogical , hence no way Dorje Shuden is a spirits and his practice is genuine .

I am born buddhist,we knew bout Dalai Lama(though H.H and he's good in his belief and theory) and his political tantra practies even messed up wid several himaliyan buddhism practice we lost our buddhism heritage,example Bonpo various and even messed up wid Chetral Khyabzi Rimpoche,Were is the monestry of were they practice theory of Dorje Sugden?may i know which gelopa school of buddisim(6:51) u mentioned rempoche🙏🙏
According to dalailama.com, the ways to recognize reincarnations are as follow:- After the system of recognizing Tulkus came into being, various procedures for going about it began to develop and grow. Among these some of the most important involve the predecessor’s predictive letter and other instructions and indications that might occur; the reincarnation’s reliably recounting his previous life and speaking about it; identifying possessions belonging to the predecessor and recognizing people who had been close to him. Apart from these, additional methods include asking reliable spiritual masters for their divination as well as seeking the predictions of mundane oracles, who appear through mediums in trance, and observing the visions that manifest in sacred lakes of protectors like Lhamoi Latso, a sacred lake south of Lhasa. When there happens to be more than one prospective candidate for recognition as a Tulku, and it becomes difficult to decide, there is a practice of making the final decision by divination employing the dough-ball method (zen tak) before a sacred image while calling upon the power of truth. Therefore these reincarnations which Rinpoche mentioned in the video, are unmistaken because the Dalai Lama himself is the reliable spiritual master who approved the recognitions of these tulkus who practiced Dorje Shugden in their previous lives. The big question mark is, why recognised these reincarnation who reincarnate back into the human form if “they should have gone to the three lower realms” according to CTA? On one side, the Central Tibetan Government (CTA) said, if you practice the Dorje Shugden deity, you will go to the 3 lower realms. This was one of the basis CTA used as a reason to ban the Dorje Shugden practice. At the same time, CTA also "said" through their actions of recognising individuals who came back to the human realm after practicing Dorje Shugden in their previous lives, that Dorje Shugden practice does not bring DS practitioners to the lower realms. Contradiction and inconsistent statements usually happen when truths are bend accordingly to suit their own agenda. So what is CTA’s real agenda? Why ban the practice saying it’s bad and at the same time “approve” the practice? Whatever the agenda, there are LIVING PROOF that people do not go to the three lower realms from practicing Dorje Shugden, hence CTA should stop using this reason to “advise” (to put things mildly) against Dorje Shugden practice.
People who practice the Dharma protector Dorje Shugden are good Buddhist, we promote peace and love. We deserve the freedom of practising any religion we want. Those who keep attack others, haters and schismatic peoples are to watch out.

H.E. Tsem Rinpoche has, with logic and proof, debunked the claim that Dorje Shugden practitioners go to the three lower realms. His Eminence has also, with respect and humility, requested H.H. the Dalai Lama to remove the stigma against Dorje Shugden and accept the Dorje Shugden people, because “they are people too and they deserve compassion and they are Tibetans too.” I see the logic in Rinpoche's reasoning and understand the reasons given. Therefore, I strongly support H.E. Tsem Rinpoche’s appeal to the Tibetan leadership to remove the ban. May His Holiness and the Tibetan leadership (CTA) remove the ban on Dorje Shugden for the sake of unity of the Tibetan people.
I clearly understand that the purpose behind all this negative publicity is to destroy the NKT and the practice of Dorje Shugden in the west. The reputation of the NKT and of Dorje Shugden practitioners in the west has been severely affected because people believe these statements, which are simply lies.

Yes, I agree that these negative publicities have in fact gave rise to discrimination, segregation and disunity among practitioners in within Tibetan community and outside of it. However, I don’t think the word “destroy” is appropriate. Somehow, the chaos has helped to make this practice more well known than ever and also for those who has firmed faith in this practice, it shows how strong their faith is in the Guru and their Dharma practice. I find this in my self with no teachings of no one ... This is true ... Emotions feelings thoughts your soul intelligent emotional energy will be attracted to a source you belong depending on who you are good or bad depends on the moment of death.
What Rinpoche is teaching is the fundamental principle of Buddhism why Dorje Shugden people do not go to the three lower realms and it serves as a powerful knowledge to all especially people who have been mislead by the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA). Dorje Shugden practice is a 400-year old tradition and evidenced by many Lamas practising Dorje Shugden they have reincarnated life after life in the human form to benefit the world.
Besides that, due to these Shugden Lamas, who have worked hard in preserving the Dharma. we can see that Buddha Dharma is once again flourish all over the world. Hence, Dorje Shugden does not harm as claimed by the CTA.
I was at retreat with Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche years ago. I remember he said not to practice Dorje Shudgen, because Shudgen is not enlightened and makes problems to peoples, who stop making offerings to him.
It is standard practice in this world at this time that everything real and true and ACTUALLY of a Divine Nature is rejected and suppressed. Dorje Shugden is EXACTLY the same 'figure' as the 'rider on the whole horse' spoken of in the Christian Book of Revelation.
Lama kyenno!!!! I have so much respect for Rinpoche. I'm an American and found the holy Buddha's Dharma through him and Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche. I don't practice Dorje Shugden yet, but not because I fear the prohibition of HH or the Tibetan government, but because I primarily propitiate Devi Sarasvati and her wrathful emanation Palden Lhamo, and haven't received Dorje Shugden from a lama yet. I hope to make a pilgrimage to KFR one day! I rejoice in Rinpoche's infinite compassion and enlightened activity and pray and cry regularly that he return swiftly so I can finally meet him.

Very logical presentation of facts. Thank you Tsem Rinpoche. Thank you for speaking up against this injustice when so many people are afraid to take a stand against the Dalai Lama and his government. Most people do not know that simply having an opinion which is different to the Dalai Lama makes one an enemy, especially if your are someone who is in Tibetan Buddhism. I have seen how you have been abused over the years for speaking up and yet you continue to do so. Please keep going stronG Rinpoche.
I thank Rinpoche for his supreme logic, for one is if one has broken one's refuge views by relying on a spirit then that person would have never come back in a perfect human form. Yet all the high Lamas of the Gelug tradition and known Dorje Shugden practitioners returned again and again.Not only that, the fact that the CTA, tried to recognize other persons as Domo Geshe shows you that the CTA themselves do not believe practicing Dorje Shugden leads one to the lower realms.
Thank you Rinpoche for sharing very important facts to denounce the myth that by praying to Dorje Shugden (DS) one will fall into the 3 lower realms. In addition to the many names of high lamas who have relied upon DS and have returned back to continue teaching and spreading the dharma (as a high lama), the fact about His Holiness Kyabje Trijang Dorjechang, the Junior Tutor of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama practiced Dorje Shugden, again till the end of his life. According to the Tibetan leadership, this means that the Dalai Lama’s own tutor died a spirit worshipper and therefore, according their basis for banning the practice, Trijang Rinpoche should have taken rebirth in the three lower realms. So why then is the Dalai Lama himself recognizing the reincarnation of his teacher, Trijang Chocktrul Rinpoche?
Thus it appears the Tibetan’s Exile Government attempt to brainwash and frighten its own people into avoiding DS and demonising DS is done on a basis which is unfounded and illogical.
It is also interesting that Rinpoche had mentioned that His Holiness Kyabje Trijang Dorjechang had predicted that the Dalai Lama and Dorje Shugden are in conflict with each other to the ordinary eye, through the conventional sense and through conventional observation. But ultimately, it is about the expansion of the Buddhadharma.
Though one who takes refuge in DS may be in conflict with the Dalai Lama and Central Tibetan Administration decision on DS, one must still maintain high respect and gratitude to HH the Dalai Lama and to request with folded hands to HH, : as our mere mortal minds cannot see nor understand exactly why such conflict exist between HH and DS, we can still respectfully request HH to lift the ban and negative perception on DS because many have been suffering due to the segregation and prejudice (and sometimes even violence ) held against all who take refuge in DS.
Thus with folded hands we bow to HH and request in your great compassion please lift the ban and negative perception on DS so that harmony may reign, fellowship restored and peace of mind for the masses who have been living in fear all these years, just because they chose to follow the Guru who blessed them with Dorje Shugden and were exercising their fundamental right to freedom of religion.
Thank you, Tsem Rinpoche for sharing such logical thoughts for people to think more regarding the "reason" behind the BAN of Dorje Shugden. It's unnecessary and causing harms to innocents. There is no one reason that the CTA give is making sense.

This is a wonderfully direct and logical discourse on the failings of the ban. This is precisely what we need right now to lift the ban because people need logical conclusions especially for the masses out there. Most people are just ordinary people who are on the periphery of Tibetan Buddhism looking in and trying their best to make sense of this whole Shugden ban and deciding why the Buddha’s teachings on wisdom and compassion has degenerated into a ban on a religious practice.
Even the very basis of the ban does not hold water and while logical conclusion about the enlightened nature of the ban is very concrete and actually replete with proof that Dorje Shugden is indeed enlightened. I love how rinpoche actually dissected the explanations of a spirit and of how great lamas of the past and present who relied on Dorje Shugden are not wrong and not only that, they have successfully taken rebirth.
Furthermore, the hypocrisy of the Tibetan government for enshrining the Shugden ban within the Tibetan charter specifically mentioned the ban on Dorje Shugden. The Tibeta government identifies itself as a democratic state but where does the Shugden ban fit into the scheme of things? it does not. There is no basis and in fact, it gives us logical basis to conclude not in favor of the removal of the ban.

Here are a few points that should be painfully obvious to all:
1) the number of Dorje Shugden practitioners listed above. The lamas listed above are just a handful of practitioners to rely on Dorje Shugden. There is them, and there are the countless other practitioners over the last 400 years since Dorje Shugden arose as a Dharma Protector. There are thousands upon thousands of undocumented, non-ranking, ordinary practitioners who relied on Dorje Shugden too. who were not listed in Rinpoche’s poster above.
According to the CTA, all of these lamas went to the lower realms. 400 years’ worth of practitioners ended up in the lower realms. What I would like to ask is this - how come all of the previous Dalai Lama’s never did anything to stop it over the last 400 years and instead allowed so many people to end up in the three lower realms? How come the 5th Dalai Lama created a chapel to him, thereby encouraging people to worship him? How come the 11th Dalai Lama enthroned him as a protector? How come the 13th Dalai Lama relied on him for advice and how come the 14th Dalai Lama composed a praise to him?
If what the CTA says is true, and Dorje Shugden people end up in the three lower realms, how come all of the previous Dalai Lama’s not only failed to stop the practice, but in some cases encouraged and promoted it? So the CTA recognizing Dorje Shugden lama reincarnations isn’t the only hypocritical thing; the fact is that is Dorje Shugden practice is really so bad, the previous Dalai Lama’s would not have let it get this far.The fact Dorje Shugden practice got this far can only mean one of three things: (a) there’s actually nothing wrong with Dorje Shugden and he’s an enlightened being and that’s why they encouraged the practice - OR - (b) the previous Dalai Lama’s had no compassion and that’s why they allowed Dorje Shugden practice to become so prevalent - OR - (c) the previous Dalai Lama’s and all the other high lamas in Tibet had and have no power to stop a so-called spirit.Which one is it?2) the calibre of the Dorje Shugden practitioners listed above. These were not ordinary householders or normal beings who relied on Dorje Shugden as a protector. These were learned, studied monks who could choose from a pantheon of protectors, and yet they chose Dorje Shugden and spread it to their students. Is the Tibetan leadership saying they singularly know more about religion and Dorje Shugden practice, than all of these lamas put together?
The fact is that the CTA cannot stop this wave of truths going out into the world. I really am thankful that Rinpoche has started doing these live stream videos because I know they will go a long way to clearing up the misconceptions people have about Dorje Shugden practice. Thank you Rinpoche for this profound teaching. Rinpoche had gave a very clear explanation, logical, facts and examples that Dorje Shugden people do not go the three lower realms.
Rinpoche has given a very clear explanation on the Refuge Vows and it is very important to holding our refuge vow very well because it is the basis of gaining attainments from our meditational practice on tantra. Without holding the refuge vow correctly, it like a house without the foundation and everything will be collapse or everything is gone. The rules of thumbs of refuge vow is guru, we take refuge to the guru, without the guru, there is no Dharma and guru is on top of everything. Guru is the only person gave us teaching, guidance and practice based on Buddha’s teaching. So Rinpoche has shown to all of us what is spiritual integrity. A promise is a promise and we should never gave up.
Rinpoche has share with us that there are so many lamas practicing Dorje Shugden so it’s not like CTA claimed that it is just a minor practice. Regardless how many people are practicing the Dorje Shugden, CTA has no right to ban people practicing it. If CTA claims they are democratic, they should give the Tibetan people the freedom to believe, religion, practice, speech and choice of living. By openly degrade and discourages the practices of Dorje Shugden in the website like Tibet.net and DalaiLama.com, it is discriminate and create more harms to the their own Tibetan people. This is not democratic.
There is so many lamas who practiced Dorje Shugden do not go to the three lower realms, they are even reincarnated back as high lamas. It is clearly and obviously show to everyone that the Dorje Shugden people do not go to the three lower realms. Furthermore, the Tibetan Government did recognizing the reincarnation of those lamas who engaged in the practice. The very good example is Trijang Rinpoche. Tibetan government is contradict themselves.
With folded hands, I appeal to His Holiness Dalai Lama to lift the Dorje Shugden ban immediately. Let’s all the Tibetan people are united to be peace and harmony.
I think your case has been fully sustained in this argument. Logical, clear, correct. There is no doubt about it.
This powerful teaching clearly explains the causes for being a spirit. This is clearly not the case for Dorje Shugden who is practiced by many high lamas who surely would not be cheated by a spirit.
So many high lamas have practiced Dorje Shugden and have reincarnated and are recognised also by the Dalai Lama such as cited by H.E. Tsem Rinpoche. So it makes no sense to say they go to the three lower realms and it contradictes itself. So many high lamas have been reincarnated and recognised and some have been cited here in the teaching. I really rejoice for H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche’s clear explanations on the illogical ban so that everyone understands what is going on.
I hope that these teachings get seen by many people so that everyone understands what is happening to the Dorje Shugden practitioners and lamas worldwide. I hope that all Tibetans unite very soon and that HH the Dalai Lama ends this painful conflict very soon.

Over past 400 years many erudite masters practices Dorje Shugden practice had proven their attainment and if this protector practice is harmful I don’t think it will take such a long time for HH Dalai Lama now to encountered and to stop this practice. I strongly believe the great master during those days would have the attainment to see and definitely stop this practice from harming anyone instead of passing it down up today.
Dorje Shugden never been an issue until the Tibetan leadership use it as a scapegoat for causing His Holiness short life and affect Tibetan cause. This baseless claimed causes so much suffering to many people in many level. No government would interfere anyone spiritual practice and in order to bring peace and harmony the leader would respect and allow freedom for unity. Tibetan leadership using spiritual to control their people is really a bad strategy and it should not exist at this time anymore.

Dorje Shugden practitioners do not enter into lower realms just because we practice Dorje Shugden. There are tons of Highly attained masters who are the best of the best such as Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche and Kyabje Zong Rinpoche has reincarnated back into human form and also back into the monastery. This already debunked what CTA said about DS practictioners will enter into the lower realms. This shows how immature CTA is in their logic thinking and how they think they can manipulate the people with statements that has no basis. What Tsem Rinpoche had explained in this video is very direct and easy to understand.
This is a very powerful teaching. This video will definitely shake the world and open up many people’s mind. I humbly thank my guru H.E. the 25th Tsem Tulku Rinpoche for clearing the doubt to those who had blindly believed on what was told by HHDL and CTA.
It’s 21 century now. We do not just believe without questioning. All the sufferings can be avoid if everyone take a step forward and think deeper.
Why is CTA using religion to confused Tibetan? People are sufferings due to the ban. Families were split and being forced to give up their practice by CTA. All Buddhists in the world are confused because they were being told cannot associate with Dorje Shugden people. Millions of Dorje Shugden practitioners all over the world, were not allowed to enter many dharma centres and temples who do not practice Dorje Shugden. Hence, is that means, Dorje Shugden practitioners not allowed to have Dharma? Then why in our everyday prayer we dedicate to all sentient beings?
After all, Lord Buddha taught us to practice compassion and wisdom not discrimination. No religion should practice discrimination.

Rinpoche’s talk is very clear and concise in highlighting how CTA contradict themselves and how the allegations of Dorje Shugden do not make sense.
1) CTA supports the allegation by HH the Dalai Lama that Dorje Shugden practitioners take rebirth in the 3 lower realms. However, they recognize lamas who practiced Dorje Shugden in their previous life. They contradict themselves openly.
2) Many reincarnate lamas used to practice Dorje Shugden in their previous lives. They continue to reincarnate till this day. Many of them are elite Buddhist masters. They didn’t reincarnate into the 3 lower realms.
Conclusion is that people who practice Dorje Shugden do not automatically go to the 3 lower realms. The allegations are proven WRONG.
It is with great compassion that Tsem Rinpoche publically requested HH the Dalai Lama to announce the lifting of the ban on Dorje Shugden for the sake of thousands of people who are suffering tremendously as a result of this illegal ban. It would be interesting to see how much longer HH the Dalai Lama remains quiet because HH travels the world every year promoting peace, compassion, and religious harmony. It is important for people to know that the basis of the ban against Dorje Shugden practice - the accusations and the claims that Dorje Shugden is a spirit practice is false.
Rinpoche has mentioned one very important point that if Dorje Shugden is indeed a spirit like what the Tibetan leadership in exile are claiming, then, why all the high lamas who practiced Dorje Shugden in the previous lives came back in perfect human forms and being recognized by the Tibetan leadership, the very party who said that practicing Dorje Shugden will bring the practitioners to the lower realm. By recognizing these lamas, the CTA have negated their own claim that Dorje Shugden is a spirit. What an oxymoron!

Many of us and out there need to watch and learn more about this. Tsem Rinpoche is gave so logical explanation on this live stream. Many great masters of the past and present have practiced and are still practicing Dorje Shugden.
Dorje Shugden practice since Sakya time, how can CTA talk illogical to public and want them to believe? This is impossible! Over 100 High lamas practicing Dorje Shugden and still reincarnated to benefit others.
CTA stop criticism, discrimination and segregate Dorje Shugden practitioners.
Rinpoche has presented very clearly and precise that by practising Dorje Shugden, sentient beings does not goes to lower realm, as Dorje Shugden has been practice by great lamas, and great lamas have reincarnated and return to samsara, again and again, to help all sentient beings, and that will shows that this lamas have great attainment by practicing Dorje Shugden.

Just as Trijang Rinpoche said before, “In order for someone to become convinced that Dorje Shugden was a worldly spirit “A mountain of absurd consequences, previously non-existent distorted ideas, would have to be accepted.” Here Tsem Rinpoche presented hundreds and names of high lamas who practice Dorje Shugden, some have been practicing since their previous lifetimes, and still reincarnate and continue the practice. What better evidence do we need to be convinced that practicing Dorje Shugden is not harmful, let alone resulting in the three lower realms? “mountain of absurd consequences” indeed.
Very interesting, logical facts. What Rinpoche presented shows that, first, Dorje Shugden practice is not a minor practice. How can it be a minor practice when some of the highest, most eminent lamas across different schools practiced it? How was the lineage holders, whom many of us have received teachings, instructions and practices from, not been able to see who Dorje Shugden is? If Dorje Shugden is spirt worshipping, then these lamas would all have broken their vows, collected heavy negative karma, and even more so by having their students/disciples practice Dorje Shugden. Nobody since 400 years ago, would have shown attainments, but yet, over the past 400 years, we have learn, seen, read about the many miracles performed by lamas/monks/disciples; whom also practiced Dorje Shugden.
The Central Tibetan Administration is a political, governmental body, and should not interfere with religious affairs. Why would they not focus on doing their works for the betterment of lives, which the Tibetan populace greatly needs? For the amount of resources they had spent in demonising Dorje Shugden, Ds lamas and practitioners, they could have instead used it for purposes of education, health, growth, umaylam, etc - these are the very reasons why the kind donors gave them money to do so, not to use the donations to split their people and create disharmony.
What Rinpoche presented here makes sSO MUCH SENSE!. How come all the high lamas who practiced Dorje Shugden have incarnated back? AND MOST IRONIC, how come, HHDL and the Tibetan Administration, recognises these lamas when they (according to them) should have gone to the 3 lower realms for spirit worship? They should actually be praying for, showing compassion to these lamas, and not recognising them, if we think about the logic and arguments they used to validate the Dorje Shugden ban. It makes their views, opinions, and what the reasons they use against DS very illogical, and contradictory.
There has been so much evidence produced in this blog to show that Dorje Shugden is not a spirit worship, nor a minor one, nor does his practice harm the Tibetan cause. HHDL, please lift the ban on Dorje Shugden, because there should be no reason to ban this.

There are so many great masters relied on Dorje Shugden, and now they have reincarnated in perfect human body form and continue their previous life's dharma works for the benefit of others.Even some of the senior monks are practicing Dorje Shugden for over 70 years and they have no intention to give up the practice as to hold guru devotion strongly and believe in Dorje Shugden.

Very insightful and powerful video by His Eminence. The Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) over the decades have made quite a huge number of untruthful statements in regards to Dorje Shugden, misleading people to believe that he is a spirit, he is the reason why Tibet loss their country and it is absolutely not the CTA’s fault why they loss their own country.
The Dorje Shugden practice on its own was never an issue until the Tibetan leadership decided to make it into an issue. In Tibet itself, there are quite a few religions/ practices that co-exist within the society. For example, Buddhism, Muslim, Christian, Hindu, Bon and etc. All the respective followers of each sect/ religion/ practice have the freedom to whichever religion they believe in, there’s no problem at all.
The only ‘problem’ now is that Dorje Shugden is being used as a scapegoat for the CTA’s failure, so they can justify the fact why after six decades, they still cannot get their country back. They like to blame China for taking over Tibet but if you really think about it, it’s illogical. How can you blame someone for being more capable and powerful than you are? They are powerful because they work for it. Instead of blaming China for the past six decades, the Tibetan leadership should instead initiate something, expand, contribute and prove themselves fit to run Tibet. But unfortunately, that has not been realised.
One of the things that the CTA like to do is blame their failure on something else so they do not have to hold any responsibility, this is a common trend within the Tibetan society. Remember, Dorje Shugden practice was never an issue until the CTA made it into one.
The CTA lie to the public and they have been telling people that Dorje Shugden followers/ worshippers will go to the three lower realms for worshipping a demon. That is absolutely a nonsensical lie! What about H.H Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche? H.H.Kyabje Pabongka Rinpoche, H.H.Kyabje Zong Rinpoche, Lama Yeshe, Kyabje Denma Gonsa Rinpoche and many others high lamas? They all practised Dorje Shugden in their previous lives, and all of their undisputed incarnations have been found and confirmed by His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama together with the Dorje Shugden oracle. So why didn’t they go to the three lower realms? Don’t you think that the CTA are lying? Who actually knows how much more they are lying and hiding away from the people?
Thank you Rinpoche for these precise and logical arguments to convincingly show that Dorje Shugden people definitely do not go to the 3 Lower Realms. Indeed hundreds of great Shugden Masters,over the years,have taught so many students and passed Dorje Shugden practice to them. These great Shugden Masters have reincarnated. The most incredible evidence of their return is that they were recognised by Dalai Lama and the Tibetan Leadership!The 10th Panchen Lama, a great Shugden practitioner 's reincarnation came back. The 11th Panchen Lama was also recognized by the Tibetan Leadership!

Thank you Rinpoche for this very powerful, straight to the point and logical explanation of why the DS practitioners will not take rebirth in the three lower realm.
What strikes me are:
1. If DS is a spirit, those lamas who practise DS will never be able to come back in human form. Buddha said before if Buddhists take refuge in spirits, they will take rebirth in the three lower realms.
2. If DS is truly a spirit like what Dalai Lama and CTA are claiming, then why do they still recognise the reincarnation of DS Lamas? For example, Zong Rinpoche, Trijang Rinpoche, Lama Yeshe, Domo Geshe Rinpoche. So is CTA lying when they say DS is a spirit? Why does CTA do that?
3. Are the Tulkus who in their previous lives practised DS recognised by Dalai Lama real? If they are real then the claim they made about DS being a spirit will not stand anymore.
4. By saying DS is a spirit it will makes the teachings of the lamas invalid. So many Gelug great masters are or were strong DS practitioners so their teachings are wrong?
All the points raised by Rinpoche are absolutely logical, it is hard to refute.

Tibetan Leadership (CTA) is accountable for the misconceptions and wrong views about how spirits arose. Those opponents who had listened to CTA and defamed Buddha Dorje Shugden as a spirit will end up with heavy negative karma! CTA had tarnished and caused a disrepute of Tibetan Buddhism. Why do Tibetans still rely on CTA who is an irresponsible and ignorant leadership?
I learnt that it’s karma which determines where or which realm we are going after death. For example, spirits are basically people who has very strong attachment, hatred or desire. Usually these type of people will go to 3 lower realm, of course there are many other causes for us to be reborn in 3 lower realms, such as killing.
Speaking of practising Dorje Shugden and it causes us to be reborn in 3 lower realm never made sense to me. On the basis of Dorje Shugden himself is an enlightened being, by reciting his mantra and doing his pujas, which suppose to heal and protect people, it was twisted to something opposite is purely a joke. As mentioned, there are hundreds of High Lamas or respected teachers who relied on Dorje Shugden have taken rebirth as human to continue to benefit people.
For instance, the 11th Panchen Lama who just had a Kalachakra initiation in Shigatze, over 100,000 attended included over 5000 monks and nuns and 100 incarnated lamas and teachers. If Dorje Shugden practitioners like 11th Panchen Lama is wrong, then all these 100,000 people are wrong too? I personally do not think China will allow a “fake” Lama to hold such a grand religious event, as we know China is very strict in religious affair and has implemented rules and regulations to recognise real tulkus, the government does not allow anyone to spread impure teachings.

Unless one is a Dorje Shugden practitioner or read up well, it is easy to just assume what Tibetan leadership declared that Dorje Shugden is spirit worship to be true. There is a lot of prior knowledge required and even the Tibetans on the street wouldn't be able to discern the misinformation and justifications given.
No matter how it is not right to denigrate and discriminate other faith no matter how small the number of believers. It is just plain wrong. It is not compassion. Superiority in numbers or powers doesn't automatically allows one's act to become 'compassionate'.
The information presented here is so much logical and clears many inconsistencies and confusions created by Tibetan leadership to discriminate one's belief. Hopefully with deeper thinking the misunderstanding will be clear. 🙏
When the religion is institutionalized like the CTA it is difficult for DS practitioners to uphold what CTA has outlawed. Is there not avenue for DS practitioners to appeal or request for a healthy debate with CTA . Sounds like politics is an issue here.
Thank you Rinpoche for the most incisive explanation on the false allegation by CTA on Dorje Shugden practices. First of all, CTA’s claim that practicing Dorje Shugden will send you to hell make no sense to me because they are so many masters & lamas who practiced Dorje Shugden have returned from their previous lives & still continue & promoting the practice. Just to name a few gelupa masters Kyabje Pabongka Dorje Chang Dangpo, Trijang Choktrul Rinpoche, Kyabje Zong Dorje Chang as well as the Sakya masters 35th Sakya Throne Holder Tashi Rinchen, 33rd Sakya Throne Holder Pema Dudul Wangchuk, 31st Sakya Throne Holder Kunga Lodro, 30th Sakya Throne Holder Sonam Rinchen, they all practice Dorje Shugden. What even surprising to me is that though CTA is claiming that Dorje Shugden practice will send you to the lower three realms but yet they are continuing recognizing the reincarnations of lamas who engaged in the practice? One such great lama is the 11th Panchen lama, the reincarnation of the H.H. the 10th Panchen lama who is proven to have been a Dorje Shugden practitioner. Based on the above, I find the CTA is both illogical & contradicting in claiming that Dorje Shugden practice will bring harm & result in taking rebirth in the lower realms.
However, what is real & truth is that their selfish & undemocratic regime towards the thousands of practitioners have caused nothing virtuous but tremendous suffering to the practitioners since the ban started in 1996. Hence, I am appealing to CTA to please lift the ban & end all the unnecessary suffering immediately, not to save the enlightened deity from harm but to help thousands of people from becoming outcasts.

It’s incredible how many great masters of the past and present have practiced and are still practicing Dorje Shugden. But what’s even more incredible is how many of these lamas have reincarnated once again in human form to benefit sentient beings, many of whom are recognized, acknowledged and enthroned by those who claim that Dorje Shugden is a spirit.
Doesn’t the Tibetan leadership have sufficient grounding in Buddhist principles to know that, if they claim that Dorje Shugden is an evil spirit, and that those who engage in his practice go to the three lower realms, then they should not shoot themselves in the foot by recognizing the reincarnations of Dorje Shugden lamas?
Don’t they see that by recognizing such big names as H.H. Trijang Chocktrul Rinpoche, H.H. Panchen Lama, H.E. Domo Geshe Rinpoche and many others, all they are doing is proving that their claims are false, and that Dorje Shugden is most definitely an enlightened being that we can take refuge in?
The Tibetan leadership must think that the rest of the world are either blind enough to follow their advice mindlessly, or that we are stupid enough not to see through the holes in their logic. Either way, it is clear to me that Dorje Shugden must be enlightened, and therefore it follows that the CTA must be lying about the nature of his practice for some shady ulterior motive. Why else would a “democratic” government put their reputation at risk and put up discriminative propaganda against a group of religious followers? Shame on them.
Budhism is of three branches : 1. Theravadhan as seen in Sri lanka, Myanmar, Thailand etc 2. Mahayana of China, Japan, Korea etc. 3. Vajrayana or Tibetan buddhism.
Theravadhan and Mahayana predates the Tibetan Buddhism. Theravadhan and Mahayana nevere even heard of Dorje Shugden or Dolgyal.
Vajrayana or Tibetan Buddhism have 5 sects: Kagyu, Nyingma, Sakya, Jornang and gelug. Of these five sect
Only some section of gelug follow DS (Dolgyal spirit). So you see Historically Dorje shugden followers were minority of minority since the ancient times.

Same here. I just found his channel just earlier this month and learned of his passing 3 years ago...it is amazing! I am just not understanding that why he would turn ill and gained so much weight? I watched a video when he was 40, he was very thin with a lot of energy. Nonetheless, his enthusiasm, efforts, genuine spirit, sincerity and clarity have been the same since way back when! I guess for more than 20 years, he had been an advocate for the practice of Dorje Shugden and to protect his Guru and Lineage. The whole issue about Dorje Shugden practitioners going or not going to the Three Lower Realms is indiciative of what Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche said about His Holiness aparantly having conflict with Dorje Shugden. This is an example of this conflict.
Obviously, from the evidence that Tsem Rinpoche has provided us in the wonderful teaching, it is clear that practicing Dorje Shugden does not lead you to the Three Lower Realms. So many high lamas have reincarnated back, and are even recognised by the very same Tibetan leadership that damned their previous lives to hell for the worship of Dorje Shugden. As Rinpoche said, it doesn’t make sense.
Viewed form a higher level, it is clear that His Holiness has a plan in all of his actions to ensure that the Dharma is preserved and spread. So aparantly espousing something that is contradictory must be a part of this plan. His Holiness is Avalotieshvara after all. We might not be at the level to see it yet, but even Dorje Shugden has said that he is the really and unmistaken Incarnation of the Dalai Lama. In previous lives, such as his 5th incarnation, he performed actions that may have seemed odd or contradictory at the time, such as the unification of Tibet. But in the end it made sense. Perhaps this is the same case with the practice of Dorje Shugden. Once Dorje Shugden’s name is cleared using logic, perhaps everything will be revealed to make sense.
Wonderful explanation, on an issue that has caused unnecessary division in Buddhism. The hierarchy who have banned Dorje Shugden , have only gave power to Tibet’s enemies and fractured the religion of peace and compassion .✌🏻

If we study the history of Tibetan Buddhism in the last few hundred years, we can find that Dorje Shugden is being practiced by many high lamas. If Dorje Shugden practitioners are indeed like what Tibetan leadership said, then there will not be much reincarnated lamas these days because a big population of them would have gone to three lower realms.
This is yet another case of Tibetan leadership shooting themselves in the foot again.They have made up stories and claims for their own benefits, but they are not very smart in making claims, and their claims can be easily debunked with simple logic debate. The only way for their strategy to work, is to make sure their people to be as naive as possible, but unfortunately for them, people are getting smarter and getting many information from internet instead of just information from Tibetan leadership itself.
I thank Tsem Rinpoche for such simple yet very logic reasoning to refute the false claims by Tibetan leadership. I look forward to more logic (and interesting) videos from Tsem Rinpoche!

When I first came across the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) website, I was so turn off by the section where they actually said that if you practice Dorje Shugden, you are not allowed to go of H.H. The Dalai Lama’s teachings. Seriously? I thought H H The Dalai Lama is like the most compassionate man on this earth? I do not deserve H H The Dalai Lama’s blessings? Many questions came to my mind. I thought H.H. The Dalai Lama advocate religious differences and tolerance to achieve world peace. Recently, H.H. spoke about the injustice towards the Rohinya people in Myanmar. Why doesn’t HH and CTA look at their own discrimination at their own backyard??
Tsem Rinpoche’s video was very good. It shows so many level of logical answers to why people who practice Dorje Shugden does not all go to the 3 lower realms. In fact as I am a practioner of Dorje Shugden, I am taught that I am also subjected to the law of Karma… with every action , there are consequences. I have seen and been with many Dorje Shugden Lama who has tirelessly work for others and one of them is my Guru Tsem Rinpoche…. I don’t think my Guru is going to the 3 lower realms because his action of saving / benefitting others 24/7 everyday is against the law of karma. So u save and benefit others all the time = you be reborn as a spirit / animal ? Doesn’t make sense.
I do hope many will read and watch this… in today’s world, logic explanation is important cause we deserve the truth.
I think the points that Rinpoche brought and asked is very logical and if we truly honestly ask ourselves, we would easily come to the conclusion and the answer, that practising Dorje Shugden certainly DOES NOT bring you to the three lower realms!
If seeing all the attained master incarnate back and some are even being recognised by His Holiness the Dalai Lama still does not clear one’s doubts and mind, then it is just plainly obvious that it is all just a political propaganda to persecute Shugden practitioners for whatever reasons, it definitely NOT acceptable. Definitely not acceptable if CTA claims to be a democratic administration. Definitely not acceptable.
To have pages dedicated toward discriminating another person’s religion, faith and practice is just downright not wrong if you call yourself democratic. That in itself is a breach of human rights which allows people to have freedom of religion without any discrimination. And just so the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) or those who support it does not know what is religious freedom, please read the below:
“Human rights are rights inherent to all human beings, regardless of race, sex, nationality, ethnicity, language, religion, or any other status. Human rights include the right to life and liberty, freedom from slavery and torture, freedom of opinion and expression, the right to work and education, and many more.”
So my question is has the CTA been doing this to Shugden practitioners? Has the CTA been allowing Shugden practitioners to love freely without any obstacles, hindrances and without any discriminatory issues? If the answer is YES then it would obviously be a BIG lie because then why all those anti-Shugden pages on the CTA’s official website and on His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s website? Does not make any sense. And since the CTA themselves does not respect human rights, then what they always complain about China not giving Tibetans human rights becomes invalid because they are doing the SAME to their own people and that’s just isn’t right.
Second issue and totally nonsensical is why is His Holiness recognising previous practised Shugden Lamas? Whether or not they are practising it this life does not matter, they should be in the three lower realms. How can they return and on top of that be recognised by the very person who said they will go to the lower realms? Again invalid, illogical and clearly is false. So CTA better think of better excuses to persecute your own people, because so far, they all do not make any sense. What you are doing to your people is so wrong. Tibetan should be united and be in harmony just life before, otherwise, no point asking for any autonomy from China.
The Tibetan leadership CTA has been saying that "Dorje Shugden is spirit worship". If anyone worship spirit, he/she would have broken his/her refuge vows and will go to the three lower realms. However, we have so many facts to show that many high lamas who practiced Dorje Shugden strongly such as HH Trijang Rinpoche (Tutor of HH Dalai Lama), Lama Yeshe, Domo Geshe Rinpoche, H.E. Kyabje Lati Rinpoche, etc etc, are reincarnated back and CTA has also recognised their current incarnation, CTA is just contradicting what they are saying that Dorje Shugden practice is a spirits and will go to the three lower realms.
Thank you Rinpoche for such a logical and easy to understand explanation to make us understand Dorje Shugden is not a spirit but an enlightened beings.
Thank you, Rinpoche, for this logical sharing. It clearly explains the ludicrous reason used by CTA to demonize Dorje Shugden. If Dorje Shugden practitioners go to the three lower realms as claimed by CTA, that means all the high lamas who practiced, prayed to and promoted to DS would not have reincarnated back in perfect human form to continue their work.
And on one hand, CTA claims that DS practitioners will go to the three lower realms yet, on the other hand, they fight to recognize high lama’s incarnation as in the case of Domo Geshe Rinpoche. CTA is contradicting themselves.
Coupled with the evidence shown in Tsem Rinpoche’s earlier video on why can’t high lamas bind Dorje Shugden if he is an evil spirit, it is clear that the CTA does not know what they are talking about. If the CTA is unsure and unclear about what they are talking about, they should not issue official statements to confuse people. They should lift the ban on Dorje Shugden based on the falseful logic immediately as it is divisive and causing disunity among the Tibetans.

The Tibetan Leadership made statement that practice Dorje Shugden is to break your refuge vows. You will be sent the Three Lower Realms.
According to the Buddha’s teachings, the refuge vows are the root vows. If you break your refuge vows it means you also break all vows including novice and full-ordination vows, Bodhisattva vows and Tantric vows. Under such circumstances, you cannot achieve attainments.
This is one part that caught my attention. The root guru of the Dalai Lama was Trijang Rinpoche who previous life was a Dorje Shugden practitioner. Is that means Trijang Rinpoche broke his Refuge vows, Bodhisattava vows and Tantra vows? If that’s so, there will be no incarnation for this life. The fact is Dalai Lama himself recognized and approved Trijang Rinpoche incarnation. Secondly, whatever Trijang Rinpoche gave to the Dalai Lama is also broken, not relevant, not powerful, has no blessings and impure? Does that means the Dalai Lama has been spreading teachings from a spirit worshipper? All this doesn’t make sense at all.
The statement made by Tibetan Leadership that Dorje Shugden is a spirit, and will sent you to the Three Lower Realm is clearly BASELESS and RIDICULOUS. Out of compassion Tsem Rinpoche gives teachings, knowledge and information about Dorje Shugden because no one should suffer from religious practice and all these sufferings have to come to an end. There are solid proofs from countless great lamas who holding strong on their Dorje Shugden practice, they have been incarnate life after life and Dalai Lama recognized and approved them.

Nechung has been proven over the past sixty years that his predictions through the oracle has been wrong. Nechung gave wrong advice to HH the Dalai Lama to remain in Tibet while Dorje Shugden told HH the Dalai Lama to flee Tibet. Dorje Shugden’s advice was accurate and saved HH the Dalai Lama’s life since then. The thing the puzzles me is HH the Dalai Lama has kept Nechung as the State Oracle of the CTA and invoked in all state affairs yet neither of his predictions came through. While this was going on, Dorje Shugden, for the last 400 years has continued to assist and help those who are destitute yet he was banned by the CTA. It is time for all Tibetans to wake up, listen to the illogical reasons behind the ban on Dorje Shugden. Even more so now when an elective Tibetan MP Tenpa Yarphel spoke up against Nechung recorded live in the Parliment.

They are many ways to be reborn into 3 lower realms but I believed by practising Dorje Shugden is certainly not a way to achieve that, especially after the course of 400 years and yet Dorje Shugden is still one of important Dharma Protector practice especially in Gelug tradition. With so many High Erudite Masters who practice Dorje Shugden then and now being reincarnated over again and again, what other proofs do we need in order to say that you will not go to 3 Lower Realm by practising Dorje Shugden simple because Dorje Shugden is not a spirit nor evil.
Some of the High Reincarnate Master even recognised by the Dalai Lama himself.
Why would a High Master such as the previous Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche which is also the teacher of the current H.H Dalai Lama be encouraging the practice of Dorje Shugden if this practice is "Evil" as proclaimed by a certain group? Just doesn't make any sense to me.

The CTA's claim of Dorje Shugden practitioners going to the lower reams was a distortion of logic and Buddhist doctrine. It was a dangerous proposition and one that wrongly lulls people into thinking that Buddhahood can be reversed because Dorje Shugden has been recognised by Sakya and Gelug master for the last few centuries, to be a Buddha. In any case, for the Dalai Lama and CTA to play politics is wrong to begin with and it is not the Tibetan leadership's right to comment which religion is right and which is wrong. Especially seeing that they are accusing China of religious oppression.

Among many others there are 6 very High Lamas who practiced Dorje Shugden in their past life have now taken a perfect human rebirth in this life to continue their works on earth to turn the wheel of Dharma - they are
H.E Tsem Tulku Rinpoche, H.E Kyabje Pabongka Rinpoche, H.E Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche, H.E Kyabje Zong Rinpoche, H.E Denma Gonsar Rinpoche and H.E the 14th Dalai Lama.
This alone clearly proves that practitioners of Dorje Shugden do not take rebirth in the 3 lower realms.
The CTA’s recognition of various Dorje Shugden practitioners is directly contradicting their ‘advice’ to abandon Dorje Shugden practice and practitioners.
This contradiction is so obvious yet it is still alive where many continue to believe because the CTA has been successfully camouflage it with various tricks such as the poor refugee status, suppression, HHDL’s long life threat etc.
The CTA is obnoxious for being contradictory, corrupted and backward. Although Lobsang Sangay has a PhD from Harvard, he is against religious freedom, human rights and democracy. He governs the Tibetans with dictatorship and controls Tibetans instead of educating them and provides opportunities for them to grow.
The hypocrisy and forever distracting the public from the real issues cannot be tolerated. The fact that they recognize the reincarnations of various Dorje Shugden people is an obvious truth that the practise do not bring you to lower realms.
The CTA has to stop making this an issue and address the real and much bigger problem which is their failure in managing the small population of Tibetans in exile and loosing their country that are fundamentally caused by greed, selfishness and laziness.

As a Dharma practitioner what do we learn from the holy teaching is kindness and compassion so all these high lama who convey any teaching or empowerment it must be genuine because is their responsible that make sure all their teaching is correct otherwise whoever who practice this teaching will not bring any benefits to them so how could possible that by practicing Dorje Shugden one will go to lower three realm that is impossible and illogical , hence no way Dorje Shuden is a spirits and his practice is genuine .

According to dalailama.com, the ways to recognize reincarnations are as follow:-
After the system of recognizing Tulkus came into being, various procedures for going about it began to develop and grow. Among these some of the most important involve the predecessor’s predictive letter and other instructions and indications that might occur; the reincarnation’s reliably recounting his previous life and speaking about it; identifying possessions belonging to the predecessor and recognizing people who had been close to him. Apart from these, additional methods include asking reliable spiritual masters for their divination as well as seeking the predictions of mundane oracles, who appear through mediums in trance, and observing the visions that manifest in sacred lakes of protectors like Lhamoi Latso, a sacred lake south of Lhasa. When there happens to be more than one prospective candidate for recognition as a Tulku, and it becomes difficult to decide, there is a practice of making the final decision by divination employing the dough-ball method (zen tak) before a sacred image while calling upon the power of truth.
Therefore these reincarnations which Rinpoche mentioned in the video, are unmistaken because the Dalai Lama himself is the reliable spiritual master who approved the recognitions of these tulkus who practiced Dorje Shugden in their previous lives.
The big question mark is, why recognised these reincarnation who reincarnate back into the human form if “they should have gone to the three lower realms” according to CTA?
On one side, the Central Tibetan Government (CTA) said, if you practice the Dorje Shugden deity, you will go to the 3 lower realms. This was one of the basis CTA used as a reason to ban the Dorje Shugden practice. At the same time, CTA also "said" through their actions of recognising individuals who came back to the human realm after practicing Dorje Shugden in their previous lives, that Dorje Shugden practice does not bring DS practitioners to the lower realms.
Contradiction and inconsistent statements usually happen when truths are bend accordingly to suit their own agenda. So what is CTA’s real agenda? Why ban the practice saying it’s bad and at the same time “approve” the practice? Whatever the agenda, there are LIVING PROOF that people do not go to the three lower realms from practicing Dorje Shugden, hence CTA should stop using this reason to “advise” (to put things mildly) against Dorje Shugden practice.
People who practice the Dharma protector Dorje Shugden are good Buddhist, we promote peace and love. We deserve the freedom of practising any religion we want. Those who keep attack others, haters and schismatic peoples are to watch out.

H.E. Tsem Rinpoche has, with logic and proof, debunked the claim that Dorje Shugden practitioners go to the three lower realms. His Eminence has also, with respect and humility, requested H.H. the Dalai Lama to remove the stigma against Dorje Shugden and accept the Dorje Shugden people, because “they are people too and they deserve compassion and they are Tibetans too.” I see the logic in Rinpoche's reasoning and understand the reasons given. Therefore, I strongly support H.E. Tsem Rinpoche’s appeal to the Tibetan leadership to remove the ban. May His Holiness and the Tibetan leadership (CTA) remove the ban on Dorje Shugden for the sake of unity of the Tibetan people.

I clearly understand that the purpose behind all this negative publicity is to destroy the NKT and the practice of Dorje Shugden in the west. The reputation of the NKT and of Dorje Shugden practitioners in the west has been severely affected because people believe these statements, which are simply lies.

I find this in my self with no teachings of no one ... This is true ... Emotions feelings thoughts your soul intelligent emotional energy will be attracted to a source you belong depending on who you are good or bad depends on the moment of death.

What Rinpoche is teaching is the fundamental principle of Buddhism why Dorje Shugden people do not go to the three lower realms and it serves as a powerful knowledge to all especially people who have been mislead by the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA).
Dorje Shugden practice is a 400-year old tradition and evidenced by many Lamas practising Dorje Shugden they have reincarnated life after life in the human form to benefit the world.
Besides that, due to these Shugden Lamas, who have worked hard in preserving the Dharma. we can see that Buddha Dharma is once again flourish all over the world. Hence, Dorje Shugden does not harm as claimed by the CTA.
I was at retreat with Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche years ago. I remember he said not to practice Dorje Shudgen, because Shudgen is not enlightened and makes problems to peoples, who stop making offerings to him.

It is standard practice in this world at this time that everything real and true and ACTUALLY of a Divine Nature is rejected and suppressed. Dorje Shugden is EXACTLY the same 'figure' as the 'rider on the whole horse' spoken of in the Christian Book of Revelation.
