Great vid as always pal! Congrats to Jake but I am a Tom fan at heart. Could be the start of a fantastic rivalry though and then with Ash as well, a triple rivalry! Exciting future I reckon for this amazing championship with more talent coming through all the time. Also, people say there is no contact or roughing up anymore and they’ve lost interest. Really? Look at this vid and in particular Croft and Knockhill. Fantastic on the edge door to door racing
thanks mate, 2024 surely had enough action material but it is a shame that there aren't a bit more cars. There is a feel , like for example PMR Astra seems to be too good for independent entries but lacking pace for manufacture, like there is some emptiness on the grid, not sure maybe I'm wrong
@@spevomax2 no you’re right mate there it would be nice to have the grid a bit bigger. Around 24-28 seems like a good number to me but it has certainly been quality over quantity this year. I feel like I’ve heard though that Alan Gow has opened the doors to a couple more interested teams which should be good and you never know WSR might add that 3rd BMW back (hopefully get Bobby T a full drive) and other teams may expand as well.
Sutton is leagues ahead of hill. Hill only won because he was in a BMW and he wasn't robbed by the stewards unlike Sutton and Ingram. It's easy to win if you drive in a BMW
@@sadikurrahman4833 I do feel that Ingram and Sutton are much better racers than Jake but fair play to him, him and the Laser Beamer were solid enough to bring it home this year 👍 hopefully we will have another brilliant fight for the title next year with Ash able to find more form again. Not enough form to utterly dominate though like previously!
WTCC is definitely on the plan, DTM most likely too. BTCC support series are also on my mind but will see what next. Either way I will continue doing championships by seasons and hoping to upload new videos at least once a week.
tim harvey is a joke of a man .... how stupid are they for putting tyres in front of the drivers you mean them tyres that have always been there for the past 20 years i mean how stupid tim even when you were racing tim they were there BUT HOW STUPID
I would actually love to see this championship have at least 1 or 2 street tracks. New circuits + a lot of brave drivers I'm pretty sure it would be very exciting.
@@spevomax2 in my opinion there is absolutely no place for a street circuit on the calendar. That’s not what BTCC is about at all. New circuits maybe 1 or 2 new ones. Ideally a whole new track to built in Britain but definitely not a street track for me
Brilliant season. Re kindled my love for the series😊

I've enjoyed this season, much more so than any since lockdown. Congratulations to Jake and thanks for the video Spev. 👍
Glad you enjoyed it👍
Congratulations to Jake he’s this years new champion
Some big incidents in this video!
When you're done with BTCC you could do WTCC or DTM. Just a suggestion.

@@spevomax2 OK take as much time as you need.
Great season this year I think we'll done to jake hill
Soctland is the oldest of Great Britain ?

Harvey is like a broken record about those tires, complaining every single time ... well probably ever since he become a commentator.
@@chrismurphy110 I wouldn’t say he’s a joke of a man though, that’s a bit harsh ain’t it? 🤷♂️
he's absolutely right, those tyres are dangerous and have caused big accidents in the recent past
