Fantastic! The large palette knife just works so very well with these larger size paintings. And loved how you nailed the warm leaves and warm blue sky values which contrasted nicely with the white and grey trunk. It really must feel like you are in the groove Richard, producing these and doing what you love. Great show!

Your mark making is phenomenal! So rich and interesting close up, then you zoom out enough and suddenly there's this whole picture! I need to try more with a palette knife, and loosen way, way, WAY up. Great stuff! Thanks for inspiring.
Another beautiful Painting. Those Gumtrees are such a great Subject. I like how the bright blue Sky and its Reflections in the Water correspond with the warm Grey of the Tree.
