  • My family will have appetizers for Christmas Eve this year and these are some ideas for that night. I hope you enjoy these recipes.
    Meatballs and Little Smokies
    1 bag of meatballs
    1 bag of little smokies
BBQ sauce, use how much you like
Mix all ingredients in a crockpot and heat until hot.
    Spinach Dip
10 oz. frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeeze water out
    16 oz sour cream
    1 cup mayonnaise
1 package of vegetable soup mix
Mix all ingredients together. Put in an airtight container in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours. Serve with crackers or vegetables.
    Tortilla Roll Ups
    8 oz. cream cheese, softened
    1 cup sour cream
1 package of ranch dressing mix
    3 green onions, chopped
5 flour tortillas, 8 inch size
Mix cream cheese, sour cream, ranch dressing mix, green onion until well mixed. Spread on flour tortillas and roll tortillas up. From here your can slice now, cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight and slice before serving.
    Serve with salsa.
    Hot Crab Dip
    8 oz. cream cheese
    1/4 cup grated Parmesan Cheese
    4 medium green onions, sliced
    1/4 cup mayo
1/4 cup dry white wine or apple juice
    2 tbsp sugar
    1 tsp ground mustard
1 can (6 oz) crabmeat, drained, cartilage removed and flaked (I used imitation crabmeat)
Mix all ingredients together and heat in a crockpot or oven at 350 degrees, until hot and cream cheese is melted and everything is blended.
    Serve with tortilla chips.
    Dill Dip
    1 cup sour cream
    1 cup mayo
    2 tsp dried dill weed
    1 tsp onion powder
    1 tsp garlic powder
    1 tbsp lemon juice
    1/2 tsp salt
Mix all ingredients together and put in an airtight container and refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
    Serve with vegetables or chips.
