Oh you noticed! 😂 It’s the button to cancel the indicator and I have a bad habit of pressing it all the time from when I used to live in London and indicating all the time and I was scared to leave it on! I’m trying to stop doing that 😂

Stayed in F1 years ago, no ensuite; hubby and I went to showers which opened into corridor, I finished, poked head out to see if he'd finished, nope, so so back inside and got squirted with cold water and disinfect - opening door triggered automatic cleaning! 😂 Safe trip, love your determination to live your dreams. Ref the comfort. Suggest buy a comfort saddle (or perhaps sponsership) or get some velcro and memory foam. In Australia, XT600, Sturt Highway, I ended up doing some side saddle! Enjoy your enthusiasm. You will get really shite days but that's all part of it.
Best of luck to you both and may your travels be safe. If you don’t mind a suggestion-always try to park with a slight uphill…back into the slight downhill spots. Have Lavi jump on only when the bike is pointing in the right direction. Also, I was taught to always have the bike running and in gear when tip-toeing so that if you start losing balance you can use the throttle to help get back straight up. Looking forward to the rest of your adventures!
Love the team work getting the bike out of the parking spot at lunch....I'm 6'4" and my wife is 5'-10", but her getting on and off my VStrom, or our Gold WIng is always fun, as it is for you two. Good times.

I just me a couple from Canada that made a MC adventure down to Panama from Canada. I hooked up with them as they were on their way back to Canada. Get in a habit of parking so you can ride out. One day you will be on your own and it’s hard work pushing a fully loaded bike especially if you are not on tarmac.
First thing in the morning I'v don't the wrong side of the road drive a few times. Once in USA even drove the wrong way up a dual carriageway oops. Love your low budget philosophy. You need a Larry the Lamb for your seat !!!!
yes always have to remind myself first thing to be sure 😂 Uh oh! Hopefully we will get it by the time we hit the US! Low budget is our only option so we try our best to stick with it! I will have to look up Larry the lamb maybe he can be friends with Bumblebee and the ducks 😁

Hahaa it’s funny you noticed that! It’s an old habit from living in London where I was turning left and right constantly and always needed to be sure I didn’t leave the indicator on 😂 Need to work on stopping that!
Just to make things easier for you guys, try backing into the parking spaces or back it up when you park, it makes it easier when you go to leave. It's basically a standard practice, at least here in the USA you will notice a lot of bikes are backed into spaces, it makes it easier to leave. Just thought of that watching your struggle in the parking lot to get out.
Perhaps look for a Motorcycle shop that sells AirHawk or similar style seat cushions. These are cushions that you blow up and strap onto your seat to give you more comfort. They definitely help. AirHawk are quite expensive ( nothing like the cost of a new seat though) but there are many cheaper copies available.👍
Did you like the premiere classe hotel in Dunkirk? I stayed there with the wife a couple of years ago on the way down to Paris and she hated it! 🤭 She stood on the balcony and looked longingly at the Campanile next door. 😂
Yes we did, I mean the Companile is nicer yes but it was fine at Premiere Classe, only €30 as well for the room which is already at the top end of our budget 😂
Cracking video! France is such a lovely place to drive through (haven't ridden yet). Coming back from France and into the roads outside of Dover was a massive culture shock! We spent the week in Corbie at Gites D'etang just outside. Amazing place, and lovely hosts.
Hi, next time if you have a situation like at the parking lot.... Try pushing the bike down in the front so the suspention goes in. Then when it pops back, use that momentum to roll backwards. Sometimes its even easier to drive forward for a few cm's, brake and use that to go deeper in the suspention.. Hope you understand what i mean :p

Question about your route to qualify for GWR. All other circumnavigators I’ve seen/read have had to travel in one overall direction without doubling back unless the road taken is unavoidably going in the wrong direction. So, by travelling through the U.K, you went S.E then West & then East to E.g Margate but then travelled roughly SSW to Dover. As I’ve suggested, this would not count as a circumnavigation based on others I have seen/read. Thoughts? Loving the series btw. Hope you get more followers/subscribers for this. Keep safe!

Any significant distance travelled in the opposite direction won't be counted as part of the overall total distance driven on land but as long as the total distance covered exceeds the length of the equator then it's perfectly fine to take a wiggly route or head slightly east etc. Thanks for the interest and for watching! Glad the sun is still shining. Definitely the best choice to take the back roads and see something of the country you are passing through. It always amazes me how many churches France has....even the smallest village seems to have a huge one 🤷♂️. Ride safe ✌🇬🇧

My advice: unless you're stopping and visiting Paris, skip it, you'll just get stuck in traffic, from what I've seen so far on other channels, and there's so much more to see in France countryside. and you will get used to two up parking ,, lol good trick is strong elastic band round your mirror , used to put your front brakes on when on hill or slope stops the bike moveing when you dont want it too ,,,and hotel F1 ,, never again lol

Definitely not recommended, the lights go out AND the door locks you in for the full cycle so no escape! We still laugh about it 10 years on! 😂😂😂

Yes us too we were surprised by the sizes! Almost Cathedrals in villages of less than 100! 😮 We had a lovely time heading on the backroads :)
