I NEEDED to WATCH TWICE. I LEARNED some GREAT NEW THINGS. I LOVE the COLOURS. My FATHER made a bench fir sitting and planter boxes in 1980. He was WAY AHEAD of HIS TIMING. He was born 1922 in GERMANY. WISE MAN. Could build with wood all and and thing. Wood CARVINGS FURNITURE PICTURES. Toy box. Made me a kitchen set and a doll crib when I was 5 y/o. My 3 daughter's and grandchildren slept in it. The doll crib. OH YES he made me a chalkboard 1960. I had years and years of FUN DRAWING and mathematics too. I LOVE my FATHER. He is the BEST. MOM TOO. CHOW
I literally watched the whole video, screenshot the before and after moments at the end, saved video to my favorites folder, hit Like, subscribe, and the bell... This video was perfect in every way. Now time to attempt to recreate what I just learned❤
Hallo, es ist immer wieder erstaunlich, was Sie tun. Sie sind sehr sehr kreativ. Was Sie aus manchen Orten machen:-)). Man möchte sofort, dass Sie kommen und den Garten umgestalten. Wir freuen uns immer sehr darauf ein neues Video von Ihnen zu sehen. Grüße aus Germany!
What a great video. We are just finishing out outdoor reno here in sydney. Something we've also added is inflatable furniture from the fillup club. Really comfortable and stylish
Hello, I'm writing from Virginia. I've been watching a lot of your transformations and while all have something special to take away, this one is my favorite. The contrast of dark and wood really draw you in. I want to make a planer bench like the one seen here. It's all so good
What a lovely tribute to the mid-century modern patio. The shed roof over the carport really helps to set the stage. This brings back so many memories. Thank you for doing your research and showing that it can still be done.
I LOVED your IDEA'S of the purple vine. I also LOVED the steal doors. LOOKS💯% BETTER BEAUTIFUL. LOVELY. RAISED BEDS ARE GREAT THANK YOU CHOW. FROM THE 🇺🇸
So I just found out you are not here in the USA....love your accent. When you show tools and materials any chance you can say if they are available in the USA OR how we could get them? Especially that screening kit, project. love it.
Congratulations Mr. Hodges, it's amazing how you can change the face of a common backward to a beautiful outdoor space for the family. Good on ya, mate. From Hinchinbrook, Liverpool.
What an absolutely magnificent transformation! Brilliant!! I love your plant choices, too! You have inspired me. I need to get rid of ugly concrete and lay down some pavers. I love the built in furniture! Everything looks so beautiful! Thank you for the fantastic video.❤❤❤🙃🙃🙃
First, the best thing about this video is the dog. Love, love, love dogs. They make everything better. This is so gorgeous and cozy! I absolutely love it, except that I'm not into rust, but that would be easy enough to tweak. The downside is that this beautiful screening system comes from China, and more and more of us are making it a policy not to buy things from there.
Just found your channel. Wow! We just moved into our home a rebuild from the California fires that has slopes front & back yards without any landscaping. We’d be happy to send you pics to use as an example for starting from the ground up if you ever need examples for new videos:)
Absolutely beautiful job! I've won several landscape design awards and this is as good if not better then most of my jobs. Mad respect from California! Cheers
How long would those slabs last with no cement underneath? Is that a good idea? Looks so much simpler than to concrete as well but wouldnt it sink over time? Great vid cheers
I know, what a bummer. Looks a great concept to build a fence. Im just trying to figure out how to incorporate a gate. Id spring for the extra money on the system just to know the measurements would always come out with no measuring and it would be spot on and so much less digging. Im in the market.
This was pretty good in terms of ideas and stuff, but why didn't you use any edibles plants? Would make a lot of sense if you're using an area like that for BBQ or outside dinning. Great video.
I would of lined the raised planters, to save on any future rot !
Great job 👍👍🇬🇧

If only I could get someone to do the same for .
I hope you ended up getting the backyard or your dreams 😇

Great job and the best part is getting the pet's approval...🙂

I love the yard improvement.
Stunning. Absolutely incredible.

@@DavidAnderson-jh4jq woooo ok thank u. That's a 2/3 of reroofing cost for me. Wow😲
Well done on the renovated patio. I enjoyed watching this video. Greetings from Everett Washington USA.

Never trust a landscape designer who doesn't love a dog.💕
Beautiful! But a question -- won't the pine in the raised beds rot since it's sitting right on the soil?
@@mfl3500 Here in Florida, we would have to take steps to protect the timber work, especially for something as elaborate as shown in the video.
Its treated to Hazard class 4 which should at least last up to 50 years.
I wish he was in the U.S. and helping me with my yard.
No! Do it yourself! Its fun. Start with your requirements. What is the yard for? Once you know the function it is easy.
What a fantastic video! You just solved a ton of the issues I've been having. Learned tons!
Speechless for this design👍
Oh I so love what you did with the space!!!! Wanna come n do mine 😊 Much Love 🤗🌹❣️🌷
That’s an amazing transformation!

What’s the budget for a project like this? It’s beautiful!

I love all of your videos. This one is too short in the final look of the job done. But nice as always. Keep up good work
LOVE this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Spot on. Looks great.
I love it!!
I love your job, I wish I can found someone who made a good job
What an amazing job 🥰💪🏾
Such a beautiful transformation!!! Also - Anyone know an oxy-shield dealer in the US? Or an equivalent? I'd like to look into it for planters.
Is there a ScreenUp equivalent in the USA? I’m looking for the fence extender version but looks like they dont sell in USA
I know, what a bummer. Looks a great concept to build a fence. Im just trying to figure out how to incorporate a gate. Id spring for the extra money on the system just to know the measurements would always come out with no measuring and it would be spot on and so much less digging. Im in the market.
I searched for about a half hour & found no equivalent to this product, sadly.
I think I found something similar that is sold at Home Depot. It is called Stratco quick screen.
What a transformation! Amazing!
Thats is so very fantastic beautiful nice relaxing
beautiful!
I am in the US and need to find an alternative to that Screen Up. Looks pretty neat.
lovely!! although I wish the rusty screen was black to match the sides of the fence instead.
This was pretty good in terms of ideas and stuff, but why didn't you use any edibles plants? Would make a lot of sense if you're using an area like that for BBQ or outside dinning. Great video.
Amazing design inspired me to do the same for our backyard garden. The sleepers, are those 200x75 or 200x100?
Very nice makeover. Love the dog.
Good job mate.
That's so amazing! It's so beautiful! I 💕 it ! 🌟
simple but well constructed and tasteful!
Fantastic job, beautiful transformation, congrats.
Amazing talent.. thanks for sharing
Amazing transformation
ADOREIIII, PERFEITO, LINDO. PARABÉNS!!!

Fantastic Design!
Love Love Love!
Well done!! Beautiful!!
how many times do you have to renew that wood?
Every spring?
Looks great. What are the dimensions of the raised garden bed/seating and the dimensions of the timbers? Thx.
