I'm glad you mention the sand flea. I use them all the time around the groins and jettys of south Jersey and I consistently out fish others with different bait
Another good vid. For any 1 wondering the blues ( & some big ones ) show in force with the moon phase in the middle of may(15th) every year like clock work.
I grew up "down-na-shore" jetty-jumpin' for stripers, weaks and blues, now I'm up in trout country in NW NJ. I'm starting to think it might be worth the 3 hour round trip a few times a month. Thanks for the inspiration. Liked and Subbed. BTW, Striper fishing now, is better than it's been in over 1/2 a century according to the old-timers and I can attest, it was rough back in the day...really slim pickings.
hey Chris I like your videos. hell I like you. I like the way you talk. you use the same words I do. same phrases. I understand you perfectly. you were kinda sparse for a while and I thought we lost you. thank god your back
After fishing inland CT most of my life, the first time I went surf casting and caught a 20" stripper 'not bad' was more 'holy cr*p! a monster!' :) Thanks for taking us fishing. Cheers.
Hey money you rock I like following you fishing adventures. Your a good fisherman and techniques are awesome. You got some good vibes bro .....I'm in California Redondo beach......we have saltwater striped bass, there hard to catch but I've hook a couple .I've used lucky craft 110 flash minnow....killer surf lure for halibut n striped bass....take a look at that lure lots of designs......any how keep up the fishing .....thanks money.....oh yeah
Money using a mechanical hook remover instead of his hands - is this a fake video?! Congrats on 100K Chris, you’ve earned everyone. That series in the Niagra Gorge in the dead of winter was epic.
congrats on your 100k. I fished the docks bayside yesterday (may 21)in Seaside Park and we got some nice Blues on topwaters. then went to IBSP and the Blues were there too, hitting on meat.( cut bunker) Stopped at Grumpys B&T and they told mr some guys were pulling in blues cut right in half.. theory is tgat might be Sharks in the water?
Great video. Do you have a link to that quick change clip you are using. would it hold a thirty pound stripper? I'd like to start using one of those for some of the fishing I do. I've been catching some good bluefish on S. W. Florida, not much longer though...
You should try crimping the barbs on some of your lures it makes unhooking less of an ordeal especially with those little blues and bass that go ballistic when you handle them. Less stress on the fish and easier of you. I’ve been doing it for years and don’t lose any more fish than when I was fishing with barbs. Just a thought, might be worth trying
Chris I need some advise today I was fishing a private 10 acre 125' deep quarry I caught a 15" LMB and on the way in it was destroyed by a striped bass about 30+ " I have fished this spot for two years never saw this guy before. Any advice on targeting it? Cut bait, chicken liver, eel ? Maybe live line trout?
Love the vids. I'm thinking about doing some surf fishing like you do, what so you recommend for a setup and maybe some baits for like lower Delaware and OC Md
an 8'-9' rod that throws up to 2oz would be a good place to start.. penn reels in the 200$ range will generally last awhile on the beaches (thats about as cheap as you'd find). maybe a tsunami shield priced at 100$ would be good too, I havent heard much about those reels. small bucktails like 1/2oz or 1oz working the beaches, could try heading to the inlet too and throwing some bigger bucktails, probably some bluefish in there. talk to your local tackle shop and see what they recommend.

Very good fisherman *Fishing* congratulations!👍🎣🐟🐠
Another great video your bluefish we here in Australia call them Tailor and the size you guys catch are huge our average is around 5 LBS And are your fish as nice eating ? Can you eat the strip Bass
the stripers are good to eat yes, they have to be 28" inches here, none of mine were big enough. I generally throw them back anyways.. I have learned over the years im much more likely to eat a cheeseburger or pizza the day after fishing than cleaning and cooking a fish I caught.
I am new to surf fishing for stripers. I plan on going out this weekend, does anyone have any advice on lures, spots, or anything else? Anything would be appreciated.
good advice.. I wasnt sure If Id catch anything this day so walked out on the beach in my boots and threw a bucktail just to test the waters.. 2 small bass pretty quick, so went and got my waders/camera and started fliming.. the rest of the day i didnt get anything else on the bucktail.. surely could have, but pretty much any small jig or plug would have worked pretty equally I think.
An SP Minnow would be fantastic. I have been catching a lot of bluefish on them this year. Just make sure you crush the barbs on the trebles, or better yet, replace them with in-line single hooks.
I'm glad you mention the sand flea. I use them all the time around the groins and jettys of south Jersey and I consistently out fish others with different bait
Very good quality for the cost. Great shipping tube that can be used for transporting the rod for trips. Highly recommend!
Love these types of videos as well as the kayak videos keep up the good work
Another good vid. For any 1 wondering the blues ( & some big ones ) show in force with the moon phase in the middle of may(15th) every year like clock work.
Keep pumping out the videos, man. Very informative and entertaining.
Always good to see you fish. Take care of yourself.

I went out this Wednesday and got my first blue of the season in the surf. About an 8 pounder. I was so hyped to get one after so long into the season
After fishing inland CT most of my life, the first time I went surf casting and caught a 20" stripper 'not bad' was more 'holy cr*p! a monster!' :) Thanks for taking us fishing. Cheers.

Went out back in Central NJ, caught only blues (8-10lbs) on a black bomber. Morning, just before tide change.
That bluefish was happy to see you. It couldn't stop wagging its tail.
the first trip was that small blue. lol
Good stuff man. I haven't had much luck down in south Jersey. Blues have been MIA
Sick vid man, been waiting for the blues as well
Nice trip. Weird to see you excited about bluefish :)

Hey, what was that flying object at the left side, see at 2:34 min?
congrats on your 100k. I fished the docks bayside yesterday (may 21)in Seaside Park and we got some nice Blues on topwaters. then went to IBSP and the Blues were there too, hitting on meat.( cut bunker)

Love the vids. This and EliasV vids are always good. Wanna try lucky craft japanese color flash minnow jerkbaits sometime.
Enjoyed the vid!! Tight lines brother!!!
Sand crabs aka "sand fleas" are big in FL too
He said elusive blue fish haha now they are every where Chris congrats on the 100k dude
Another bad ass video!! Would love to see some Kayak action. Keep up the great work.
thanks. Ive been lazy with the kayak so far this year... definitely once fluke opens up Ill be in the kayak
Great video. Do you have a link to that quick change clip you are using. would it hold a thirty pound stripper? I'd like to start using one of those for some of the fishing I do. I've been catching some good bluefish on S. W. Florida, not much longer though...
Thanks for the new vid. Taking the aircraft carrier (Hob-tandem) in the Hudson tomorrow if the bloods are in..
I have been catching blues up to 34-36" for the last couple of weeks. SP Minnows are the way to go, man. The large size, bone color.
Andrew Hayes ya I caught a 23 incher on an SP but not nine color
Nice nice nice going on my first striper mission this weekend!
good luck!
You should use a small bubble float and fish those sand fleas on a size 1/0 hook with a short trace under the float.
not seeing to many blues up in CT either yet
You should try crimping the barbs on some of your lures it makes unhooking less of an ordeal especially with those little blues and bass that go ballistic when you handle them. Less stress on the fish and easier of you. I’ve been doing it for years and don’t lose any more fish than when I was fishing with barbs. Just a thought, might be worth trying

The manasquan inlet has been packed with stripers you should take the trip
I thumbs up your videos before I even watch it. If I wasn't working so much I'd be doing the same thing you are. Cheers 🍻
Congrats on dat 100k jawn son!!!!!
Hey seamoney! I’m heading to brigantine first weekend in June. Think I have a shot at some stripers from the surf?
Love your vids!
What was that blue lure you were using I am going to cape May and I have deep sea pole so can you tell me all the ones you were using
Love the vids. I'm thinking about doing some surf fishing like you do, what so you recommend for a setup and maybe some baits for like lower Delaware and OC Md

Very good fisherman *Fishing* congratulations!👍🎣🐟🐠
Why do the Bass have stripes? Our (sea) Bass in the UK look identical in all respects, save the stripes. Some cracking fish you've caught!
Way to grind it out....love your videos😉
great video - It's been tough here in jersey / results here are pretty solid / 100k!
Another great video your bluefish we here in Australia call them Tailor and the size you guys catch are huge our average is around 5 LBS And are your fish as nice eating ? Can you eat the strip Bass

Good work my fellow jerseyian
How you like the microwave guides? Big difference?
Is that a paper clip tied on the main line? If not what is it?
Is that yo Siri lure you first used a top water or a plug
lots of bass this year . hopefully my future kids will get this experience.
more guys than ever are catching and releasing, I too hope future generations can enjoy the striped bass
Can you recommend beaches similar to this one where i can fish the surf while only getting my feet wet?
Muskies at Marsh Creek brother, whenever you are ready to go!
I am new to surf fishing for stripers. I plan on going out this weekend, does anyone have any advice on lures, spots, or anything else? Anything would be appreciated.
Fleas are the bait of choice down south for pompano
bcask61 cool
Frozen ones work too. And always use gold hooks for pomps.
I’m going to brigantine this summer any advice as what should I use as bait
You been out in the O.grove recently, any report?
Been with u since 10k
I haven't been fishing in 15ish years. I want to go 🐟
I’m goin down this weekend...recommend any lures to use of the Fairy Jetty, or surf?
Great! Thanks Tracy
Hey man great video! What beach is this? I’d love to get in on this action
What kind of swivel are you using? You don't have to lock it down?
Didn't see a swivel, but the clip is Tactical Angler. Real convenient if ya have to switch up bait often
TA clip
Thanks! Never seen it before.
Where in Jersey was that? Seaside?
100k congrats.
Keep at it! How many x have u hooked yourself while unhooking a fish?
last time I really hooked myself was probably 6-7 years ago.. only happened a couple times in my life
You should always try a bucktail jig first. One or 1.5 ounce.
good advice..
Damn
So many beautiful fishes there
Sand Fleas work great here in California too.
hello how do rig them caroilina or ....
Yeah Carolina
What state/city are you fishing in?
I’ve been wanting to sea fish for strippers and what do u think of bomber lures.
Bombers work great. Just freeline them from a bridge and read a book until a big one hits. 12" are effective.
Does it hurt their mouth?
great video
tight lines,bud
Where in jersey shore?
Yo sea is that a new camera i see?
Would an SP Minnow be a good lure to use under the conditions shown in the video?
SP's have been known to catch fish in all types of conditions.. should keep a couple in your bag, usually they work pretty well.
An SP Minnow would be fantastic. I have been catching a lot of bluefish on them this year. Just make sure you crush the barbs on the trebles, or better yet, replace them with in-line single hooks.
It's already time to catch um it the weather forecast is crap for the next 2 weeks
surf fishing 영상 많이 올려주세요 영상 너무 재미있게 잘 보고 있어요 ^^
When you gonna do a Flathead video SeaMonkey?
Ill give it a shot soon.
Sea-Money Fishing - that’s cool!
