Can you please do a video on how you test suspension, I always struggle to know what to change when the bike is doing something I don’t like and there aren’t really any good in depth videos on it. Thanks!
Idk what Jeff will think about this, but in my mind, as a rider who can adjust his suspensions himself, you gotta now a lot about suspension to be able to do that. My dad gave me his knowledge, and I can tell if i need more clicks on damping, or rebound etc, and I’m still far from knowing everything, it’s just basics. So if u want to change these settings, u better talk about it with your suspension guy, he’ll be the best person to ask to, as he also knows what’s inside your fork/shock, what’s the setup inside etc
Much appreciated! Been using my Polar for a few years and didn’t know I could get this level of functionality! 🤙 I always see my GPS and think, wow, why can’t I get lap times? 😅
Very detailed video: very nice in terms of getting lap times on a street bike track what would be the best type of external chest strap to wear under a track suit and what watches Garmin versus polar have more options for connecting to external devices..... Any suggestions on what devices are most compatible with either of those two watches?
Thank you very much for this video, it helped me a lot. Im from argentina and I have a doubt, when I use Strada, and record a segment on a circuit with the PC. When I return to the same circuit, can I use the same segment or track so I don't have to reconfigure the lap?
The Garmin GPS is also more accurate then Polar for Litpro. You get the most capability and best GPS accuracy out of the new Racebox Mini S receiver. This replaces the original receiver that was released that was basically just an aviation ADS-B receiver
What I'd really love is a way for the lap timer to consider the outlap. I'd rather start my timer on the start straight than having to start it out on the track. If the auto timer never loops back to where it starts, it wont record seperate laps.
You can actually use the early version of iwatches as well. When they changed to the always on screen they changed the GPS and that’s when it became not usable.
Great info, got one question though: When you're describing using the Strava app with another phone mfgr., you then say to connect your Strava app to your Polar or Garmin app. Can you explain?
Do you have any content related to clutch and or brake use for cornering? Im a vet rider and have created some bad habits. Ordered my lit pro/smart watch and I want to track my progress applying some new techniques. Thanks bud.
@JeffWalker, thanks for the info. I just got a M430 per your recommendation and I think I finally got it all set up thanks to your help. Can't wait to try it out Saturday.
J Walk, I enjoy watching your vids. Seeing you grow as a racer, content producer and kinda a sales rep has been pretty cool. You never really explained what happened to your SX attempt after the get off. Maybe you did and I missed it. Are you staying with outdoor? Any more GNCC races in your future. Maybe come out west again and train for outdoor by doing a few of the NGPC series races this winter. Get well, stay J Walk!
hmm damn after you saying it needs a clear view of the sky, i guess woods racing isn't gonna be so great for tracking laps with the whole, trees n stuff above us haha.

Another question, if I use the Garmin, can I also mark the lap time with a marker? thank you
