उ॒द्यन्त॑मस्तं॒-यँन्त॑-मादि॒त्य-म॑भिथ्या॒य-न्कु॒र्वन्ब्रा’’ह्म॒णो वि॒द्वान्-थ्स॒कल॑म्भ॒द्रम॑श्नुते॒ असावा॑दि॒त्यो ब्र॒ह्मेति॒ ॥ ब्रह्मै॒व सन्-ब्रह्मा॒प्येति॒ य ए॒वं-वेँद ॥ असावादित्यो ब्रह्म ॥
Meaning of mantra is as follows.
A learned brāhmaṇa who worships the rising and setting sun obtains all the blessings of the sun, and he becomes the brāhmaṇa. He who thus knows that he is Brahman is also Brahman.
My doubt about this mantra is it reflects the advaitha philosophy, but madhva philosophy is different (Brahman and athman are different).
Why such a contradiction?

Do you need to do '3x' times Narayana naama japa after the 'x' times Gayathri mantra japa? For example if we do Gayathri mantra japa 10 times, do we need to do 30 times Narayana naama japa?
