Laura: *making excuses for Finn behaving like a moron* Fiona: everything he does like this is going to kill your other child. YES FIONA 👏🏻 I know it's hard sometimes to discipline your horse or pony or accept that they're not perfect but you need to stop laughing it off when he does things that could be dangerous if Sophie was on him. He needs to learn he can't be a sassy little pony, he has a very nervous rider and he needs to learn to take care of her. If you want him to keep that spunk then he will just need to be Gabby's pony 🤷🏻♀️ I agree that you can't just rely on a drug to make him behave. I personally wouldn't have Sophie riding him at a show this year unless he makes some BIG improvements. Gabby did really well to keep her nerve today, he was being such a butt head!
i think it’s not only on him to be calm. he has a big personality. i think sophie also needs to learn how to deal with his freak outs or whatever they’re called.
Gillian Riley yes I agree Sophie needs to learn to deal with him before she shows or anything liked that ik this is a lot later and Sophie's is getting way better but I still totally agree with this
I'm with Fiona on the drug thing. You should never rely on a drug to make your horse safe. Ik Sophie wants to show her pony and you want her to be safe with Finn but if she can't show him without it it's best not to show him at all. There's always more shows though! I just think it's safer not to. I used to ride with a crazy trainer and almost all of her horses couldn't show without drugs. When she got to the high high level where she couldn't drug them, one of her horses went crazy and the trainer fell off and broke her back and couldn't ride again, only coach. I understand if it's the horses first show but it's not, and with Gabby he'd be fine without it, it's just a rider thing. I mean no hate to you guys I'm just trying to warn you. Maybe just hold off on Sophie showing him until he's ready himself. Because right now, it doesn't seem like he's ready without drugs, and that just doesn't seem fair to him. You guys shouldn't feel rushed to get Sophie showing on him, just sit back and wait for them to be ready in their own! Again, this is just advice. I don't want you guys to feel pressured into anything.💕
@Amber Puente i 100% agree. first she had stella and she was "too much horse" for her then she had storm and hes "not enough" horse for her (i know hes not hers but she rides him) and now she has finn and hes "too much horse" i just dont understand i went from a quiet quarter horse to the hottest horse ive ever rode in my life shes a paso fino mare and boy she can go with the tiniest click you give her even when its another lesson girl clicking to her horse my mare will bolt. That only happened because i switched barns and i still love that qh very much as he taught me how to trot on a non gaited horse but man he did not prepare me for a bucking bolting sassy paso mare lmao anyways i still ride her to this day and i still have trouble with her sometimes and ive been riding her for a little over a year, shes also the only horse i like to ride because the rest either wont go or are very uncomfortable lol and im perfectly fine with her bolting and rearing and bucking because its just a horses natural instinct and my point is i wasnt even a year into riding when i started riding this mare and i never gave up on her and its kinda crazy going from a quiet gelding to a sassy mare but i didnt care because i had so much fun i guess people see riding in different ways but i just think sophie either needs to just go with finn or (dont mean this in a rude way) stop riding, or also what you said try a different type of riding because finn was a western horse that liked to go so i think sophie and him would do best in western riding. sorry i tend to get off topic thats why this is so long...
I agree it’s Sophie’s mindset that will help but she just screams and is nervous she just need to stay calm and then Finn will be fine and not spicy even though it could be mush worse.
Okay, I’m not saying gabby isn’t great, but I would really love to see what finn could do with an even more experienced rider (I am talking like real high level jumper kinda person) because finn has just got so much potential. The right speed, the right energy, the right scope, I think that with an experienced rider he would jump absolutely amazing. Not to say that the girls shouldn’t ride him, j just once or twice to see what he can really do.
It’s really distressing to see how gabby yanks at his mouth, he just takes the bit & runs with it. Some quality lunging required & I don’t mean by gabby
I’m sorry, but I agree with Fiona. You are relying a lot on the Equizen. You haven’t even tried it, yet you seem very optimistic about it working. Fiona and Gabby were already working with him during this lesson, and you saw what happened. After he learned that he wasn’t going to get his way, he started to calm down and listen. So either take the time to continue doing that, or wait until he is more mature. But don’t drug him just so Sophie is able to handle him at shows. That isn’t fair to the horse or the rider😐 Just think about this, Laura. If Equizen hadn’t sent you their product, would you have still considered trying sedatives with Finn? Qiu ye Kachemov While i agree with you in regarding real drug use on horses, products like equizen are supplements and not drugs. In my years of experience most of the time they honestly do nothing but some horses may be slightly calmer in show settings with the natural stuff aboard. In no way is this a bandaid or a fix for Sophie as Finn needs way more training and probably some professional rides too, there is no harm in them using the product. People use things like this all the time and it’s the equivalent to you or I drinking some calming tea before bed. It's a vitamin supplement! Amino acids that just replenish the natural vitamins he looses when he gets stressed! I would never drug him to ride him! Trust me my friend!
Allie Talbot completely agree, if it had anything in it that could be classed as a “drug” it certainly wouldn’t be approved for competition by the FEI 😊
Again with the crazy, I'm sorry, I love y'all but he's nor crazy and it's getting annoying. He's an amazing pony with so much talent and he is amazing with Sophia.
DayByDay Vlogs Thank you for taking this the best way you could! To equestrians seeing horses like that being mislabeled is sorta irritating or worrying. Love ya! 💕
Finn: hey gabby. You know something? I can be a rodeo horse. Gabby: oh really. How? What you be? Finn: I can be a barrel horse running through alley way about 100 mph. I can also be a buck n’ bronco too Gabby: no 🤣 you can’t
I’ve been in a very similar situation as Sophie is in. I’ve been bucked off of my horse multiple times (twice I had to go to the hospital) and my confidence plummeted to the point where I didn’t ride for over a year because I was so scared (however I do have a diagnosed anxiety disorder so that was a major part of it.) Horses feed off of the riders confidence and for me it was a train wreck. But I got someone confident to ride him and I took baby steps and now we ride every day, out on the trails or in the arena or even at shows! Sometimes all it takes is for the horse to realize that they can be confident and trust the rider; and for me it really helped to see someone confident ride him and made me realize that he’s not a dangerous horse every time, he just needs direction and confidence to shine! So proud of Sophie for not giving up and still riding even when she is scared and might not want to. Love your videos and wishing you all the best 😁
I always forget to say how impressed I am with the confidence that Gabby has dealing with all the horses she rides. Nothing seems to worry her at all and she really is riding incredibly well Laura xx Well done Gabby!!! 💜
I fail to see how Finn is considered crazy. If he is crazy to you and your kids maybe he's too much because I'm just seeing a horse that needs some work.
Maybe we have different ideas what crazy means. To me it means eccentric and outgoing. Not afraid to be yourself and just go for it. If crazy to you is a bad thing than I can see why you don't understand it
So happy Gabby is keeping up with Finn’s training so that the same problems as before. Try to do them more often, maybe once a week so it doesn’t get as bad as it was today? It also looked like he had a lot of fun jumping higher instead of the itty-bitty cross rails he’s been jumping, so glad he enjoyed himself😂😂
I agree with what Fiona was saying because In the moment sophia either would’ve given up and been scared or gotten off so I still think she should ride storm. Cause finn is just a lot for her if he acts like this. But that’s just my opinion!
I think Finn just looks worse in this because he hasn’t been exercised properly for a few weeks but Finn wouldn’t do anything to Sophie and gabby is his free ticket 😂💗
Fndndjsnsmss Lol I still think that it’s not a good idea at all for Sophie to show him. If he does any of the things he does to gabby Sophie will get hurt.
I love you guys so much. Gabby is doing such a great job at helping Finn stay calm when riding so that Sophie can ride! Finn is such a good horse he just need to learn! Gabby and Sophie have improved so much this winter and Finn and Chino are bringing to settle into the barn wonderfully! Can't wait to see where you all go in riding within the next few months!🐴❤️❤️🐴
It think gabby needs to use more body language than reign because she understandably keeps a really short rein but Finn retaliates against it and sophie does the opposite witch is why they’re a good pair 💖
That is why Sophie shouldn't ride Finn, she's doesn't do anything so when she finally does something he's gonna be crazy cause he just walks for months straight.
Eliza Eventing she can ride Finn. She just needs to build her trust with him. Also, he doesn’t get crazy with her. He gets all of his crazies out with Gabby and is perfectly calm with Sophie.
I think u have a showjumper pony there! Gabby did good job on that crazy jump. Maybe teach Finn stand still while mounting with a treat? Everytime you get on, give him a treat when u get on and he is standing still. Most horses learn it really quick that way. And Fiona has a point there, don't trust a vitamin that much, Finn is not ready to show with Sophia yet. Finn seems like he wants to canter fast and get some steam out, do you go on trail rides in the winter at all? Some full speed gallop would do good for Finns brain, if u have the possibility to do that.
Nalle puh Finn can easily learn to stand still without a treat. I don’t think they go on trail rides in the winter. At least not this winter. And I don’t know about letting Finn have a full out run. Throughout his whole training, they have been working on getting him to slow down and relax, so letting him just gallop with a rider on him may not be the best idea. It would be better to just lunge him or put him in a large field to run.
my horse is just like finn and sometimes worse, and my trainer always says don’t do anything with her that involves going fast at all but especially for a long period of time
@@qiuyekachemov7672 Ofc he can learn it without a treat, it's just one way to do it and so many riders prefer to do it that way. It's also a nice habit for the horse. I truly think that trail riding is a good way to let the horses mind rest and do some fun stuff, like cantering full speed. I know some people don't like to do it, but horses really enjoy it. Or even just long walks in the forests etc. And I know that every stable do not have the facility to do that safely, but it was only a suggestion and a thing that I personally have found out working pretty good. They do what they want, and I respect that, everyone has their own way of doing things. But It's nice to share different point of views, maybe we can all learn something from that and learn to watch out of the box (I have learned that from the comment section lol).
Nalle puh i was only saying they shouldn’t use treats because they can actually sometimes cause more issues than not using them. A horse could “get attached” to them and become nippy or rude in order to get the treat. I’ve seen it happen many time. But yes, I agree with the last part😊
I honestly think Finn could have a calling for the jumper ring! Not because he is fast or unruly-those I know you all are working on, but he seems to enjoy being a bit more forward pace and honestly doesn’t look like the hunter type to me. If you look at Hunter ponies, compared to Finn, he doesn’t have the type, and honestly he doesn’t look like he has much fun! His little over jump at 13:26 reminded me of a lovely jumper pony I knew, and is such a nice jumper, I bet he has scope hidden away waiting to be tapped! If Gabby’s goal is to go to Pony Finals with him someday, there are pony jumper classes there ;) lol!
I do think he would love jumpers but I think besides the speed he will make a cute hunter. I disagree about the liking it though. He does really like jumping! See his ears and how excited he gets when he gets to jump?
DayByDay Vlogs He definitely loves to jump, no doubt about that! I was more talking about him sort of disliking the certain way that hunters are asked to go around. His ears perk right up when he locks in on a fence!
I think Finn knows who he can test a lot more -- He knows Sophie is nervous so is better behaved, but he also knows that when Gabby gets on, he's going to do something more advanced so starts acting up! Horses are a lot smarter than we realise. I have the same problem with my mare, she's a complete saint with nervous people but the second someone experienced gets on her, she starts testing them with every small thing haha!
It's Crazy that when you guys got Finn he didn't know how to jump! It's really good Gabby is still riding and training him! She's done amazing with him, and now he'll continue to be a great teacher for Sophia!
Loved it, I was seriously laughing out loud. Finn is definitely not ready for Sophie to show if he acts like that with other horses, but he and gabby could do some awesome jumping. I hope Storm’s little burst of energy was a one time thing so at least Sophie can show him.
I love this channel the the community of awesome supporters. Wow, you guys, I am just so impressed with all of you! I know a lot about EquiZen. We originally developed it for our daughter’s OTTB who had a history of anxiety from being on the track :(. I want to try to help explain EquiZen and why they are hoping it will help Finn. I 100% relate to all the concerns about drugging horses and all the awful things done to horses in the name of “winning.” It’s absolutely wrong to try and make a horse or any other animal “behave” in a way that makes us feel better. On the other hand, when a horse’s system becomes depleted of a certain vitamin or mineral or amino acid due to stress, the kind thing to do is to replace it. I think about marathon runners. There are people on the side of the road every 1/4 mile handing out little cups of electrolyte/vitamin water to help replenish the runner’s systems. If they didn’t add back what is lost, they might have dehydration leading to cardiac issues and other problems. It could even effect their ability to think. When animals have a b1 vitamin deficiency, they act very strangely and it can even be fatal. EquiZen is a tool to help replace the naturally occurring nutrients that become depleted when our horses feel stressed. That’s why we developed it, to help our horses recover what they’ve lost. I promise it’s not at all a drug. Some people talk about its “calming” effects, but that’s not what it does. It’s simply that when the horse’s system has everything it needs, the horse will feel better and usually respond better to stressful situations. Before EquiZen, we had tried many other supplements. They helped a little, sometimes. But not much. So we did a ton of research, consulted veterinarians and trainer, and finally found the right balance of vitamins, minerals, and amino acids. And it works really, really well. Anyways, I’m happy to answer any questions. So, thanks for reading my novel. Lol. Oh and I totally want to add that EquiZen is not something most horses need to take forever. What happens is that over time they learn what it feels like to be confident and composed in situations that used to be stressful, and their bodies don’t lose those essential nutrients from stress like before.
I think Sophie should try riding a school horse again and potentially show them , Gabby could show Finn however she wants to show chino if I’m correct and she could do schooling with storm if she wanted but I think Sophie would really benefit from riding a school pony !
There only trying it out. For some horses it works but others it doesn’t. They just want to keep their younger daughter Sophie feel safe because she is still not very confident with riding sometimes, but she gets better everyday.
I’m binge watching your channel and it’s crazy how much (GOOD, POSITIVE) change has happened with the girls and their horses in the past few months! The difference from this video and your recent ones is crazy
Finn is an amazing little guy! Can't wait to see him out this year! He's got so much drive and go, it'll be so cool to see him use himself as a hunter. Awesome little pony.
he is much better with that saddle! it’s no surprise being as he is a sensitive horse, so it makes sense that even a saddle that fits well enough could bother him as it’s not perfect🥰
Magnesium is supplement that some people use to calm horses. Some people really recommend and believe it works wonders, while others dont so its your belief.
as much as finn does this, every time another person rides him it usually ends not so great but when sophie rides him he really tries to look after her!🥺💕
Laura, Finn will show you what he can do with his pretty round butt!! Lift it high. LOL. Now that was fun! Gabby was having a blast on those jumps. I'm like Fiona; that indeed was entertaining. Finn is a good boy! I don't want to see him drugged either. He doesn't need that, in my humble opinion.
Cheeky pony ! My horse used to bolt of down the school to other horses too, I found doing a really tight circle as soon as he started to bolt was very good and not letting him gallop in a straight line, and doing loads of transitions was so helpful
You might be a Day by Day fan when, your singing the “Baby Jack” song when your mucking your stalls. 🤦🏻♀️. Thanks Laura for getting that stuck in my head. 😆. I must confess, I changed it to Jaxx, because that’s one of my horse’s names. 😜
It's weird, But I truly think Finn likes Sophie more with riding and in general, he does amazing with her and loves her! Good job anyways though Gabby! 💕
I think so too. It sounds mean but I have seen him turn his head and pull away from.gabby to try and get to sophie, as if to say, no I want to go with you. I see storm do similar things with gabby as well
I feel like the parents are having way too much fun and I think Finn is enjoying your laughter makes him so excited. I don't know why but Finn is so much entertaining to watch a great character. But all of yours are wonderful. I what see Chino jump the barrel too ,his jumps are longer.
I think your right! When we had a psychic read him he told her that he wants to be a champion! Both of our trainers have said this time and time again. That he wants to be the best. He always puts his all into everything he does. He makes me laugh so much and I think he feels pride when gabby Pat's him after he jumps or does something great!
My pony, Joker, is also herd bound. If there's other horses in the ring he loves to chase them. I practice a lot of stride management and half halts and he is eventually fine. Finn is like "look guys! I can jump higher!"
Love that Finn. He’s a rascally boy. Perhaps with a more experienced, stronger rider training him to get him through this he will be fine for Sophie and Gabby. Not meds. Just saying.
MY GAMING SHOW IS TOMORROW! I’m really excited and nervous I haven’t practiced and this is my second time in western on my horse brownie I usually ride western on my horse Gypsy. Love your channel so much you are amazing and a big inspiration to me ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Finny Finn, it was all just a little too exciting or stressful ( I can’t quite work out what’s going on in his head lol) and he still struggles with being asked to slow down and gets himself in a bit of a pickle, until he’s worked through it and realises that if he just calms down a little he doesn’t get pulled around and stopped and it’s actually much more comfortable for him. He’s a totally different pony when Sophia rides him for lots of reasons in my view, however I think what it’s shown me is that he still needs Gabby to ride him regularly so he continues to get used to being ridden in a group at canter and also to give him some more exercise. He has such a lot of promise and with the help of your trainers, hard work and consistency I’m sure everything will soon fall in to place 😊well ridden Gabby 👍
This is what I believe completely! I think he does love jumping but I can't figure out why he wants to race the other horses. Is it because horses running brings out his inner fight or flight? Or is it because he doesnt want anyone to pass him? I thank god sophie has never ridden him in a group and had to canter with other horses.
DayByDay Vlogs it’s possibly a combination of factors to be honest. I used to help try horses for a riding school years ago and even the quietest horse would struggle initially when in a group situation, having other horses passing close by, cantering last, having to wait and not just follow on etc. Some took to it relatively quickly, but others just didn’t cope and would always want to race and catch up with the others. Having said that they might still be perfect on the lead rein and could be used for disabled riders even. I say this as at the moment I see that in Finn, he’s ok not being asked to do much with Sophia, all quiet, low energy, however with Gabby it’s all much more high energy and at the moment he struggles with that and some horses are just like that, or have the tendency to be like that depending on the situation. What Fionna was doing in the lesson was good, calming things down for him until he settled and then building it up again 👍😊 Slow and steady with Sophia, being careful what she’s asked to do so that Finn stays quiet is perfect and it’s good for him too in my view, she wouldn’t be able to cope with his antics and there’s nothing wrong with that, plenty of time for her to build her confidence 😊
YESSS!!! My coach set up a 90cm course and one of the jumps had a barrel under it and my horse went KOKO!!! He wouldn't jump it. I love watching your channel, your videos are sooo funny and relatable. AND I think its so cool how you add in fails. GABBY IS AWESOME!!!!
I’m sorry if this offends you but I saw when Gabby asked Finn to canter he through his head up in the air maybe letting Finn canter on a longer rein would help with this as well as give Gabby a more comfortable body position xx ♥️ love u guys so much!
Gabby is so amazing at riding Finn!! They make a great team together!! And they look amazing in red!! Also how old is Gabby? I've never known But when they went over that barrel jump though it was like Finn had springs in his hooves 😂😂
fin can jump high! Why didn't Gabby and Sophie just switch horses lol, then it would be less expenses for another horse. I'm just kidding I love Chino! Good job Gabby!
Fiona I love you're shuttle comments like the Finn that didn't do nothing for 2 weeks 🤣😂 .gabby you are becoming such a awesome equestrian lady you ride awesome girl and Finn was so excited and happy as he knows it's fun when you ride him jumping and working away Finn loves it his face was priceless. Happy trails to you and all you're boys gabby ♥️🐎🐎🐎♥️. From Australia

Same! I wish I lived in Canada. I would love to ride Finn. (16 years of show jumping)
I would like to see that too. Brandan has ridden him and it went badly! That's the say he learned to rear.
It’s really distressing to see how gabby yanks at his mouth, he just takes the bit & runs with it. Some quality lunging required & I don’t mean by gabby
Drugs will not fix this. Time. Patience. Training. There are no quick fixes here. Sophie probably won’t show him this year.
I’m sorry, but I agree with Fiona. You are relying a lot on the Equizen. You haven’t even tried it, yet you seem very optimistic about it working.
I just don’t think it is fair to drug Finn so he is calm enough for Sophie to ride. The drugs could easily wear off or stop working at any time, and then what would you do?

Allie Talbot I guess so
It's a vitamin supplement! Amino acids that just replenish the natural vitamins he looses when he gets stressed! I would never drug him to ride him! Trust me my friend!
DayByDay Vlogs 💜💜💜
Allie Talbot completely agree, if it had anything in it that could be classed as a “drug” it certainly wouldn’t be approved for competition by the FEI 😊
Again with the crazy, I'm sorry, I love y'all but he's nor crazy and it's getting annoying. He's an amazing pony with so much talent and he is amazing with Sophia.
dude take a chill pill it's just there way to say how finn is as a horse
It’s TH-cam. Things are exaggerated all the time
Maybe we have different definitions of crazy. I think I am crazy and so is gabby. To me it's not a bad thing.
DayByDay Vlogs Thank you for taking this the best way you could! To equestrians seeing horses like that being mislabeled is sorta irritating or worrying. Love ya! 💕
Fiona: “holy sugar nuts”😂😂
Me: laughing really hard
Hahahaha me too
@@DayByDayVlogs lol
My favorite saying
Gabby looks so good in red! I love the matchy matchy!
Finn: hey gabby. You know something? I can be a rodeo horse.
Gabby: oh really. How? What you be?
Finn: I can be a barrel horse running through alley way about 100 mph. I can also be a buck n’ bronco too
Gabby: no 🤣 you can’t
Sheridan walton fin is also a lot better with Sophie than gabby
Life With horses I disagree but that’s your opinion.
I think that what we are doing currently is working for us
DayByDay Vlogs yep!
Lily Yatkeman yeah and Sophie will loose all of her confidence again
She's been doing amazing with Finn. If you've watched the last few lessons of her, she's cantered jumps and Finn has listened beautifully to her.
I think Finns decided he no longer identifies as a quarter horse and he is instead pure arab 😂
Lol
i’m laughing at the butt conversation 😂😂
Me too and Finns ginormous barrel jump
Maya Hoover I agree.
Nalle puh i was only saying they shouldn’t use treats because they can actually sometimes cause more issues than not using them. A horse could “get attached” to them and become nippy or rude in order to get the treat. I’ve seen it happen many time. But yes, I agree with the last part😊
Make a shirt that says holy sugar nuts and give it to her lol
Ok!
Omg I LOVE this pony !! Lol, Finn is such a good jumper...Once he learns to control himself he is going to be a star !!!
Me too! I've know from the beginning that Finn's the one.
Lol I think thats his plan!
@@hootowlholler3760 I dreamed it! I believe in him and I know one day he is going to be a star!
@@DayByDayVlogs 100% ! Definitely a star in the making 💙
Finn: I'm a racehorse
Gabby: No your not
Finn: watch me (starts galloping)
I think Finn knows who he can test a lot more -- He knows Sophie is nervous so is better behaved, but he also knows that when Gabby gets on, he's going to do something more advanced so starts acting up! Horses are a lot smarter than we realise. I have the same problem with my mare, she's a complete saint with nervous people but the second someone experienced gets on her, she starts testing them with every small thing haha!
Yup! That's him
It's Crazy that when you guys got Finn he didn't know how to jump!
“It looks fancy, eh?” Why did I laugh😂 I’m literally Canadian and I hear people say it all the time but this time I found it funny lol
I grew up around Canadians and I also find it funny
Everything is fine Gabby!
Meanwhile, Fiona is trying not to utter expletives under her breath 😂 classic riding coach
holy sugar nuts ....Fiona cracks me up she was on fire today wit her comments. That was a fun lesson to watch !!!!
I wonder how Finn would behave in a group with Sophie? He seems to act differently with Gabby
Which do you prefer:
Show jumping :comment
Dressage :like
I love your guys videos ❤️❤️
Gabby jumping over the Barrel in the thumbnail scared me 😂 but I think Finn is doing good he’s such a beautiful, kind horse!!
He really is! He is sensitive and so loving! He loves to be loved.
I literally just laughed so hard! THE AIR TIME FINN AS GETTING KILLED ME! HES LIKE A BUNNY HAHAHA
Ahh, gotta love those barrel jumps!!! Great job!
Gabby was outstanding at staying on Finn on that 1st barrel jump.
@@hootowlholler3760 I know that was crazy!!
The rider should be able to ride their horse confidently without being drugged... he’s isn’t insane like some horses can be
There only trying it out.
2:18 “Booty is nice” 😂😂 Laura that was soooooo funny!!
Gabby should definitely try show jumping with finn! Since he has a lot of speed! God I love this pony!💚💚
Good job 🤣 Gabby handled that really well! Love you guys ♥️ happy late birthday Gabby 🥳🍰
Magnesium is supplement that some people use to calm horses. Some people really recommend and believe it works wonders, while others dont so its your belief.
Triple C Thiccc I think they used something like that with Stella and it helped her a lot
Really loving gabby on Finn 😍
as much as finn does this, every time another person rides him it usually ends not so great but when sophie rides him he really tries to look after her!🥺💕
so glad to see Gabby on Finn!! ❤️
I saw the post on insta so when I saw this I clicked a lightning speed
Brianna Equestrian same
Laura, Finn will show you what he can do with his pretty round butt!! Lift it high. LOL. Now that was fun! Gabby was having a blast on those jumps. I'm like Fiona; that indeed was entertaining. Finn is a good boy! I don't want to see him drugged either. He doesn't need that, in my humble opinion.
Agreed!
“Holy sugar nuts!!!”got me laughing so hard🤣
Cheeky pony ! My horse used to bolt of down the school to other horses too, I found doing a really tight circle as soon as he started to bolt was very good and not letting him gallop in a straight line, and doing loads of transitions was so helpful
Gabby looks amazing on Finn! I think she can teach him alot!
Gabby is doing absolutely amazing with all of them and I can't believe her improvement in everything she's going to do so well in show season ❤
You might be a Day by Day fan when, your singing the “Baby Jack” song when your mucking your stalls. 🤦🏻♀️. Thanks Laura for getting that stuck in my head. 😆. I must confess, I changed it to Jaxx, because that’s one of my horse’s names. 😜
Hahahahaha love it
It's weird,
But I truly think Finn likes Sophie more with riding and in general, he does amazing with her and loves her! Good job anyways though Gabby! 💕
I think so too. It sounds mean but I have seen him turn his head and pull away from.gabby to try and get to sophie, as if to say, no I want to go with you. I see storm do similar things with gabby as well
This is one of the funniest videos ever I love when Finn goes over that diagonal double and Fiona says “HOLY SUGARNUTS” 😂😂
Love ur vids!! My horse shadow acts like Finn he can be crazy.he is a pacer pony. But I ride western but still love watching ur vids!! 💜🐴🐴
I’m on Fionas team! NEVER RELY ON A DRUG. Sophie just needs to get better on Finn and not yell whenever he trips.
Me too!
I think the best part of this was Fiona saying "holy sugarnuts" 🤣🤣🤣
MY GAMING SHOW IS TOMORROW!
I’m really excited and nervous I haven’t practiced and this is my second time in western on my horse brownie I usually ride western on my horse Gypsy.

Finn jumping the barrel was adorable 😍
My horse has a love/hate relationship with barrel jumps lol
Lol. That's funny!
I hope we see 👀Finn & Gabby in pony finals. 💕
Finn was giving it his all cuz he has been jumping tiny stuff for two weeks lol. That was great! Good riding Gabby!
Early love you guys 💓
Haha finn!! You rode him well Gabby. 😂
Finn was like: oh a monster!!
he looks so proud of himself haha! lovely jump though, he can really put in a nice shape over them
I’m sorry if this offends you but I saw when Gabby asked Finn to canter he through his head up in the air maybe letting Finn canter on a longer rein would help with this as well as give Gabby a more comfortable body position xx ♥️ love u guys so much!

I keep thinking Finns gonna spook when he canters, he looks so crazy 😂
Gabby is so amazing at riding Finn!! They make a great team together!! And they look amazing in red!!
Also how old is Gabby? I've never known
But when they went over that barrel jump though it was like Finn had springs in his hooves 😂😂
kitty lover she is 12, almost 13
fin can jump high! Why didn't Gabby and Sophie just switch horses lol, then it would be less expenses for another horse. I'm just kidding I love Chino! Good job Gabby!
Equine 9 Well Gabby would probably outgrow Finn eventually, and Sophie would definitely outgrow Storm
AHHH THAT SCOPE
Finn looks really cute in red
I can relate a lot to when you ask your horse to canter but they some how get the message to start galloping😂
I love how you and Fionna just talk about butts that’s honestly hilarious
Gabby is such a great rider!
I think you should change Finn's bit
i think this is my favourite lesson video now

Fin would do so much better with a confident rider and a person who is willing to ride properly not like a jockey 😖😖😂😂
I agree
