Love the Polynesian. Last time we were there we took a break from our 14 hour day at Magic Kingdom and went over there to eat dinner.
It definitely makes for a great mid day getaway from Magic Kingdom for food and Dole Whip. Thanks so much for traveling along with us and be upset of our traveling family. We hope you have a fantastic weekend

Polynesian is one of my favorite resorts. It hold a very special place in my heart. I can't wait for the tower to be built. I think the perfect Disney vacation would be a split stay between Bay Lake Tower and Polynesian Tower! So excited!
It’s such a great resort. I agree the tower is going to be a wonderful addition. I will be more of a stand-alone resort like Bay Lake Tower. That would be a great stays thanks so much for traveling along with us.

What a beautiful resort! It smells so good at the Polynesian when you walk in! The grounds are beautiful! We have never stayed before but will one day. My husband and I watched the fireworks from the sunset view, what a beautiful place to watch, it was such a wonderful view of the castle!! Thank you for the walk around!

I would love to watch the fireworks at the beach at the Polynesian, what a great location, especially in the chairs.
Lovely resort, they’ve maintained it beautifully, hard to believe it’s one of the oldest and original hotels on Disney property!
The only time we’ve eaten at the Polynesian was their luaus, actually twice. I would like to eat at their other restaurants, especially Ohana.

It definitely is a favorite of ours. The food selections are fantastic and Ohana’s is Dean experience. The fireworks are amazing on the beach and the pipe in the music. Hope your having a great weekend so far.

Side note because we were just there- Boutiki IS still selling the mail home coconuts but they are in an easy-to-miss bin on the floor behind a display FYI

Love the Poly so much❤ stayed there when we got engaged in 2010. Stayed DVC in 2019 and can’t wait to stay in the new DVC tower

@@TravelingAroundDisney I’ve never been to Bay Lake Tower 😅 I’m a DVC member at Grand Floridian and that’s because my wife chose that resort and have been going to Disney since my son was 5 he’s now 14. I just wemt for the first time in 2020 and hoped from Wilderness Lodge to the Polynesian then to the Grand Floridian but I fell in love with the Poly. Sorry for the long smh lol hope you have a great wkend!
@joemanifest5572 you definitely need to get to bay lake and go to the On Top Of The World Lounge. It’s for DVC blue card holder’s

Love the Polynesian and Kona Cafe. It's on our bucket list to stay there. In prior stays at the Shades of Green we'd take the walkway to the Polynesian, but with all the road construction It's been removed with no plans to put it back. So it'll be the bus to the TTC and then walk to the Polynesian for breakfast at Kona.
Steven I absolutely love this resort. I believe that whole corner area there will be a new entry for the Polynesian. I believe the road is being moved over to allow for that. Yes sadly I don’t think the walkway will return. That is one resort I have never seen or stayed. Thanks so much for traveling along and we hope you have a fantastic weekend
Maybe as a Disney employee they may let you in. It's a nice place and Mangino's is an excellent restaurant. Perfect location between the golf courses
We did a split stay at the poly and wilderness lodge. Poly is one of our favorites. I would love to stay in the bungalows but my goodness with the price. lol. I told Cheyenne if we did stay in a bungalow it’d be a staycation because for that price we not doing a whole lot of park time.
We loved staying in the bungalow when we got a chance but I wish we would have just stayed put. Love the Poly and Wildernesses can’t go wrong with those two resorts. You guys are getting closer to your trip!!!!

Why do they keep building and majorly changing these resorts? Polynesian and Coronado Springs in particular
Honestly this new tower will be like Bay Lake Tower. It sits adjacent to the original but is more like a resort of its own. Coronados Destino Tower was built to attract more convention goers to stay on property since it is the largest convention resort on property. We stopped for some beverages at Trader Sam's Tiki Terrace during our most recent trip. Aundrea, the cast member waiting on us was absolutely wonderful.
