At this point, I am convinced Rhaps is playing this mode because he enjoys getting horribly confused by his own nomenclatures for the heroes
I saw the s1rcerer and my dyslexic brain read that as slurcerer, had a chuckle about it
He's pretty talented at magic but unfortunately he is also racist
The third book introduces the witch that "should" be there instead of Agnes, but as someone pointed out, if Esme was in the battle we wouldn't be able to win. >.< (I love the witch books in the Discworld series)
Yeah, Esme's sides would all say 'Inflict Possessed' or something insane.

When you got the Sparks item, I was thinking you could have put it on the W2nderer instead, since 4 of his sides would have gotten cantrip. The extra pips from era/defy would NOT stop the cantrip from happening either, since there is only 1 pip on the side before bonuses are applied, so you could have gotten some HUGE cantrip attacks from him!

Damn sweet combo, I didn't consider cantrip mana! I realised after making this mode that someone can easily do it in textmod. It's nice it exists as a mode though.
The W2nderer would have also been a great target for the cantrip sides thing as they start with 4 1pip sides

Audiobooks are based, you should try them. If you've not read the absolute sprawling epic that is the Stormlight series, the audiobooks of those are really nice. It's like a podcast, but it's telling you a story, and it goes on for absolute hours. Also the newly-released Discworld ones are absolutely fantastic
1:15:45 the charged hammer is Heavy! so actually you would have only been able to hit the "inevitable" during most of the fight, which made it a lot less likely to save anyone until the fight was won. You Could have technically taken the bard, though I don't know if it would have been much better.

I love the discworld books but honestly the Rincewind books are generally just not good - especially the first two, especially if you're not that familiar with the swords and sorcery books they're sarirising
It makes sense though, they’re the first books in the series. Discworld hadn’t developed into the rich detailed world it became.
@@beefpelican Oh absolutely! And they really do set up the world - I more meant it as it making perfect sense that Rhaps hasn't exactly powered through them haha
Personally I think the first few are not worth reading
I started with the Rincewind books (and Equal Rites) and found the rest of the series to be severely lacking in comparison to those first three.
