Exactly. I have seen a lot of bands perform live, but none that I have such fond memories of as MOAM? It feels like six shows for the price of one. You get a danceable garage-punk surf rock show, you get post-punky space rock vibes, heady experimental droney explorations, dare I say heart-felt emotional pieces as well?, incredible musicianmanship plus a whole stage show (pyrotechnics, set pieces, props/performance , all topped off with some of the sweetest/funniest stage banter... nothing else like it. Goddamn, I want them to come back to Montreal already.
I wrote lyrics to this song and called it Can I Touch Your Moog? And performed it with the Astro-men Featuring live vocals by a dragqueen that was me, I Am Citronella. I think I complimented their music very well. ....
Holy Jesus, when was this? My band opened for them twice up in Alaska, and I'm pretty sure this would have been around the same time, because I see Trace playing with them.
I’ve been watching this video maybe two or three times a year now for over 13 years - probably since shortly after it was first posted - whenever I need some cheering up … and it works every time: this absolutely is evidence that aliens walk among us exhorting us to be a better species!!
the lead guitar is not as good as starcrunch was, a big difference, but the bassist wrote a good line here, lol i think this is off of eeviac, not as good as prior albums imo
This is one of the best uses for a double neck bass guitar.
Captures what it's like seeing them live perfectly. Thanks.

I find this band incredibly hot for some reason - I blame the jumpsuits. XD
Best thing ever in the history of things/
That's the 1981 Zaphod Beeblebrox not the remake.
