On this morning outing with the Nikon D850 I was so lucky to discover not just one, but THREE new species I have not photographed before. They were the Scarlet Honeyeater, Chestnut-breasted Mannikin Finch and White Throated Treecreeper 📸🙏
Just returned back from Nikon’s Z system. I missed my D850 so much that I picked up a brand new one! Love it so much, never going to let it go again! Love all your videos, thank you for sharing your wonderful content!
I love your attitude about photography. Your shots are so beautiful. It's nice that you have these places nearby. Thank you for sharing. Always a testament to the fact that you don't have to have the latest and greatest technology to produce wonderful photographs.
Glad you enjoyed it! That was the first time I've seen that Scarlet Honeyeater. Was easy to spot, the bright head colour really stands out in the green leaves. Have a great weekend 🙏
Adrian, first of all, great bird shots. Second, I have been considering selling my D850 to get a Z8 however, I am having a difficult time making that commitment. As you say the D850 is a spectacular camera, it is for sure the best DSLR ever made. Cheers my friend, have a great weekend!
Thanks for watching my friend. There is just something about the images from the D850. The colors, quality etc. I will never sell mine. Have a fantastic weekend cheers 🙏
Great video as always 've dumped my Sony A7 etc and gone back to a Canon 10D/50D and a Canon 7D, it's nice to go backwards and slow up a bit, Thanks for sharing.
Hi Adrian, wow, how many photos did you take that morning 😂 I love them all, really well done! And so beautiful birds. We don't have that in our area. Awesome 🙂👍 Have a great weekend, Christian
@@christian.irmler thanks for watching Christian- it was definitely one of my best mornings I have had doing bird photography. Have a great weekend buddy cheers 🍻
Great pictures, also with birds in "clutter" as it shows them in their natural world, such as drinking from the nectar in a flower. Also, it's nice not to hear that the eye detection works so well as now nearly all videos have to mention that.
I've been using a D810 for 10years now, and am considering to get a D850 to use with my large collection of nikon glass. Getting some new glass to use on it is also getting less expensive at this point. So yes, I'm interested in one. I know that Z8, Z9 are better but, for me the 850 would be more than good enough...
Im doing lots of gigs shots these days with my good old d850. A beast when it comes to lowlight situations. With the nikor 70-200 lense pretty heavy yes..every gig is like a work out. 😅✌️
Great video Adrian. Love the verity of birds you have in that nature reserve. Just out of curiosity were you shooting with auto ISO since most of your pictures which were amazing had different settings. D850 looks like it hasn’t missed a beat for old camera. 👏👏
I've had the budget for a Z9 for the past couple of months, but no matter how many reviews I read about the Z9 v D850 and how the features are so much better on the Z9, none of the reviews claim the Z9's images are superior. Sticking with my D850.
The D850 absolutely is a fantastic camera that I use for landscape and portrait. For wildlife I prefer the D500 with its quicker burst rate and crop factor
For photos nothing I've seen beats this bad boy, but it sucks for video. I'm just waiting for the Z8 or Z9 to come down in price, so I can have a video and photo camera in one body.
Adrian, thanks for the video! I have a question: What camera do you use to record yourself? The image quality is amazing. As for the video, I still have my D850 and I’m refusing to switch to any mirrorless camera.
If only Nikon made the decision to fix the focus-hunting problem in video, for the D850 it would be the ultimate camera. If Panasonic fixed it's problem on GH5 with firmware that relies on contrast detection same as Nikon D850, I see no reason why Nikon company can't do it aswell.

Beautiful photos! The D850 is arguably the best DSLR ever made. And a great value for your money if you buy it now.

This was awesome to watch. I love birds as you know. That Scarlet Honeyeater has the most intense red colour on its head, amazing. Thx 4 the vid.

i have been following your videos for quite a while mostly because i have the d850 and some of the same lenses you use. So thanks for educating me.
Glad you're enjoying the videos. Thanks for watching 🙏
A beautiful day out. Great shots. That D850 just has a magical artistic quality to it.

I can see why this camera is still your favourite and many thanks for sharing this with us - so many birds to capture. Have a great week.
Thanks for watching Shaun. Have a fantastic weekend mate, cheers 📸🙏
Photography should be fun indeed
I love your content Adrian. I love the fact that you use a variety of photo technologies and don’t rubbish the older ones.
Thank you for watching and appreciate your kind comment, cheers 🙏
would love to get this camera still in 2024
Great for astrophotography as well.
Lovely to see you out and enjoying some birds and bush!

Sehr schöne Aufnahmen.
Nice work, Adrian! I'm looking forward to trying some more landscape photography with my D850 soon.
Thanks for watching Phil, cheers 🙏

My Favourite TH-camr Adrian Alford Photography.❤❤
Just picked up a d850 for $900, and a 70-200 2.8e FL, for $700
Hard to beat the value of F mount right now!
Thanks for reminding me to dust off the D850.
Which cards do you use on your camera and why
I made a video on that - th-cam.com/video/wJ8E_L4-HP8/w-d-xo.html
