Trent has Star Bazar too which is why a portion of its total revenues is FMCG and not just fashion. Two suggestions: Make the podcast two hours long if your time allows; Have a guest in each episode (apart from you 3 hosts) for more variety of thought.
Trent is not just Zudio, it includes Westside, Star, Utsa, Misbu among several others. This 18% FMCG in terms of sales mix comes from Star Bazaar i guess
I love the concept - easy-to-digest, unfiltered opinions on recent happenings in the startup world. The fact that it's hosted by seasoned founders adds the much-needed authenticity.
In last few years, I have been to Ambikapur(North Chattisgarh) and Deoria(East UP) and Vishal Mega Mart is huge in these places. Probably Dmart would take ages to reach there. Vishal mega mart is very well placed in tier 3 and beyond.
Can revenue per employee be equivalent to revenue per sq ft in physical retail since rental is fixed expense same as employee cost (mostly software related) so measuring revenue per employee can be a good proxy.
