That horn was just sitting around thinking to itself. "My days of glory are over, never again will I bring enjoyment to anyone with the magic of music". Then along comes Jimmy.
N'importe qui serait passé devant ce cornet acoustique sans voir le potentiel qui se cachait dedans. Toi seul Jimmy pouvait le faire. Mille bravo ! j'adore toutes tes réalisations
I am absolutely blown away by your videos. Every single thing about them. My favorite is listening to the sounds of you working at super speed. Just so cool =D
Jimmy, you have a god given talent that seems to exceed my expectations every time I watch a video of yours. Wish you and Taylor the best that life has to offer.
I am speechless , the horn says it all.......and the creation of old and new working together has me watching it again........ Jimmy to be a fly on the wall in your shop would make me the smartest fly of all........and then the invisible wall of glue spray would end it all.........Once again I have learned and been entertained.........Thanks brother......and remember ....Protect your DIGITS.... Gregg
Jimmy, I just got my MAKE: magazine in the mail today and I wanted to say "Awesome!" and "Congrats!" that you've got an article in the mag! It may not be your first, but it's the first I've seen of you and I think it's great! Thanks so much for giving so much back to the community!
If you can get another horn like that you can put them both on a helmet and connect them to your ears. It will give you super hearing. You can do the same thing with your eyes by making periscopes that will let you see everything from much higher. It's great for seeing how much dust is on top of your kitchen cupboards.
Lovely. This works by providing a more efficient transmission of energy from the tiny speaker to the large ambient air by way of what is referred to as impedance adaptation. The acoustic pavilion does a great deal of it and it seems Jimmy has given great care in making the adaptor in such a way the interior diameter has no step. Great job again DiResta.
Glorious magical mix of 21st century with early Edison. Lovely how you blend in the I-phone to the classic lines with the holder, makes it look like it was a joining supervised by Aphrodite!
I love it! The only thing I'd say as an artistic critique is that the phone isn't set straight up and down, but I can envision multiple ways one would want to position this about the room. Very well done!
Had to check out the beginning of the video again after watching it to the end, to see if you broke your screen on the process of making this, but as i see now it was already cracked beforehand :) Great work jimmy, loving this one! :)
Hi Jimmy, Just brilliant I love it. What I really like is your resurrection of the old Gramophone horn. Thank you so much for the video and I subscribed.
once again jimmy, you out did yourself and a bunch of other people including me, which I am not ashamed to say. have a nice and wonderful day. some guys and gals have it, and some others don't
This is awesome... Def one of my top 5 favorite videos. maybe #1 bc of the cool factor. you've inspired me to build... I built my son's baby crib. keep it up sir.
You never stop amazing me at what you come up with. You should have gone back to the flea market and showed the man who sold you the speaker what you did.
That horn was just sitting around thinking to itself. "My days of glory are over, never again will I bring enjoyment to anyone with the magic of music". Then along comes Jimmy.
Jimmy cured a depressed horn. A true life saver 🤔
+Me You people amen to everything smh
từ gia quân Amen to that.

Jimmy your imagination blows me away !! What a gift you have. God bless
It's nice to see you returned the horn to it's original purpose without altering or destroying it. Well done in design and function.
So cool. Like how the horn was untouched and kept in all its glory. Music was cool too - perfect choice.
Jimmy this is amazing. I love the fact that you saw the horn and thought "I know what I shall make"......such imagination and skill. Thank you.
at first I was like, okay. why? but that moment when he fired it up- that sound - WOW. Absolutely great conversation piece

I love 20s music. Got chill bumps when you pressed play on the music and slid it down into the cradle. Crazy awesome.
Jimmy, you have a god given talent that seems to exceed my expectations every time I watch a video of yours. Wish you and Taylor the best that life has to offer.
You are a legend sir, your content is not only I retesting but relaxing at the same time

An old part and brass! Stuff picked at a flea market! Some tools and a Maker! The end product is a piece of art! Thanks Jimmy! Very inspirational!

John Creasey The ridiculousness of this comment is hilarious.

Switch and Lever just did something very similar to this. He made his with a wooden base and an old bugle or something as the horn.
You never stop amazing me at what you come up with. You should have gone back to the flea market and showed the man who sold you the speaker what you did.
Another DiResta masterpiece!
I enjoyed watching this, thank you for making me smile today!
Suck it Apple! Who needs a headphone jack now?!
I swear this guy could make a tire with a straw and an olive.
He could probably make glass with a few rocks and seashells and a blender.
MCKingfisher smith
lol probably
He's already done that. Click Channel then Video's. It also required 32 oz. of Gin.
Excellent build Jimmy.
