Using the correct Tandy name has a side benefit of differentiating the CoCo3's advanced graphics from the earlier models, which you described in the companion article. It also generally helps in another way, since TRS-80 (though used for a broad set of products in the early 80s) is generally assumed to be the monochrome Model 1/III/IV. I would argue to always use Tandy for the Color Computer line, but at least when referring to the CoCo3. To be specific, the releases in the US were as follows: TRS-80 Color Computer, TRS-80 Color Computer 2, Tandy Color Computer 2, and Tandy Color Computer 3.
