That is in Locust Gap.. along a ridge line that runs parallel to 901/54. It is indeed FRO land. I had contacted Brian Rich.. the owner of FRO after I saw this they said they’re well aware about it and that there are many in the area outside of Centralia. Conditions have to be right in order to see steam
@@PennsylvaniaDualSport Thanks... is there an actual address I can put in my cell phone to find the parking area. The directions from FRO leave a bit to be desired if you're never been there. IE intersection of SR54 and Marshall road . And where might that be ?
@NoBs look up the address for Gap Racing. They are no longer in business but there was a small billboard on 901 with an arrow pointing left to turn onto marshal st. Pass one small non fro coal company on right.. then a small concrete bridge. FRO lot entrance will be on left just after that. They recently enlarged the parking area when that was the only county they could open as the state opened up. From there it’s not difficult to get to that coal fire area (just hard to describe).. but you won’t see any steam this time of year anyway. There is some sweet single track in back of Gap Racing though. All FRO land
Bill Cotton thankfully we have this wonderful coal company about 30 miles away that lets you ride on their land after purchasing a yearly permit. This series was all new stuff to me (well mostly.. till I get to Ashland) as I was trying to follow someone else’s gps tracks that i laid overtop of google maps

At the end of the video, where are you ? Is that part of Centralia or still FRO land ?

Your trails in Eastern Pa. are a lot better than what we have in West Pa.

rustbuckhits this day I laid a GPX track over google maps. You can do that on PC.
