The truth is out and the way he was framed and the”fans” ran with it makes me sick to my stomach. They admitted they lied to ruin his career. The sabotage started right when he was ready to make his solo debut.
So blatant.
And the bullying rumours popped up a few weeks later. The “proof” is worse than the ship analysis videos, why can’t anyone see how out of context and toxic they are? If he bullied anyone or did anything wrong, JYP would definitely announce it and blacklist him, He is not shy like that. He has done it before with people that he has fired. WJ wasn’t fired, but left for personal reasons and JYP let him go without screwing him on the contracts. whether it was mental health, or physical health, or something else entirely we won’t know until they tell us.
That never happened it was all a lie along with the ’Fake Company” post, whether from the same people who targeted him in the first place or anti-fans, I’m not entirely sure. But his company is taking action. How come lies and hate spread so fast but the truth takes so long to reach the same group of people? How is That? I weep for humanity. 🙃

The song that got me into them was Miroh (but also Double Knot and Mixtape: On Track). I’d actually heard hellevator a while back and I also heard Miroh and very much enjoyed them but didn’t really listen. I was obsessed with Miroh for some reason a few months later at the end of 2019 and in 2020 my new obsession became double knot. I still didn’t really stan and wasn’t planning to fall down the skz hole but when I saw On Tack on my yt recommend I had to watch and then I fell down the hole and ulted them in like 2 days after bingeing most of their content lmao 😭✊ plus I’d already seen Chan a lot online haha
So that’s my stan story/rant/thingy lol
I want to see her watch Levanter, she is going to be dead at that one Felix part in the music and video. I also recommend showing her one of the cuter videos, like Awkward Silence or Get Cool besides Back Door. Pls consider it

I love these intro videos so much! Just to help, the haka (so much trouble writing that word, my iPad kept autocorrecting it to HALA lol) is from Māori culture who are from New Zealand rather than Australia. It’s kind of a ceremonial challenge I think and the ‘Hoo’ is part of it too. I first saw it as a kid when my parents were watching a rugby world cup match (I live in England, it’s pretty big here) with the New Zealand team who are called the All Blacks because their kit is all black, and they do a haka before every match and it is amazing to see! If I were a part of the other team I would be so intimidated! Anyway, I find it really impressive and they’re really proud of their culture and do the haka at weddings and other times too, you should check some out in your own time at some point:)
oh slight correction that ppl tend to misunderstand is, chan was never set to debut with got7, he was never planned for it and i dontthink jyp even thought of him because he was still young (wouldve been 17) and i think they had bigger plans for him. it was instead bambam that was supposed to be in stray kids and they werent planning to put him in got7 either. it was only after the jyp vs yg battle when bambam was sent as a representative did jyp see his potential and out of nowhere threw him in to got7. bambam and chan were always set to debut together.
Wait, so like Chan creating SKZ was Bambam not yet in Got7? Srry, not really an aghase 😅 i just thought got7 is like their senior so bambam being an skz candidate b4 got7 is surprising.
@@Ashes-to-Flames bambam was already in got7. there is a 4 year gap between got7 and skz so at the time that bambam debuted in 2014 out of all the skz members, only about 3 members of skz were in the company. skz wasnt a thing then, if they ever debuted a group, to them it was expected that chan and bambam would end up together. it was quite sudden that bambam got put in to got7 (lol im not an aghase either so i could be wrong but im going off the timeline of the yg vs jyp battle in 2013)

i think the song that got me into them was hellevator but i'd only decided to stan a few weeks before miroh when the comeback announcement came out.
Haka is a Maori (New Zealand) dance that is used to show emotions and it's just beautiful.
It's a very interesting performance to watch and it's used for encouragement, to gain strength and confidence, express grief (literally at funerals) and a lot more, it's very impactful as the whole body sings and dances to it (including the face). I wish everybody watched at least one video of the dance because it's really endearing: if you wish to, i recommend the style of the All Blacks (NZ's rugby unit) that made it famous. Keep in mind I'm not nor expert neither a native, I'm just curious and fascinated by different cultures so I might be wrong on some things!
(I'm sorry for the lecture, I'm about to get my history degree and I wanted to use it a little bit lol)

The Hakka is a tribal warriors challenge from N.Z. It was to strike fear into their enemies before battle. They use it for traditional ceremonies or when they are representing their school or country for example- the All Blacks, New Zealand’s Rugby Team always starts the game with the hakka. They learn it in the cradle. It is apart of them.
Chris has a love for them as they are our neighbours so to speak. Our history with N.Z goes back a long time and we even fought together in WW1 by creating the ANZAC’s- Australian and New Zealand Army Corp.
He incorporated the Hakka into the choreo for the victims of the Christchurch Earthquake and their families to lend love and strength in that horrible time. And though the song was written before the tragedy, the lyrics are fitting. 🥰

New Zealand and Australia are so close there was a survey done a couple years ago to see if it should become the 8th state of Australia, and you would be surprised how many thought they already were. 😂

I just started stanning StrayKids last month and the thing that got me into them was Felix's voice and just seeing clips of Chan's room they really are the best
District 9 is when I noticed them, Miroh was the release that really hooked me up (i do have all the stuff they released in between, but yeah)

Double Knot was my first Stray Kids MV I ever saw and then I checked them out I think 1-2 months later bc I had double knot on my playlist for the longest time

My biases is Minho! The first song by them that I listened to was Side Effects, but I didn't become a fan of them at that time. I listened to God's Menu last year and it took me a few listens to get into them, but then I was sold. Since Minho doesn't show a lot in God's Menu, I didn't even notice him at first, but as I got to listen to other songs I realized how talented and unique he is so here we are now. Minho is my ult :,)

I love that you're showing her kpop it's so cool to see newcomers be amazed by these incredible artists 😁 ooh as for when I first got into Stray Kids, it was definitely when Hellevator first dropped. I saw it in my recommended and I was like "oh this looks interesting" and I was immediately hooked and then learned they hadn't even debuted yet 😂 So I've kept up with them ever since but didn't fully stan them I guess. I loved their music but I didn't know them as people and I don't think I full deep dived until maybe around Side Effects era. But now I definitely consider myself a Stay ^^ I know Hyunjin is a bias and I think Felix is too because he really just commands my attention whenever I watch them. Han and Chris are definite wreckers but I think I.N is sneaking in now and I am not okay with it 😳😂

Loving this series! I think Hellavator popped up on my spotify radio when it came out, but I started learning about them when React to the K reacted to them. All I know is my bias is Han, but all the comebacks last year really messed with my wrecker list. Changbin was my wrecker, but then Hyunjin came, Lee Know snuck in there somehow, so I don't know anymore. You did a great job not pausing! Brittany's reaction to Felix was great! Loved how it just got more intense as the reactions progressed!
I think Levanter would be a good choice, or Get Cool, my first thought was Blueprint but I think that's because it is a more recent one. I'm sure whatever you choose will be a good one! Looking forward to the next ones, both BTS and EXO have different styles from Stray Kids and Ateez, I think you've picked a nice variety of groups to show her what Kpop is and the range of music groups have.

Most stays I saw were really nice in the ateez’s kingdom performances so I decided to become a stay. I’ve always liked a few of their songs but wasn’t ready to go back to being a multistan. I changed my mind after seeing Han being adorable. So this will be a good intro to them. (So I already have my bias and bias wrecker)
Which I’m not too often interested in rappers as my bias but he’s amazing. (All of skz is really because they sound really good even when rapping) I guess I just love the deeper voices and harder rapping
I don't remember which song I heard first that got me hooked, because when I start listening to a group I dive headfirst and watch everything there is, but I think it was My Pace. I distinctively remember falling in love with Changbin and his aggressive rap, which only got worse when I learnt that he's a cutie too. That's a dangerous combo for me. He's definitively been my bias since then.
I really liked the way you introduced them to Britany and I loved her reaction to Felix, it cracked me up. But I get her, he's a lot to handle.

I got into stray kids fully when Miroh came out! Before I noticed them for their debut district 9 and I even saw them live in Berlin at that time with other groups like exo wanna one etc. there I knew they were really good and I loved how they performed on stage but I kind of lost track on them? Then they reappeared with Miroh and yeah..fully stanning since then 💕

Haka is from New Zealand, which is kind of hilarious to hear you say it’s from Aus, because Australia and NZ have a friendly rivalry for everything and a lot of it is about what thing is from which of the countries (desserts, etc even people). Tho Chan has said it’s because he’s admired the haka (Australia could/would never claim it because it’s literally a very important cultural aspect of the native people and culture from NZ, (Māori)) rather than any attempt to be offensive. People here have differing feelings about it used in Kpop (there has been other groups using samples of traditional Māori waiata (songs)). I’m Māori and don’t mind but can’t speak for everyone ofc

I had a feeling when you said In one of those lives she definitely knew who the bias was it would be Felix because I mean he’s my wrecker so I get it! Also the reason why she chose him is of no surprise either because his voice is just insane! They actually call Felix Yongbok all the time! He used to not like it because he was embarrassed by it, but he’s been okay with it for awhile now. They especially call him Bokie or Yongbokie all the time, but often the subtitles will just say “Felix” lol
