Great video I really got the feel for driving the car 🙂. 380bhp on a car is still very powerful it's not far off 400bhp and it's not that long ago that 400bhp on a car was considered to be a supercar and just to clarify I'm not saying this Jag is supercar because it's not but it's certainly high performance and fast. The 5ltr V8 Jag F type is a supercar but fuel costs on that in the UK would be ball crushing along with insurance and servicing 😃
Great first sports car! It’s a ton of car for the money. It’s going to feel bigger than the fit tho ahah. You could also check out like a 986 Boxster or a 987 cayman. Those might be better for the money. Hoping to review one of those soon!
Got a 2018 model year manual V6 and I can confirm it sounds glorious. The manual sounds even better IMO. All the pops and crackles but none of the farting between gear changes.
@@Stealthy9930 Shame? Don't know what you mean but all V6 versions share the same engine tuned to 340hp (mine), 380hp (S) and 400hp (F-type Sport 400 special edition). All have the same 450nm of torque and a tune could take any to 420±hp and 500nm. Being a daily and RWD, 340hp is plenty for me.
@@JWL-UK 2018- have GPF filters. Coming from someone who has a 2016 and a 2019 in stock sadly the Old model sounds better, however the 2019 looks nicer so there is a compromise
That would be a great review, would love to if your in the Wisconsinish area. Regardless send some pics to sparkcarreviews@gmail.com would love to see it!
Just picked up a 2017 Type S love it

Jag said the F Type was basically designed for the V6. The best weight distribution.
Main thing on the BDE is the 20” Matt grey Cyclones, Carbon trim with the exclusive Flag on the S badge, and I think the Memory seats.
Ive never had a performance car would this be a good first sports car? I started driving 2 years ago with my Honda Fit 😅

Super cool, not many of the manuals were made. Bet that’s a pretty special car to drive.
Shame it’s a 2018. Otherwise the V6S engine is the best you can get in these

@@Stealthy9930 mine is a 2018 model year built in late 2017 so no filter and even more noise without Fuse 15!
Jaguar actually released this as a supercar at Goodwood
I have a 2015 f type R and it’s leagues better if you wanna review it let me know. Also have 8400$ vossen forged wheels.

best sounding v6 is busso o kar
I'm sure that the best sounding V6 is Ferrari 296
Ahaha that might be a fair argument
Is a tough choice.
It’s actually a GT3Rs
It's nice but it doesn't sound as good as the v8 one
V8 sounds better than a v6, more news at 6
Must hear???😂😂😂😂 really?
