  • Some info on Pallet Forks that somebody might find helpful or interesting. I show some differences in 42" and 48" forks and pro & cons of each.
    One of the size forks LOOKS BETTER THAN THE OTHER, You'll see what I mean in the video.
    Some things you can do with one size that you cannot with the other.
    Thanks for your time watching!!

    Funny you made this video! Me and the wife were talking about get the pallet forks for the bobcat. We use IBC cages to stack firewood. Transitioning from pallets but I'm still about 100 cages short. Looking at titan attachment forks, might go.with them. No used.ones near me at the moment

      I own a 48 inch set from Titan. They are 4000 pound forks. Ive had them for about 3 years with no problems.

      Glad you liked it!! I never thought I’d use my pallet forks as much as I do. They get used more than any other attachment!! Thanks again!

      @@TwinCityFirewood I ordered a standard series Titan attachment set of 48 in Forks for my Bobcat 610. In a couple weeks we'll see what happens. Maybe I'll even make a video

    Jacob, excellent video. I own 48 inch forks. You're right about the view. Sometimes it's hard to even see the 48. I have the taller version and that gets in my way all the time. Keep up the great work.

    I really prefer the 48” forks myself Jacob. For moving totes, picking up logs or anything else. Definitely easier to find too! 👍🏻 Great explanation and demonstrations

    I don’t have any experience with the 42”, like you I’m always looking for a deal and I found a set of 48” cat skidsteer forks for cheap. Little heavier than tractor grade but I’m not going to bend them up and I can use them on a skidsteer and not worry about over working them.

      Very nice! Nothing wrong with 42 inchers but I prefer the 48” for sure. Thanks buddy!!

      Yessir!! My grapple is my favorite attachment to operate but like you, my pallet forks get used the most.
      Thanks so much!!

      42” work better in some ways. The main thing for me is what’s easier to see over the hood of the tractor. Appreciate you always watching and commenting man!! My stepdad has been watching your channel, I think your his favorite!! 😂

    Jacob, I also have 48” forks. Typically, I like them for all the reasons you stated. However, on a smaller tractor (like a subcompact Kubota BX), I like a shorter set for moving logs or fence posts. The reason is, that little tractor is so limited by its lift capacity, that a longer set requires more power than it has the ponies for; especially if the longer forks catch on another log in the pile. Your Kioti seems to have ponies to spare. Good video

    • @TwinCityFirewood
      @TwinCityFirewood  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great point!! I can definitely see that. There is sometimes at the end of the forks that my tractor will just not lift the load. Appreciate your input and your time for always watching and commenting!! 🇺🇸🤝

    Glad I went with the 48” and wish I would have found your video before my purchase. Almost sold myself on a bobcat 42” set they had on sale. I stood there like a noob staring at each for a while trying to figure it out.
