Great tutorial! Really like how simple you made it for those who maybe starting out. I personally use PS with the Nvidia convertor tool to DDS. Its crazy how that program you used is VERY similar to PS, especially with tool selection etc. Even for me I have been doing this for a while now and never knew how to do the window banners that way. Its always nice to gather new info from other creators! My only question is- For the txdiffuse file why did you make the car color there and not the metal detail? I know for myself if I do what you loaded in all my carbon bits turn to the color of the car. Just curious if I maybe have been doing it all wrong 😅

I can try, I don’t use gimp for anything other than converting to dds.
How to make the paint deep and glossy like an newly polished car?
You will need to do a gloss map to the car. There will be another video made soon showing how to map a car!
