This was not Eucharist liturgy, just an Evensong. Typically, lit candles on the altar are *only* appropriate for Holy Eucharist, and some churches have separate "office candles" that are lit for prayer offices like Evensong. Since our worship space doesn't have a place for office candles, we move the lit candles to the side of the altar to indicate this liturgical distinction.
how is it that you sing with my song that my brother gave your church saying he did it and then call you to say it's not his? and then say hey it's really from our heart. and then say it's now ours. hey, can you steal more so we can give it to my friend who can sing it then say he did it? and then, tell me that you can't even live if you ever tell my congregatipncthat I would even discuss a thing.
Beautiful sermon, Bishop Curry. Full of Passion, Fire, and LOVE!!! ❤
Just awesome! So glad to have been at St. Marks last night
Great
I'm not questioning the sermon or anything but , what's with the two candles on the alter on the left and not one on each side?
