      No, it's not very far. The Rabbit Island is located near Lampedusa, which is accessible via ferry or flight from Sicily. Once on Lampedusa, you can take a taxi or bus to reach the Rabbit Island Nature Reserve. From there, it's a short walk to the beach. Make sure to book ahead, as access is limited to protect the reserve.
