Not sure if you noticed, but the "deals" this year, really weren't that great. But I was able to track some down, in places I usually wouldn't look, and decided to show them off.
You deserve a "Bargain Hunter Metal" for those great finds. I agree with not letting the pressure to make videos take the fun and enjoyment out of fishing, which is one of the reasons I save a lot of my one-fish catches to make a compilation.
I tell ya man, even setting up the cameras and making sure I have batteries, and lighting and... LOL you get it. It's a lot to deal with sometimes. Those deal, especially that rod, were hard to pass up. And now I got a great stock of some paddle tails.
Great job Joe. Definitely make sure you keep your love for fishing 1st and keep it strong. Content can come after that!! Looks like you scored some awesome deals
Thanks John. I have been noticing it more and more. Then I started leaving the camera at home, and I caught more and enjoyed my limited time on the water more. And as you know, having ALL the baits on the planet, is kind of fun LOL. I totaled it all up and between the rod and the baits, all under $100. Hard to beat that!

I guess they only had a limited amount. But so far, I am glad I grabbed it. Definitely a nice rod and for the price of a Shakespeare.

Good stuff Joe! Excellent score on the rod. I ordered a rod from Dick’s Sporting Goods a few years ago and that cardboard box sucks! What guides were left on the rod were flattened. Nice to see the truck made the video!

Great video Joe and nice truck! I bought my first truck in 2003 and can't imagine driving any thing else. Having a truck just makes everything easier, especially carrying one-piece fishing rods, lol. I think you will like the sukoshi bugs. The twilight color has worked well for me. Film the videos where ever you want man, I'll watch'em. I like fishing videos and unboxings. If you bring out the camera and don't catch many fish, you could just talk about the bait you are using and how its rigged, and how you like it, like an on-the-water review. Get a couple of those and piece together a video and not stress about how many fish you catch. Just a thought. You picked up some cool baits. I have to give some of those Biospawn baits a try. I drove nothing but pick ups for 20 years. Then I decided I wanted something different. I went VERY different! LOL. Yeah man, a truck is the way to go. Especially with an outdoorsman lifestyle. I park in the grass a lot and had to avoid certain spots that I knew the challenger would get stuck in. That is a great idea about the on the water review vids! I may try that. I like the editing process so that would be fun to do. Of all the brands under the Catch Co umbrella, I think the BioSpawn is the best. Durable, well priced, and they have a good variety of baits to fish. Thanks as always Paul! I hope all is well on your end as well! 👊🏻

I'm not a fan of those football jigs, I've tried in the past but never caught. Those look pretty nice though. Interesting with those spinner blades, never heard of that before. Bucca....def a baby peacock! Those biospawn "fluke" looked nice. the exo swim does pair nice with your jig 💪 Frog does look cool. Spinnerbait looks nice. Still never used a Googan. Great video Joe!

That was a STEAL on that rod - great grab! Those screw locks on those jigs are gold. Love those! Those Mike Buccas are great up here. Caught a nice largemouth last season on my first cast ever using them. I know you hate Karl’s/Googan, but they really do have some absolutely great deals and have some pretty great baits. Haters gonna hate, but are gonna lose out on some great catches! Biospawn is money, especially those ExoSwims. Smallmouth candy up here.👍 Granted the Bandito bug has the resiliency of wet toilet paper, those spinnerbaits have great action and durability.
