First! Great guide as always Mellow :D as someone who practices Hermit since his debut, I've dubbed his second skill as a makeshift blink/teleport (which makes it v fun to use). As a little tip for new Hermit mains: in the persona build, go with either max beserker (or that one trait where you recover faster when someone is chaired and you hit a survivor), OR go max anti-snooze (aka the trait where rocket chair counter goes faster). I usually go for the latter because the chair time can be extremely finicky with survivors like enchant, batter, and even forward. If you're not confident in delaying rescues, maxing out that trait can give you an easier leeway because not a lot of survivors expect it. (also the fact hermit's head can be used as a crosshair is something I didn't knew, holy shit. I'm definitely gonna test that out in a match later)
Thank youuuu~! And, yup, I like his second skill a lot! It covers a lot of distance and surprises survivors who are decoding! I've had Hermits surprise me, especially if they're coming from the 2nd floor of the hospital in Sacred.
thank you so much for this guide mellow! as a former b badge hermit i still struggle with him a bit, so this was helpful! i didn't knew you could use his head as a crosshair. what do you think about patroller hermit? i find patroller very useful for stuffing rescues (with full presence + patro, it's a guaranteed after half rescue if you can spot the rescuer early) but i would like to hear your opinion! tysm for this guide, again :D
No problem! As for your question, I think that Blink and Teleport is preferable because you can already stun the survivor. If you want to force an after half-rescue or no rescue (if 2nd chair), I recommend you use the trait that speeds up the chair time by 3%/6%/9%. Pro Tip: Look at the cipher machines and see which one stops wiggling. That's how you know where the rescuer is coming from!

Fyi. Journalist's little boy and mechanic's doll can take the charges. So yeah, you can use them to damage survivors
