The whole thing is a game show so the beans are protective suits for the players. Kinda explains the extremely inconsiderate map design lol because ur not meant to win game shows
the fact they are six feet tall terrifies me. imagine walking in an ally to through out the trahs, and you see the silhouette of one of those beans.

A few months ago, the Beanpocalypse began. Some dude jogging was turned into a large bean with arms and legs when that crown appeared. Once it happened to him, it spread to others. The beans have found me. I'm the last human remaining. All my friends and family were turned, I'm worried what will happen... It’s like Splatoon in a way, it’s so satisfying when you get a good win in Turf War but it’s incredibly infuriating when your team just blows.
