Great overview on how to handle approvals. This scenario comes up a LOT in solutions. The skill to utilize HTML tables in email notifications is very important. Well done!
Reza why am I not getting the approval request email? I am only getting a Teams request for the approval. After I approve the request in Team Approval I then get the approval email
Good content and thank you. I am member of your channel May I know if do you have any power app session series from basic to advance step by step with all covered points. i saw your videos and you explained very well.

Thank you, Raza! Your videos are very helpful. Could you explain if there is a way to make comments mandatory in case of rejection? I found a workaround to repeatedly generate the task until a comment is added but it's not desirable for business.
Most welcome! Im sorry but I did not understand the question. From what I translated, it seems you want to dub and re-upload which will not be allowed.
@@RezaDorrani Like the previous comment. I am grateful for your video and being able to watch it with the Spanish translation. It was very enlightening
Hi reza, thanks so much for your useful videos!! is it possible to embed similar HTML table in the "Start and wait for approval" task it self? as example: the approver can see all the previous approvals in a table format ?
Hi Reza... can you please make a video on " if i have lots of flows for a powerapp. if i need to make a copy of all flows its very difficult. using enviroment variables it easy it seems. how can we make copy of all flows at once"

Hello reza I have one question actually I have added combobox in editform for branch name and datasource is branch list for combobox and also added 1 text box to select branch I'd with same data source but this is editform and data source is different for this form . in this scenario I am not able to show parent. Default value in text box. So please suggest me
I would have to recreate your scenario to know the options. I recommend posting your query with screenshots on the forums at powerusers.microsoft.com/ in case someone has done something similar
Thanks for the video Reza! Any ideas on how I can track or log the status of the approvals prior to all the parties coming to consensus. Scenario, I have a document that needs to be approved by (2). Person A, approves but person B is slacking off. I can see the status of who's approved in my Teams Approvals App. But if I am out of the office, no one else can see the status of this transaction. No one else can see that Person B is the bottleneck until I come back open the Approvals App in Teams. Appreciate any feedback! PS Love your videos!
Most welcome! For this scenario, you would need to query multiple dataverse based approval tables to get the info. I do not have a specific video reference on it yet.
@@RezaDorrani I’ll start my research. Thanks for the advice! Edit - After you sparked that Dataverse idea I went to the Power Apps page (make.powerapps) + tables and searched for ‘Approvals’. I’m able to see where this data lives! From here, I bet I can query it to locate my answer programmatically.
Hallo, very good Video. 👍🏼 Can you help me? I created a flow in power automate. Its called "create order". the flow looks like this: A user creates an order in my share point list "create order". He also states his information like company name, address, articles and so on. after that, my flow creates a word document, based on a template word doc. later on, that document is also converted into a PDF. now to the issue: all the information is placed into the doc via quick entry blocks BUT it doesnt do that with paragraphs separating the info, so it looks like (NAME,ADDRESS,ARTICLES) instead of COMPANY ADDRESS ARTICLES Is there a function to separate the info with paragraphs or any other solution?
I do not have a video reference on the mentioned scenario and would have to try it out to know the options. I recommend posting your query on forums in case someone has done something similar community.powerplatform.com/
You can always check if approver is out of office prior to assigning. One of my approval videos shows that. Check the playlist link shared in video description.
For that, you would need to work with the approval tables in dayaverse. Would require premium license for all your app users. I have no plans for a video on this topic though.
I wish there was a way to know the status of approvals - let's say I have two approvers and both need to approve - How to know which approver has approved and which one has not - I guess it is not possible yet (other then generating a individual approval for each approver dynamically)
It is possible by querying the approvals tables in Dataverse. It requires a premium license though to do so as you would be working with Dataverse tables.

Thanks for this please can you share the style code
Video description has details on downloading flow.
I don't have the style tag handy. Literally asked chatgpt to build one.
If I want to approve multiple items how do I go abut that? Any suggestions I am working on a project and I urgently need assistance with that
Approvals only supports approving one item at a time.

How to create an html table before approval and after approval in email and microsoft teams
I'm not sure why you need the table before the approval. You can use the same html action as shown in video.
@@RezaDorrani Is is possible to do before approval in html format..?
@narasegowdagowda4076 You need an array of data. That's why I asked why you want to do it
The data which you have taken from SharePoint or Dataverse has to be in html format before approval and after approval is it possible..?
@narasegowdagowda4076 I don't think I'm understanding your question. I suggest posting your query on forums at community.powerplatform.com/
Where do i get the HTML code
I got it from chatgpt.
If you need entire code shown in video- it's available for members only (link in video description)
