I've been listening to westlife since 2000. It's been 14 years and I still love them. From pop to RnB to EDM, I still come back to Westlife. Real music brings listeners back and you will forever remain as part of my childhood and later life.

TheBreemad as an American fan, I can't support 1D. I've waited so long for WL to come over here, and they never did, but then the same record label has 1D launch their career in America with no problem.
Adam Trimmer Noooo Adam. It's because the response to both bands was very different. The record label would have loved for Westlife to break into the American market (it is the biggest market out there) and they tried, but it just didn't happen. One Direction, on the other hand, went viral in the U.S as a result of a social media campaign which unfortunately Westlife didn't have during their time. More importantly, they have successfully marketed 1D's personalities as well and not just their music. I mean, 1D even beat the Beatles by having their debut album peak at number 1 in the U.S. This is not necessarily because they are better than the Beatles or Westlife for that matter, but is mainly due to the tools for marketing available today that were not available to other musical acts back then. And also because they are a product of the X Factor, it was much easier for 1D to go viral. I still find it frustrating that Westlife never blew up cause they certainly deserved to.
I hope we all find that love that is pure, genuine, uncomplicated, devoid of games, lies and deceit…I still believe that dreams come through. No matter how you have been broken, (as I have been) true love will find US❤️

TheBreemad as an American fan, I can't support 1D. I've waited so long for WL to come over here, and they never did, but then the same record label has 1D launch their career in America with no problem.
Adam Trimmer Noooo Adam. It's because the response to both bands was very different. The record label would have loved for Westlife to break into the American market (it is the biggest market out there) and they tried, but it just didn't happen. One Direction, on the other hand, went viral in the U.S as a result of a social media campaign which unfortunately Westlife didn't have during their time. More importantly, they have successfully marketed 1D's personalities as well and not just their music. I mean, 1D even beat the Beatles by having their debut album peak at number 1 in the U.S. This is not necessarily because they are better than the Beatles or Westlife for that matter, but is mainly due to the tools for marketing available today that were not available to other musical acts back then. And also because they are a product of the X Factor, it was much easier for 1D to go viral. I still find it frustrating that Westlife never blew up cause they certainly deserved to.
I hope we all find that love that is pure, genuine, uncomplicated, devoid of games, lies and deceit…I still believe that dreams come through. No matter how you have been broken, (as I have been) true love will find US❤️

from the first time I heard this song in 2010 ( my final year of high school), everytime it plays, my younger sister comes to my mind. In being loved, she shows that nobody matters more than family. She’s the most thoughtful human, and nobody speaks to my reason more than her. She’s almost always right (99/100), and the last year has been the most difficult I’ve ever had. She’s been all of the strength I need, and at the dearth of it, she came with all the mental, financial and psychological help I needed, she’s helped me up, despite being countries and oceans away from me. At my weak point, she put me first, before herself, to get me to soar again. This is my song to her always. If she ever needs me to, I’ll stop my world for her. It’s literally us against the world.
