    The people who run these spas are heros. You do what you can for people who can't see a doctor because of lack of healthcare availability and do a great job! I know they don't get paid what they're worth! These professionals and their clients/patients are in my thoughts every day!

    I could be wrong, but I think this could be an old recurring cyst that may have been partly extracted before, perhaps more than once. So what we may be seeing are pieces of several different sacs, with the thickest being the oldest, and so forth. By slicing thru them with the blade Thuy has enabled the contents to be extracted topsy-turvy, mixed up with the various pieces of sac. No way to know what’s left.

    • @sharonwells9593

      Actually the cyst's contents is what keeps clogging her opening and she is merely reaching in with her scalpel, trying to break up the cyst's contents enough so she can express them.
      Cysts can become compartmentalized due to the structures it has to grow through and down deeper.

    • @lisamyers8407
      @lisamyers8407 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Thuy dissects the contents to determine if it is the dead skin cells verses the sac. Once she gets to the sack she knows she can then pull it through and end the procedure.

    • @DianeGraft
      @DianeGraft 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sharonwells9593 I would have liked to see her use a needle, though, instead of only the blade. A needle can be used to break up the cyst contents for easier expression, without having to enlarge the hole and risk a bigger scar.

    • @ingridmulder4984
      @ingridmulder4984 2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      People who have easy access to modern health care, and can afford it are most of the time afraid of pain, and we know that numbing is easily available. In the US, is it normal to get an epidural when a woman is in labor. In a lot of countries, people give birth without pain medication. Also, if you have to pull out the wisdom theeth, people in the US go under anesthesia. Here in the Netherlands, people only get a anesthetic shot. You are fully awake if the dentist pulls them out. Only a few people who are really scared and go into panic can get a reference from the dentist to go to hospital and go under anesthesia. It is just a matter of fact if you have easy access to modern medicine and can also afford it. I always say if you have easy access, you scream that something does hurt before it happened. People also go to hospitals and doctors more often if they have easy access. Then just wait a few days, and look if it gets better or if it gets worse. We are spoiled and have become much softer in handling pain. If you don't have easy access, you are much tougher in handling pain. That's what I experienced anyway.

      Actually I have seen Thuy injecting lidocaine on two occasions before and I have seen her really open someone up to remove a massive cystic sac and she put a few stitches in as well. I think because of the inability for people to afford a proper dermatologist there they have begun training spa owners with simple I&D procedures and ancillary medications. I don’t remember where I saw the videos showing her doing those things but they weren’t on her regular channels. I always keep an eye out and will update if I find them

    • @cindylewwho
      @cindylewwho ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @@ingridmulder4984 My son is an Oral Surgeon in New Jersey, US. Depending on the procedure, people aren’t automatically put under. It truly depends on the patient. He makes recommendations to his patients, but ultimately it is the patient’s decision. I, myself wasn’t put “under” to get my wisdom teeth out. Just numbing. He did say he does prefer general anesthesia for harder procedures in that the patient is usually very nervous, can’t hold their mouth open the way he needs it, the longer the procedure is taking the more and more they get agitated which makes the heart rate go up, and he has to talk the patients down. It isn’t because of pain, it’s because of fear. When your put under, it’s over and done with before you know it with less trauma to the mouth because he can do the work way more quickly and recovery is way less painful. But again, it’s always up to the patient. Given the choice, fully knowing what has to be done (1/2 of them traumatic to think about), why wouldn’t you get put under. Is it not a choice over there, because to me it’s a no-brainer? As for Thuy, she does the best she can with what she’s allowed to do. Have a blessed day 🙏!

    Some things should be left to the professionals. In this case, this sebaceous cyst, should be treated by a general surgeon who knows what the heck they are doing. Getting the contents out, as much as it is fun to keep watching stuff squirting out of that hole, is not the definitive treatment for this type of cyst. The best way to ensure it won't recur, is to remove the sac inside with the contents inside intact, and excise the leading pore.

      With all due respect, you are aware that this is Vietnam right? When the people have cysts and can’t afford the surgical clean-out, the doctors actually send them to Thuy, as she is the best at what she does. Antibiotics are also accessible over there as well. She is known to completely evacuate cysts contents and wall out of a hole no larger than 2 millimeters. She has the ability to use anesthetic to make her clients comfortable. While what she posts in a single video may seem brutal, there is a lot at the end of the sessions that doesn’t get shown. She is nowhere near as brutal and messy as ms huang, that’s for sure!
