My investment gain is 2 lakhs and it is less than 2.5 lakhs. Do I still need to pay the STCG 15% tax on 50k and LTCG tax of 10% on 50k? (1.5-1 lakhs) Or I don’t need to pay any tax as the amount is less than 2.5 lakhs? Please tell
For availing rebate on Home loan (self occupied), the amount of (1). interest on home loan; and (2). Principal amount of home loan, will be taken for the year FY 2023-24 or it will be for the year 2024-25? I mean, for which year amount will be shown in ITR-1.
