Same my guy. I didn't go for the first print as looking at it the art and look didn't really grab me. Now that i've actually seen how it plays im hooked.
It's very well done. I'm looking forward to the reprint and how they further enhance it. They have great ideas from feedback to seamlessly make some things better. As is right now the core gameplay is fun and the narrative work is top notch!
I’m almost wondering if I should stop playing, but by the time we get the updated pack it’ll be so long from now. And I’m not feeling like packing it up
Hmm, not sure what to make of this. I’m tempted by the campaign play but found the combat a bit lacking in tactics/meaningful choices. How does it develop in later game, does it become more interesting or remain slightly grindy? I did like how things (good and bad) can build 8n the bag reflecting tactical knowledge or trauma/fear etc) thus far I’ve backed it but still not sure, will it remain interesting and compelling over the long term? Any thoughts on this?
There is a lot of fun strategies to discover in the game. Every fight even with the same cards will be activated in different order or used at different times. I like it and can’t wait for the update pack. This one has legs!

One question I'm left with is how much (on average) does the game stop and turn to the narrative story? I clocked the time spent in Foreteller and it was about 20 minutes for Chapter 1. Is that normal? Or is that a lot, with the understanding that it was a LOT of intro information? Thanks for any details you can provide.
In Chapter 1 it’s heavy on narrative as it begins to lay out the story. In Chapter 2 it swaps and gameplay takes the cake and that continues until the end. There’s more time going on between Forteller narrative essentially.
Great playthrough Adam! I don't own the game, but am seriously considering backing the upcoming KS. Question: At 47:12 the Kingsguard card says to choose "Another Kingsguard" as the target. Can the Kingsguard actually choose himself? Seems he couldn't. I'm asking because the next action on that card says to choose target "Self", so there appears to be a distinction. Thanks.
In almost all cases playing dual is better as you get to take advantage of synergies the game provides you between players. There are some games where you aren’t missing anything though and true solo is the best path. Thanks for watching!

If you're enjoying the game I wouldn't stop playing. If you have time to enjoy it now. Take advantage of that!
Also rule changes have been mentioned in updates so you could always implement those and continue on!

How did you know that you added Green tokens to the bag during the attack phase? It doesn't say that on the card.
In the rulebook somewhere if memory serves!
It looks like fun until you had to control 2 guards. How many do they make you control at one time?
Two is the perfect amount! Synergies between the characters is fun to dig into. 😄👍🏼

In almost all cases playing dual is better as you get to take advantage of synergies the game provides you between players. There are some games where you aren’t missing anything though and true solo is the best path. Thanks for watching!

I really like this game but it does seem like a lot to keep up with.
It may seem that way but once you do everything once in the game it just flows.
