My first childhood hero. I was watching Survival when I was five years old. I remember waiting for a new episode with anticipation.

A lovely video, thank you for sharing. Ive been receiving spirit messages about David Bellamy recently, and this morning they were stronger than ever, so I looked him up arrived at this viewing, and am so glad I did. I ember him from his TV days ofyears ago, but haven't followed him since, and feel sure I've been missing something precious. A man with real character, a generous heart and a loving spirit. 🙏🏻💖

i remember in 1968 i think when he was brought in by the BBC to comment on the Torrey Canyon disaster and thinking"what a character: he should get his own show and leave Durham University"............My favourite was his show on thr Irish Peat Bog..

Wow the BBC will be having kittens. Very sceptical about global warming, the truth is out there!

Me and David have something in common when talking I use my hands and he does the same thing

He uses his hands in a way that shows love from a generous nature. I had watched a video of Toni Blair recently, specifically relating to the way he uses his hands. It's so creepy, completely opposite to the man in this video.

What a man David Bellamy was! Much better than that self centred Chris Packham!😡😡😡

Here here ! .. I couldn't agree more. Packham should stick to the kids shows. And to think he's being groomed as the next Attenborough aswell. David Bellamy was honest, passionate and genuine to the core.. TV is nothing like it used to be, too much fakery and the presenters are pretentious these days.

Chris Packham is a different and sometimes controversial character (he has Autism) but he cares passionately about animals and should be congratulated for being a champion for their well-being.

he's not self centred he has aspergers but has managed to find coping strategies, they're both great wldlife presenters, I think perhaps what you really mean is you don't like his politics when it comes to the countryside

The land in the uk has been stripped by land owners at the request of the governments, for cattle and sheep. Bring back more forests not just stripped land.
