Thank you for the video. I have some questions regarding niet.
1. Niet with an adverb.
I found a sentence that has a different position of niet in it compared with your example.
Saskia heeft haar moeder nog niet gefeliciteerd (niet after adverb)
Wij kijken niet graag naar soaps (niet before adverb)
Can you please explain them?
2. Niet with a possessive pronoun
I found some sentences that make me a bit confused.
Dit is niet mijn idee
Ik heb jouw boek niet.
Can you please explain why niet has different positions?

@@allenchannel5730 nog niet is used a lot on its own to mean not yet. I guess it's an exception to the rule?

Thank you! Is there a hierarchy to these rules? If there is a sentence with both an adverb and an endgroup, do you prioritize which one to negate?

Funny, on Duolingo I'm always putting niet in the wrong place but I have a good feeling for where to put ook. Now I find they go in the same places.

Why do we have to say "Nee, dat is niet jouw fruit" instead of "Nee, dat is jouw fruit niet"? The expression "jouw fruit" is very definite because of "jouw" and yet "niet" has to be placed earlier and not later.
Het is goede bijvoorbeeld: "Wij gaan met vrienden naar bioscoop"!

Hallo . Ik leer Nederlands. Ik spreek geen Engels, daarom begrijp ik niks. Waarom mag niet alleen Nederlands spreken ?
Mijn Nederlands niet perfect, sorry.
Goeie vraag. Het is een kwestie van verschillende factoren:
1) Procentueel is Engels een wereldtaal
2) Ik spreek zelf heel goed Engels dus dan kan ik ook goed alles uitleggen
3) Ik wil grammaticale content maken die zoveel mogelijk mensen kunnen begrijpen. Ik persoonlijk hou niet zo van grammatica voor beginners in het Nederlands uit te leggen, grammatica is moeilijk en ik wil niet dat het Nederlands een extra filter is.
4) Daarom maak ik Spreektaal video's in het Nederlands waarin ik over een specifiek thema spreek met hoogfrequent vocabularium
Het spijt me dat je het moeilijk vind om de Engelse video's te begrijpen, maar ik kan geen content maken die iedereen leuk zal vinden. Veel succes met je Nederlands. :)

Nope, it's Ik heb het boek niet. Het boek is a defined specified noun. :)
@@DutchGo but if we said “Ik heb een boek.” Then negate it with “ik heb geen boek”?
For me he just adds confusion. We already know what nouns, verbs and prepositions are. We just want examples of where to put the s*dding 'niet'. Example: I am not interested in politics. Is this 'Daar ben ik niet in geinteresseerd', 'Daarin ben ik niet geinteresseerd', 'Ik ben daar niet in geinteresseerd', or 'Ik ben daarin niet geinteresseerd'?
