If it's too light it won't have the moment to keep moving. Direct coupling wont work, as this set-up has to play with the Inertia of the fly wheel. Keep up the good work. We cant complain on free power.
The generator requires higher rpm than the flywheel hence the need to step up the ratio with a bigger pulley. Direct coupling with flywheel wont work.
