  • Hi everyone we are going to do the 50 hour service interval on my bobcat CT 2535 compact tractor. The 50 hour service is the MOST important service to do as you want to flush all the "break in" fluids out and replace with fresh fluids.
    Parts list for CT 2535 with 1.8L 3 cylinder diesel by Daedong
    Engine oil: 15w-40 6.3 Quarts
    Engine oil filter: 7384298
    Front Axle: 80w-90 6.3 Quarts
    Hydro/Trans filters: 6695918 & 7375650
    Air Filter: 6666333

    They definitely didn't want that oil filter to be changed with as tight as it was hahaha!! Service is very important to do!! Stay safe my friend

    If your oil level is growing, it is from fuel dilution. This can be caused by excessive idling and/or frequent rengen cycles. These engines like to be run in the PTO RPM range at minimum. Thanks for the video!

      Hey There! Glad you had good success. I believe there is one for the mid pto shaft and also one or two underneath for the pedels but dont quote me on that! I do not have the machine as its being used by my dad for winter snow blowing. I think an owners manual will show all spots too! Glad you had success happy to help!

    Hello ! I am at 44 hours … I tought first service was 150 hours … I am doing snow removal and will reach 50h by this week … I am nowhere close to have all the required parts rdy to change all of this … what should I do ? :S

    • @HomesteadJay
      @HomesteadJay  ปีที่แล้ว

      The first 50 hours is critical as the fluids they use are break in fluids so they are designed to have thinner properties for break in procedure. The problem with this is the break in oils arnt designed for long hours as they break down quickly. Id recommend taking the time to do the required fluids needed at 50 hours.

    • @HomesteadJay
      @HomesteadJay  ปีที่แล้ว

      Also the first 50 hours are when you get more "shavings" and material in the fluids from all the gears meshing together etc...

      @@HomesteadJay ok thanks ... well I am still at 44 hours for now .. no snow until friday wich I will prob reach 50h by then .... so I ordered the oil filter and will replace the engine oil too ... should I change the front axle oil too ? and air filter should be fine right ?

    • @HomesteadJay
      @HomesteadJay  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TheTremblay18 I think the most important is the hydro fluid and the engine oil at 50 hours. Its really not that hard. I showed how its done. Two drain bolts underneath and two filters boom your done. The air filter depends on what your working conditions are and the front end isnt critical but wouldnt hurt if you went over 50 on the front end. If I had to prioritize it would be Hydro fluid with filters and engine oil with filter first.

      @@HomesteadJay alright perfect .. I am really bad at mechanic and need to get better with my new tractor … I work in snow only so air filter should be good !! So trans oil/filter and engine oil/filter is a must !! Thanks alot

    Jay, I would highly suggest you call BND Automotive. There are far better options for oil. I have been a mechanic for 33 years.

      @@HomesteadJay Anything off the shelf is what the EPA allows not what the engine needs. I do oil analysis on all of my equipment. Give Brian a call and talk to him tell him Larry sent you. Lol I don't get anything out of it. I just like spread the word of better options out there. I know you said you are a mechanic so make your own choice after talking to him after 10 min. Trust me you will be glad you did.
