Would anyone be able to tell me a good supplier for this style of crafting in England, there doesn't seem to be much here and it's super expensive to ship it over however I really wanna get into this hobby
what a beautiful project!!!...this is just what I was looking for , with ideas for me to make one for my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary. a keepsake to put all of there photos from the surprise party we a doing for them, or any other keepsake. I do have a question though. when you were adding the picture to the centre and you placed I think another peice of paper there, but then you folded over clips like the back of a picture frame.....so I got a bit lost there, could you explain to me what you did?...Thank you so much. your work is amazing and I love following you on line.
Lol....no I just put in the one paper cut out, but then realized I forgot to put in the glass piece first. So the first thing that goes in is the glass piece (which came with the box), then the paper cut out (birdies), then the wooden backing....just like putting a photo in a frame. ;)

Hi Nurul, thanks so much!...No this ink doesn't bleed, I use archival ink when I'm doing mixed media so that I don't get bleeding when I apply other mediums. I used a Rangers brand, there is also another popular brand of ink called Stazon.
Can the paint be rubbed on with gloves? I'd don't want my skin come in contact with any toxic chemicals. I know most craft products say they're non-toxic but I don't wanna risk it.
Mixed media isn't a favorite of mine, but I really enjoyed watching you work. When you know what you're doing, it moves along quite rapidly. The end result really is pretty. I won't be making this myself, but I very much appreciate your artistry.
Sorry for the late reply...I got this at a local dollar store many years back and only now got to using it. But I believe you can purchase similar unfinished boxes at your local craft shops like Michaels. 😊
