I still can't get over how they rated the difficult chart for this an eight. Even if they rated the expert as a ten and the difficult as a nine it would be pushing it.
Easily the best Paranoia in the series, IMO. As for the stepchart, it seems fine, only tough cuz of the speed, until it hits the tricky portion in the middle. Oh, and one of the best background vids in the series. Top notch.:)
this is the definition of scary, i mean the music and sound bits alone made me pee in my pants, the only song which i listened for over 50 times the first time i found, that's how epic this song is.
Shouldn't the Autoplay be getting all Marvelouses? I see a lot of Perfects there. And I'm probably a noob for asking, but is that a real Supernova 2 game? If so, how are you getting it onto a PS2, and if not, how is he getting actual points?
So while wow Pluto Relinquish has a relentless finisher, this is pretty intense all throughout! Man I really wish a Supernova 2 machine was in Seattle.
@KelvintoKind3 yea, but this is just plain hard throughout the song. Pluto Relinquish saves the ridiculous part for last. I guess it's up to people to decide which is harder.
I got old, also the local scene died and the local machine went to shit. Also beatmania... Lot easier for home play, just not as physically rewarding though.
The scene is really dead indeed, unless perhaps in Japan. It's kinda sad. Hm havent tried beatmania, I still play DDR home a lot, on the PC though using stepmania. I have to play on a semi soft pad though, since it's really hard to find metal pads since they stopped producing em, even though I'm considering getting one off ebay or something. Also what do you mean by old, like, really old or ?
Yeah it's strong in some places but really it's just like the few people who haven't given up on itg / sm mods. Metal pads are fun but are really just a pain. Also old as in mid 20s Practically ancient by my standards ;)
agreed. Maxx Unlimited has steps that make you move your feet very far (up left down, up right down, etc) and some up+down jumps that can trip you up if you do them backwards; the only way to know if you're doing it right is to know the steps in advance. It's dumb in a lot of ways.
Wow, I wish I could play a song like this @ the arcade and just "WHOA" everyone. I've been playing for a good 6 years, but off and on, so the most I could manage is max 300 and possibly paranoia survivor.... Any advice on how to improve on all these PSYCHO 10 footers?
Ah, it's just your joke sounded believable for a second. I don't see myself full comboing this anytime soon. That last stream has a lot of crossovers and some jumps thrown in the middle of the insanity.
@OTWPchannel Valkyrie Dimension is currently considered to be the hardest in all of DDR. The hardest one in SuperNOVA 2 is Pluto Relinquish, not Paranoia Hades.
Jumps in DDR since Supernova counts as one hit combo instead of two. And most DDR songs last around 100 seconds in average unlike the first ITG songs who can sometimes go over 120 seconds in length.
Haha, this just makes PSMO look like Paranoia Hades' child now. Hades is the BOSS of the Paranoias now. (I've passed PSMO but can't get too far in this unless it's Stepmania ._.) Freaking brilliant song.
besides if you ask me this is the hardest song in the paranoia series. pluto relinquished is hard. maxx period would be the hardest in the maxx series. fascination eternal love mix for the FAXX series. and dead end groove radar for the groove radar specials. but the most hardest step charts would have to be pluto relinquished or dead end groove radar special.
@beybladestar I've passed both on expert, but no luck on challenge. I die at the ending crossover rush for relinquish, and at the clusters during the refrain for hades. But I still think I can do hades before I can do relinquish on challenge, cuz all I really need to do is memorize the cluster steps and that should give me enough of a life boost to finish the song. The crossover rushes at the end of hades are easier than the ones at the end of relinquish.
@d0y0uth1nks0 I have played ITG, its much streamier (lol) and the songs are more tiring but they are not as technical. Some people find stamina a problem and some find technical stuff such as crossovers, twists, slow-downs, etc. harder. I am a combination of both.
so on tvtropes it says "αTYPE-300 is Jun, writer of Happy Hardcore tracks such as SUNKiSS ♡ DROP, Raspberry♥Heart, and TRUE♥LOVE" and not-so-subtly implies that PARANOiA HADES is a product of depression i don't know about you guys but this song DOES NOT sound like something depression would make
The background is creepy, but the song is amazing. I realized that the music and background is out of sync. They should give this 666 as it represents Satan/devil plus the background and music fits perfectly.
@brownsugax Exactly why I listen to it often! It's fucking sweet and the chart is terrifying! Not as terrifying as Pluto Relinquish in Challenge though!
this would actually be the hardest paranoia in ddr series. the hardest song would be dead end groove radar special. this song is way harder than paranoia survivor max on challenge.
El fondo se parece un poco al Fantasma de Jimmy Stone del Silent Hill 4. & No sería rara la referencia si ya en DDR Festival hubo un tema de Silent Hill 3. Además que los juegos son de Konami.
@soraavenger Haha, I bet. I make my own step charts on DDR, and the highest combo edited step chart was Zero by Terra with 729 combos. I rated it a 19, but I'm thinking it's an 18....haha
besides, the reason why theres a lot of people getting pissed off with the new stepcharts is because konami have actually done something that is actually really hard for everyone, even the pros out there. for once they have been faced with a difficult step chart and getting bad grades out of it. as a matter of fact, they like the new step charts because it only makes a fool out of themselves.
So i asked if this was on the US version and it is, but in order for me to play the japanese version i have to use swap magic or any mods on my ps2, for those that use swap magic, does it work, and if so can i still play my american version ddr games on it after use?
the main problem with these songs is not that they are difficult, PIU has waaaaay harder steps than those. but the problem to get AA, which is no misses >.> Still, I like the song :D
Jeff: Are you want try this song? Ness: Sure ! Paula: Well we in Giygas place At the end. Ness: OH NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I CAN`T STAND ANYMORE! Poo: Oh shit im going nauseaous (ooakk) Chuggaaconroy: Just i Say THIS IS GIYGAS!!!!!!
well ill just give u the low down on all the maxxes so u can choose. max 300-lots of streams maxx unlimited-have fun with jumps and freeze arrows legend of max-have fun with the combination of those 3. =P i would pick max 300 if u just wanna learn what a maxx song would be like, maxx unlimited if u want to step it up, and legend of max when u feel ready
@beybladestar I think paranoia hades is more challenging, cuz its hard throughout the whole song, pluto relinquish is only hard at the very end. It can be a pain to survive the end rush of PR, but its doable with practice, but hades is gay, even with practice >.>
These ddr videos were part of my childhood. Watching them again now after almost 5 years makes me happy.
same, used to watch this all the time.
to this day I still haven't managed to beat this one, haven't played the game in a long, long time
Ah, good ol' PARANOiA ~HADES~. The perfect way to impress bystanders while also scaring the everloving fuck out of them.
Oh man, if this had just four more steps...
Not a big fan of that number, but considering this song and background, that was a huge missed opportunity
The background is MUCH scarier then the chart. O_O
welp it is called paranoia hades after all
I still can't get over how they rated the difficult chart for this an eight. Even if they rated the expert as a ten and the difficult as a nine it would be pushing it.
Right now Basic is 11, soo...
It’s even more strange that Pluto Relinquish difficult was rated a 10 when on the X scale it’s a 14 compared to Paranoia Hades being rated a 15
Easily the best Paranoia in the series, IMO. As for the stepchart, it seems fine, only tough cuz of the speed, until it hits the tricky portion in the middle.
Oh, and one of the best background vids in the series. Top notch.:)
The background is 2PARANOiA4me
this is the definition of scary, i mean the music and sound bits alone made me pee in my pants, the only song which i listened for over 50 times the first time i found, that's how epic this song is.
Me too i am so scared about this
Really? This one is kinda creepy I guess but the original PARANOiA always got me hype as a kid 😅
this song is spooky
Venny 2spooky4you?
I know
@@MusouSan yea
@TheShaaktifan
What's hilarious is Jun, who is well known for her happy hardcore songs in DDR, made this song.
Oddly fitting considering this song is technically the 'secret final boss' of the game.
this song scares me because
1.it sounds like a baby is crying in the background
2.the face is creepy
3.why did jun make his song!
i would like a followup on this comment. does it still scare you? this is important information
the background will have me up all night noooooo
My favorite Paranoia
Best Paranoia
0:49
That face...
I have been looking for it everywhere.
Crazy catastrophe, 31.avi, IVE BEEN LOOKING EVERYWHERE FOR THAT FACE!!
That nightmarish face reminds me of Luca Blight in the opening cinematic of Suikoden II.
@clayvision I completely agree. Imo this is probably the hardest 18 as it consistently hard throughout the entire song
Shouldn't the Autoplay be getting all Marvelouses? I see a lot of Perfects there. And I'm probably a noob for asking, but is that a real Supernova 2 game? If so, how are you getting it onto a PS2, and if not, how is he getting actual points?
A bot isn't necessarily perfect. (Edited out dumb response after re-reading the question. xD)
Autoplay only goes for pfc not an mfc
Damn, Paranoia has evolved since the first DDR I played 18 years ago......
@soraavenger There was no specific song...it was different random songs from the SuperNOVA 2 soundtrack....I was on Endless Mode....
Don't know if anyone noticed, but even AutoPlay misses, or at least comboCount does not sum up some steps, like jump arrows at 510 combo on 1:34
Jumps are only counted as one combo
This song gets me pumped!
The original song comment for this is just plain nightmare fuel. It sounds like Hades is really chasing after you.
So while wow Pluto Relinquish has a relentless finisher, this is pretty intense all throughout! Man I really wish a Supernova 2 machine was in Seattle.
did the ddr makers forget that we only have 2 legs?
@KelvintoKind3 yea, but this is just plain hard throughout the song. Pluto Relinquish saves the ridiculous part for last. I guess it's up to people to decide which is harder.
This paranoia scares THE shit out OF me.
1:38 welcome..................TO HEEEEELLLLL!
1:38
凄すぎるーーーー!!!
Man this was such an insanely fun chart, I really miss being able to play through charts like this. Growing up sucks~
what happened ? :P
I got old, also the local scene died and the local machine went to shit. Also beatmania... Lot easier for home play, just not as physically rewarding though.
The scene is really dead indeed, unless perhaps in Japan. It's kinda sad. Hm havent tried beatmania, I still play DDR home a lot, on the PC though using stepmania. ;)
goemon4 ah. I'm only 16 still got it going then I guess.
agreed. Maxx Unlimited has steps that make you move your feet very far (up left down, up right down, etc) and some up+down jumps that can trip you up if you do them backwards; the only way to know if you're doing it right is to know the steps in advance. It's dumb in a lot of ways.

GOOD CALL. This song kicks ass.
yes, it is a big difference in helping you get an AA, an AAA, and a marvelous full combo AAA
want to go snowboarding or go play ddr on my steel pad i had? (4 DANCE DANCE Revolution).
@YoYoKirby1 Yes! Like a genie from a lamp. :]
How expert isn't a 10, I have no idea... not that it matters anymore since the rating system changed.
I suppose it's perfectly normal to find the difficult stepchart for 'The legend of Maxx' easier than the basic chart for this song
paranoia hades? more like PARANORMAL ACTIVITY!
For a second there, I thought the song was going to have 666 notes
@soraavenger Yep, I'm extremely serious...
@jonathan456767 The paranoia songs are supposed to be chaotic. I mean, even though songs like this are ridiculous, it's called PARANOiA for a reason.
I'd like to see a video to back that claim up. :)
Jumps in DDR since Supernova counts as one hit combo instead of two. And most DDR songs last around 100 seconds in average unlike the first ITG songs who can sometimes go over 120 seconds in length.
Phew, thank god... XD I'm gonna make my house fall down if I attempt those jumps anymore lol
Haha, this just makes PSMO look like Paranoia Hades' child now. Hades is the BOSS of the Paranoias now. (I've passed PSMO but can't get too far in this unless it's Stepmania ._.)
Freaking brilliant song.
If only I could hit that part at the end. Those jumps just throw you off, man.
IIRC she was going through depression when she composed this. Same with Super Samurai.
Creepiest PARANOiA ever...
I've finally FCed it after 15 years....
besides if you ask me this is the hardest song in the paranoia series. pluto relinquished is hard. maxx period would be the hardest in the maxx series. fascination eternal love mix for the FAXX series. and dead end groove radar for the groove radar specials. but the most hardest step charts would have to be pluto relinquished or dead end groove radar special.
@Sumpweizsik
The air counts as 2 combo so in reality this has 733 steps. That's close to 1337! (elite)
Giygas? Is that you?
@beybladestar I've passed both on expert, but no luck on challenge. I die at the ending crossover rush for relinquish, and at the clusters during the refrain for hades. But I still think I can do hades before I can do relinquish on challenge, cuz all I really need to do is memorize the cluster steps and that should give me enough of a life boost to finish the song. @soraavenger Haha, I know, right?!
Before anybody else becomes too overwhelmed, look at the label at the bottom right of the screen. . . ( AUTOPLAY )
The background is creepy, but the song is amazing. I realized that the music and background is out of sync. They should give this 666 as it represents Satan/devil plus the background and music fits perfectly.
@brownsugax
Exactly why I listen to it often! It's fucking sweet and the chart is terrifying! Not as terrifying as Pluto Relinquish in Challenge though!
la mejor cancion que se han podido inventar en el dance
this would actually be the hardest paranoia in ddr series. the hardest song would be dead end groove radar special. this song is way harder than paranoia survivor max on challenge.
@Metalingii2 Of Supernova 2, yes.
Lawl.
I played this on Heavy, i almost died.
so basically you agree with my point.dead end groove radar being a really hard song.
jun made this song. FUCKING JUN MAN! MY LIFE IS A LIE.
I still love how JUN of all people came up with this creepy thing... I mean, going from things like Sweet Sweet
heheheh paranoia songs always get the complex stepcharts. like respect and survivor.
@soraavenger I have no clue....
@mewisadorable First 15 for me xD
Just another 2 years of training =P
That Background it's a Scary Face is so Scary and Creepy but it's Red remains of Red Screen Of Death in Playstation 2
That face in the background scares the shit outta me D:
WTF that is one hell of a backstory (no pun intended)
@soraavenger What song?
How did you Autoplay'd this in ps2 or pcsx2?
El fondo se parece un poco al Fantasma de Jimmy Stone del Silent Hill 4. & No sería rara la referencia si ya en DDR Festival hubo un tema de Silent Hill 3. Además que los juegos son de Konami.
It was re-rated a 14 on the X scale - that is to say, they admitted that it was a nasty 9, and probably a borderline 10. I'm stuck on it too.
Its not the song that's creepy, it's the backgrounds.
@soraavenger Haha, I bet. I make my own step charts on DDR, and the highest combo edited step chart was Zero by Terra with 729 combos. I rated it a 19, but I'm thinking it's an 18....haha
o-o i always thought it was the other way around
That Scary Face came out in 0:48
@soraavenger Dang! I played Endless mode on DDR SuperNOVA 2 and I got over 5,000 combos.
@Chinderayi madness?......this IS DDR*kicks off comment bar*
You cannot grasp the true form of Giygas Rhythm.
besides, the reason why theres a lot of people getting pissed off with the new stepcharts is because konami have actually done something that is actually really hard for everyone, even the pros out there. for once they have been faced with a difficult step chart and getting bad grades out of it. as a matter of fact, they like the new step charts because it only makes a fool out of themselves.

Jeff: Are you want try this song?
Ness: Sure !
Paula: Well we in Giygas place
At the end.
Ness: OH NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I CAN`T STAND ANYMORE!
Poo: Oh shit im going nauseaous (ooakk)
Chuggaaconroy: Just i Say THIS IS GIYGAS!!!!!!
well ill just give u the low down on all the maxxes so u can choose. max 300-lots of streams
maxx unlimited-have fun with jumps and freeze arrows
legend of max-have fun with the combination of those 3. =P
i would pick max 300 if u just wanna learn what a maxx song would be like, maxx unlimited if u want to step it up, and legend of max when u feel ready
idk maybe they did in the japanese version, or some notes got changed, then saved

@bsul21
BPM: 75-300
@sephiros000 Btw there is many video who guy pass with an AA
BRB, not sleeping tonight. Thx Konami.
You know ... This song is made by Jun (creator of True Love , Sunkiss Drop ...) xD
Almost a 666 combo...
