No, they are harmless kittens. Brilliant questions.

I thought the same thing. Absurd that people can dedicate their time to a profession, in this case journalism, and yet my 3 year old can ask more engaging questions.
😅😅😅 well said
No, they slipped and fell in a mug shot. Good God 🙄🤷
Oh come on. It was a good piece.
Excellent documentary and huge respect to that prosecutor for all the sacrifices he has made in his own life to fight a battle with no hope of winning. Wow...

Anyone who spent some time in Southern Italy knows only unimportant members of mafia are arrested, big bosses get protection by the government facilitating their crimes. The only time bosses are arrested is when stronger countries want them, or during the wars between different clans if too many people start dying. War on mafia functions the same as war on drugs; they will not succeed until society makes very big changes.
Is it truth
the war on drugs is directly linked to the war on mafia because drugs are the main bread winner today
That public prosecutor...a hugely courageous man.
May his life have the protection he fully deserves
Ndranghetta territory is really so impoverished. What a shame. The US law enforcement and judiciary can learn a lot from their very professional and brave Italian colleagues.
They corruption there is unfortunately worse than here.
Definitely going to be a extremely difficult task 🇦🇺❤️🇮🇹
Not for brave good men.
Good thing these evil men actualy fear the law enforcers, hiding in holes not to be caught :)
THEY NEED TO BRING THE RICO ACT IN ITALY AND ACTUALLY DRAG THESE CRIMINALS OUT AND PUT THEM ALL IN JAIL FOREVER
they have had have a similar program, it's called 41BIS if i remember correctly and it was created especially for the mafias
We have it, we just don have as good a intelligence system.
As hopeless as the resources of the police are, they at least rock cracking uniforms....
They have a huge amount of money 💪❤️

It will be an eternal battle between Law enforcement agencies and organized crime.
Until they'll finally legalize all drugs!
Not that there aren't any casualties in Europe, but in South America they're chopping heads off for that white powder.
May good triumph over evil. Always. Truth stated in this documentary: Mindsets must change and the politics and legal restraints in the way of defeating bully boy mafias must be removed. May all Mafia reap the reward of their evil- may they be terrified as they terrorize, may they be targeted as they target others, may they be infiltrated as they infiltrate and infect others, and may their unity vanish and in-fighting destroy them and they families.

Italy has always had an "organized crime" problem. The Mafia, Cammorra, D'ranghetta... The solution is simple but the government is complicit

Only one man could hammer mafia, that man was Cesare Mori.

The real danger are the politicians, in fact they are already hampering Gratteri's career!
yes I also heard that the new govt and italys right is not s big fan of the Mafia prosecutors. Why is that, isnt law and order a typical stereotype of the right?
Bullet proof office windows but in the corridor they are open ?
The office has closed windows because it is probably in front of a main street.
The corridor is alongside an inner courtyard, probably at the second or third floor and without any angles to fire a shot from the outside, despite that would be still possible from the inner courtyard to have a clean visual, but that place is probably over surveilled. They could have a fire angle only flying over the building with a helicopter and that is extremely unlikely to happen.
Guess all corners and top of the buildings are guarded 24/7 with snipers etc from the police, they can't approach his office like a mile away
The real culprits are those desperate despicable consumers. Without demand , no drugs..simple

Why hide the faces of the people on the street and in balconies? They are in public.
I imagine it's because they might be mistaken for being members of the Mafia.
It's far simpler to blur them out in the first place than trying to solve it in a court later on.

So how does that work with all the cameras on buildings, in businesses, dash cams, and tourist just walking around with cell phones taking video or photos?
If thats the case then its no wonder the criminals are winning. The cops are spending all their time dealing with the serious privacy laws when some 15 year old tourist girl taking a selfie ends up with some mafioso in the background, who files a complaint.
