Guys understand your disappointment but just to share a fact...for developing a new platform to introduce a new model a company has to spend around 200-250 cr initially ( depends on segment of car). Maruti has mastered in it...may be Toyota India is still sceptic to spend that amount of money in India and preferred an alternative route...

For all the people saying Toyota has similar design as maruti suzuki, people should be aware that there is a tie up between both the organizations.. ex baleno and glanza.
Toyota bought around 5% Suzuki share and Suzuki to invest in Toyota through open share. This is part of their business agreement in the outside market where each others have no much presence. Suzuki to use Toyota technologies and Toyota to use Suzuki vehicles. As a Proud Toyota owner I am not happy with this decision ☹️☹️
