Sneak Peek! Inside the NEW Coronation Street Experience!

The Coronation Street Experience is now officially open! In addition to being able to tour the outdoor sets, you can now peruse the brand new indoor exhibition floor, which is home to replica sets, famous costumes, props from years gone by and more! We've had a chance to take a look round ourselves, and in this video, we share our photos and footage of the brilliant new addition to the tour.

No clue unfortunately! I guess it’s down to Rita not being in it much, and the cafe being a better place as a communal area because of all the seating places available - as well as more people working there.

I’ve booked for the tour with one of the stars, does it include the exhibition?

Yes, you'll get everything included with the ticket you bought. You'll see the star pretty early on in the tour, the finish the tour, then you'll get to go up to the exhibition.

Love Corrie, you two are great presenters but it looks like a rubbish tour, I thought it would be the real film set!

The outdoor set is all the real thing, and that makes up the majority of the tour. They aren’t able to use the real sets for the indoor parts, though, as they’re all in use during the week, and they need them to be ready for filming first thing on Monday morning. You’re sometimes let into the police station, the kebab shop and the flower shop, though, as none of them are filmed in the studio.
