I recently installed an Active Target unit in my Crestliner after watching your videos, and have a renewed appreciation for the quality of work you do! Having to sqeeze under the front deck of this little VT17, my install looked like a rats-nest when I was finished!
Thank you. It is tight working in this type of boat, my hands and arms were cut up a bit. I did get a chance to work on a couple of Crestliners, John Cox's old boats. We were upgrading the trolling motors, so I didn't have to really dig into the boat and the bow wasn't too bad to work on. I am working on a video of another Lund, that one was very tight to work on as well. I did kick a few things off the boat when I was trying to access some areas. I hope that you get a chance to really learn how to use your Active Target. It is a great tool to have when fishing. When working in tight spaces, you do have to plan ahead of how the cables will be routed so that you can keep it neat and easier to maintain.
Nice upgrade for that customer. He will definitely enjoy them.
Yes it was. He is very happy with extending the life of his boat and being able to expand his fishing styles and techniques.
