+NoxStudio OBJECTION! It isn't DC that removed the head. Juggernaut's base model is headless! You could have used the custom version with the more subtle mask and more visible head (that you used towards the end) and make him look like he has a head when looked from behind! Hah, you can't fool those who has spent time in the workshop. ...On a side note this is the best sfm based DOTA2 project i have seen in a long time. props!

You see, the problem with that is that not every hero has a lore as good as that. Abbadon, Kunnka/Tidehunter and Huskar/Dazzle all have good lores. I could have shat a better lore than Enigma, Ancient Apparition and Outworld Devourer's lores put together.
+Mattias Bravo well,almost every nether hero(except for pugna),or hero that originates from another plain of existence(eg spirit breaker,spectre),wont make up for a good story. yet,i think they could make a very action loaded sfm with theyr storys,as they can be shown as very frightening,otherworldy creatures that run rampant amidst the heat of battle
Gerald Bieger i get what you're saying, but most lores in dota are trash. No two ways about it. As stated in Pyrion Flax's guide to Phantom Lancer, all lores are sorted into 4 categories: Last of their kind (heroes like Juggernaut), Mage battles (Heroes like Rubick), God Given Gifts (heroes like Nyx assassin) and norotiously, the Mysterious Copout (heroes like enigma & AA). Name me 1 hero's lore that doesnt fit into these categories.

Juggernaut's lore always impressed me,the first time i saw it in Dota 2 Portal's channel made me love the hero and now this,thanks a lot for showing it to us
Man, these gave me chills. I've been waiting for ages for a video with the lore of DOTA 2 heroes. I really hope they continue to do all the lores and when the are done with every lore, I hope they make a final hour kind of story for DOTA 2. It felt like I was watching a movie while watching this. Looking forward for more of this kind of SFM. :D
dude... it's not that I didn't like the video, but Nox... I think you need a better story writer... I mean... really? I village of warriors that says it's okay to go against the rule because your mother is sick? also, the lore said that Yurnero was banished for defying a corrupt lord... you turned his character upside down... it's a great video, really! but I just can't help find those two part quirky ...
For your average viewer this is not bad although to me this is pretty amateur and cringey, try not to tell the audience how he feels, like how you said sadness but rather how he acted due to his sadness, therefore inferring to the audience that he is sad. The video was great although the script wasn't so great. Hoping you will do a next one try make it more professional by using techniques where you let the audience use their imagination a bit rather than just telling them exactly what happened, create visual stimulus in their mind and infer things to them. Don't mind my grammar and what not this was typed on a phone.
+Luke Gallo The main critique that comes out of these animations tends to be the script. Animators aren't necessarily good writers; and, since most of these are amateur products, they're usually struggling with SFM to the point where they can't effectively tell a story. It's like getting a 10th grade Swedish kid to write a short story in English. It's probably going to be shit.
+Luke Gallo Well, videos like this one are not exactly movies as you know them; the main focus here is animation. You definitely shouldn't expect Oscar-worthy material here in terms of the script.
+Luke Gallo Your feedback is on point and you can actually notice that I was trying to give you some space, like in - "For he is now the lone survivor", while you see the fire and deconstruction in the background, without any explanation. There are other moments similar to that one, but I guess I will have to increase the amount of them.
the funny thing is i cried watching this..maybe because i lost my mother recently and i started playing dota just to keep my mind occupied and astonishingly Juggernaut was my first hero which my friends taught me. Amazing video.
I almost cried... this is so touching. I've been play dota for six years now. Started with dota1, and now dota2. It's like watching a great tradition being passed on to the next generation. This is just so amazing. And the BGM, holy crap it was so powerful.
