Many of these images are compilations I created from Sissel's "Reflections" series and several other online videos. I want to thank Alex Romanov for providing links to some of the videos I used and I also want to acknowledge Hans Haug for his creative excellence when producing the Reflection series. If you would like to see more of Sissel's videos or purchase her music, use the links in the description area above.

Great and interesting work done by you with love. Compiling photos is a rather painstaking and lengthy process. It takes a lot of patience and perseverance. For example, I am no longer capable of such work. Thank you, my new friend, for mentioning my humble person. All "laurels" belong only to you and our Norwegian "princess"... Can I have some criticism? What music is in your video? She's beautiful. But... If it were possible to use music from Sissel's repertoire? ! Good luck in creativity. Please us with your new creations.

I'm glad you asked that question. I tried to use Sissel singing in this video and the last one (Sissel - Voice of many faces) that just had images too. I was able to use Fire in Your Heart and Go Leave in the beginning of Voice of Many Faces... but when it came to the "variety of photos" part, there was no music that carried it along quickly enough. At the end, when I had the photos change every 2 beats of the music, the problem was finding music with a certain tempo and "beat" that makes the photos "flow" along. I tried many different ones that Sissel sings but none felt right. Since I wanted the photos to be the emphasis, I finally decided to use just musical pieces. I chose Carmen because of its driving beat. Plus I think it's a fun piece to listen to.
On this new one I wanted music that was slower but not too slow. Something kind of mellow to give the feeling of tenderness so I used a piece called Gazebo. There was a tremendous amount of work creating the compilations, but in the end I was really pleased with them. In many of them I thought Sissel looked so sweet. I wish she would see this video, and if she does, that she will be well pleased. I chose the image with her mom as the last photo because I know she loves her mom so much.
And once again, thanks for sending me those links. Did you notice the black and white image where she's playing the trumpet? If not for you, I never would have had that image.
I won't be able to do another video like these two because I've used most every bit of "quality" video there is on Sissel. So it's back to her music... and I'm glad for that.
P.S. I responded in English because I know most people won't bother to get my response translated. Hope you don't mind. God bless. Charone

@@dashcam-blogger Well... You answered my questions... You can write in your own language. No objections. I understand you perfectly with the help of an interpreter. If only the people of the world could also understand each other. Unfortunately. There is a war going on at the moment. Shells again fell near my house yesterday. It seems to me (I am almost sure) that they are hunting for me. Projectiles fly along the path of my daily walks. You will be surprised, but American shells are also coming. All this is sad. We need peace. I hope you don't cut me out of your life like so many of my old American friends do. I wish all of us to save our beautiful (but not very intelligent) world. I'll be waiting for your new creations. It saves me from depression and despair. Take care of yourself.

A beautiful video of a beautiful woman - your work does justice to her beauty and to her person. Of course, when the artist has such perfect beauty as its subject, it is FAR easier to use your talent to create a masterpiece !! 😊
Even if Sissel doesn't ever see it, I am sure that she would be "Well Pleased" at the work and love that went into it. YOU know that you gave to her YOUR love through your labor, and it will remain on TH-cam for others to enjoy and appreciate as a token of that love.🥰

Sissel's Reflection music videos had such a plethora of fantastic footage to choose from it made it so much easier to put this together. The hard part was capturing the videos and then finding the single frame to use. In her videos there are 60 frames in each second so I meticulously went through looking for the absolute best frame (i.e. in focus, position of her hands/arms, where her eyes were looking, etc.) Then combining multiple images in photoshop... then back to editing them into the video.
I so wish she would see it and it would put a smile on her face. It's my gift to her (and to others who love her) for all the wonderful moments I've had listening to her sing!

It took me hours of researching to finally select the photos... but in the end I was very pleased with the video. Glad you liked it too.

I'm so glad Sissel has put up so many music videos. It makes doing this a lot easier (though it still took about 40 hours to complete).

It is amazing how still photographs can capture so much!

Especially when someone really knows how to use Photoshop! Seriously though, most of the images are ones I used from her Reflections video series which made finding excellent images to use pretty easy (if you call searching videos for the better part of 40 hours easy). I just love making these videos. Did you see the images I found for my previous video called Sissel - Voice of many faces? If not, I think you'll also enjoy it.

@@dashcam-blogger Yes Voice of many faces compilation was great too! It’s evident you love putting these together, you do it very well. I can imagine finding just the right still image from a video clip is no easy task!

It's no easy task, but well worth the effort in the end!
