i think the game looks fun. just one thing i've seen. at 3:02 they kinda inspired from the game crysis 3 (sci-fi one, kinda scary sometimes, good ost, great storyline and kinda underrated). search "the 7 wonders of crysis 3 episode 4: the typhoon". they kinda made the same weapon and those robots make like the same sounds as in crysis 3. just search and you'll see what i mean
It's probably a combination of this being yet another game set in the sci Fi future and the remastered edition being part of the legendary pack (don't forget, the number of maps listed in it is less then how many those games actually had, so we all know what that means! D! L! C!)
I think it really has more to do with the remastered COD4 fiasco than the game itself. Of course, the fact that it's shifted genre so much in this game probably doesn't help. If it wasn't called Call of Duty, though, there wouldn't have been any issue.

Atmospheric flight physics don't apply to space. Plus the game is targeted to the mass audience, so there has to be a balance between realism and accessibility. I personally would have preferred a more sophisticated flight system.

Honestly, this looks good. Campaign looks amazing, Zombies looks really fun and entertaining, and Multiplayer looks like an improved version of Black Ops 3 (which I still loved). Since Day One I instantly liked this game. And the deal with $80 for Legacy Edition? Worth it. A remaster would go for $30 or more and MW Remastered has pretty much all the MP maps (10, then 6 more on December). So I think it's fair for $20 extra.
Also, the Dead Rising remasters are $20 each, which is what Modern Warfare is pretty much selling for. And I forgot to mention pre-ordered get cool bonuses.

I can understand why he would ask. I just don't think that the evil motive of "take over the world, uh, because" is what most people would describe as "putting our all into" the story. But I suppose we'll just have to see.
The answer was "SetDefs been trying to take control for years, Ethan," not just 'because.' Obviously there's a complex backstory and reasoning behind their attempted takeover. This is literally the beginning of the game, you aren't going to learn too much in the opening sequence. Also, although Ethan is a super sophisticated robot, he'd know just about as much as a child when it comes to an enemy's motives. Think of him as a bit of a child, always asking questions because they aren't too sure whats going on.
Personally, I prefer Cod 1-5 because the campaigns are focused on YOU ! YOU make the diffrence and you can feel it. I will never forget playing CoD 1 for the first time, I was a kid and felt like I was in a real WW2 battle ! And now ? How should I feel about that ? Its still CoD but not in the same heroic way, but more into the movie-like way.

COD sales have dropped quite a bit. This game isn't what the community wanted and pre-orders have shown that sales for this won't be great. It has far less pre-orders than the last 3 COD games. People have voted with their wallets. And the devs knew it wouldn't be great or why else would they bundle a remaster of COD4 with it....
supply drops in bo3 were great at the beginning cause everything was cosmetic and not really game changing. But when the money hungry assholes of activision wanted more money, they made it able to be payed with money and adding supply drop exclusive weapons in the supply drops, THATS when supply drops were fucked up

It's a shame too because this game actually looks pretty damn interesting. I'm not a year to year COD player, so not what you'd consider a fan per se. I loved the old school WW2 COD games and I thoroughly enjoyed COD4:MW. Over the years since MW I have only played a few matches of zombies with my cousin and friends here and there, my main draw is the SP. I enjoy the campaigns of COD more so than I do the MP & CO-OP. I only wish that they'd put more effort towards the SP campaigns in quality and in length - Less than 5 hour campaigns just don't cut it. Infinity Warfare sounds like it is going to have a fairly substantive SP this time around, at least compared to the last few COD games so for a gamer like myself, that has me excited and hopeful that it will deliver. Let the haters hate.

I am really trying to keep a open mind, but the more they show the more I don't want to play it. They aren't paying for raitings, it's their opinion. BF1 won GameInformer's Best Multiplayer Award plus a lot of other awards from multiple reviewers. I personally cant wait for both games, CoD is way easier for me since I suck at games in general, but I'll play BF a lot as well.
It's amazing how some people are actually commenting on how graphics from ghosts looks better than this, when ghosts had so many glitches at launch it was hard to count.

Me too I love this game, even until the first trailer or teaser it will be awesome. I played almost every COD (and a little bit BF), but for me this will be the best COD because three main things i love astonomy, futuristic games, and david bowie songs.
I guess you need to look into the game even more, it will have the most weapons in COD history, expect lasers but also expect a normal gun feeling. I think Infinity Ward is going to surprise us with good news in COD XP.
So far, the sound effects are outstanding, the visuals are a massive improvement from Ghosts, the guns are interesting unlike Bo3, I like the new breaching strategy, I like the fact that your Jackal isn't on rails. I like the direction of this game. I can't wait to see more guns like the AR/Sniper hybrid. It reminded me of a mix of the SC-2010 and the Lynx.

People hate on the first trailer, but im pretty sure rarely anybody's hating on this! Give this game a chance, so what if its not WaW remastered, who cares if its not all boots to the ground type, atleast we get to drive stuff and not walk halfway across the map to find an enemy like Battlefield. Honestly, in MY OPINION this game looks like it could stand (until the haters and squeakers get on) for a long time and pick up on Black Ops 3 just under a new name. BF1 wasnt the first battlefield, but its new and people like, but people hate this game probably cause its not like BF1 with WW2 style guns and gameplay, atleast we get a game (maybe) without micro-transactions. So, please give this a chance, we could make CoD better again(probably)!

COD sales have dropped quite a bit. This game isn't what the community wanted and pre-orders have shown that sales for this won't be great. It has far less pre-orders than the last 3 COD games. People have voted with their wallets. And the devs knew it wouldn't be great or why else would they bundle a remaster of COD4 with it....

But when the money hungry assholes of activision wanted more money, they made it able to be payed with money and adding supply drop exclusive weapons in the supply drops, THATS when supply drops were fucked up

It's a shame too because this game actually looks pretty damn interesting. I'm not a year to year COD player, so not what you'd consider a fan per se. I loved the old school WW2 COD games and I thoroughly enjoyed COD4:MW. Over the years since MW I have only played a few matches of zombies with my cousin and friends here and there, my main draw is the SP.
I enjoy the campaigns of COD more so than I do the MP & CO-OP. I only wish that they'd put more effort towards the SP campaigns in quality and in length - Less than 5 hour campaigns just don't cut it. Infinity Warfare sounds like it is going to have a fairly substantive SP this time around, at least compared to the last few COD games so for a gamer like myself, that has me excited and hopeful that it will deliver. Let the haters hate.

CoD futuristic? lol that hasn't been a thing since maybe CoD 3. even then its iffy. Battlefield has imo always been more realistic but i don't care much for that game. I'm hyped for CoD every year and have not disliked any of them so far.

Dantegeonsc I don't think they pay for ratings. People just think that, like when people thought Sony paid reviewers to give good reviews for the new Ghostbusters. They aren't paying for raitings, it's their opinion. BF1 won GameInformer's Best Multiplayer Award plus a lot of other awards from multiple reviewers. I personally cant wait for both games, CoD is way easier for me since I suck at games in general, but I'll play BF a lot as well.

It's amazing how some people are actually commenting on how graphics from ghosts looks better than this, when ghosts had so many glitches at launch it was hard to count.
This is my plan of attack, I'm gonna buy Infinite Warfare at game stop, open it, take out Modern Warfare Remastered, turn right around and sell Infinite Warfare for store credit an buy the NES Mini =D

Hate to burst your bubble but infinity ward knows everybody would do this exact thing if cod4 remastered came on a separate disc, including myself, it's gonna be a digital download that requires the infinite war disc to play.

Honestly this is the most realistic storyline in the future CoD's I've ever seen. Cause I mean Earth will one day run out of Major resources so we'll have to go to other planets. And we've already gone to the moon like 10 times and currently trying to get to Mars

I guess you need to look into the game even more, it will have the most weapons in COD history, expect lasers but also expect a normal gun feeling. I think Infinity Ward is going to surprise us with good news in COD XP.
And btw the weapons will be mostly non-lasers I think.

So far, the sound effects are outstanding, the visuals are a massive improvement from Ghosts, the guns are interesting unlike Bo3, I like the new breaching strategy, I like the fact that your Jackal isn't on rails. I like the direction of this game. I can't wait to see more guns like the AR/Sniper hybrid. It reminded me of a mix of the SC-2010 and the Lynx.
